You would be late of train if you wait here for your coffee! Haha just kidding. But keep in mind they can get very crowded. We had to wait 20 min to get the coffee. It was good but not like awesome! My partner go espresso shot aa extra hot( wasn't that hot though). Overall nice vibe, remind me of Mozart in Austin. read more

maybe it's because i got a mocha but i could not taste coffee in my drink AT ALL, almost $7 for a cup of chocolate milk. i was upset but i'm not one to ask for my drink to be remade. i've been to more coffee shops than i can remember and this is at the bottom of my list. came here due to the reviews but was very disappointed. maybe i should've got an iced latte like i usually do when i try a new coffee shops but wanted to try something new. for how busy it was they did get my drink to me quickly read more

The customer service is excellent. Pastries are yummy. I got the bear claw party. It was sticky and yummy. Coffee is terrific. Darling back outdoor patio with several Aspen trees. It's a very peaceful place. Tables are far enough apart that it seems like you are the only guests outside, yet there is a lot tables. On our afternoon (around 2:30p) it's was pretty full. I am a member of your Rewards and have spent monies consistently enjoying your North Rim Roast coffees/lattes and the burritos/chocolate croissants. YUM! I also enjoy the chill environment at your cafe, most of the time, except for today, when I had a disagreement with your manager, Jason. I explained to him that I was upset this morning because someone had stolen my tote with my two sleeping bags, one blanket, one pair NAU sweats and my toiletries, while I was walking to your cafe. Mind you, I was quite upset at the theft, as anyone would have been. Given the circumstances Jason did not need to do the following: ask me to leave LFTT and call the police. Upon surfing your website I found that you as owner, Dave, find cafe spaces are for social connections and a celebration of the people in the cafe. Given my very bad experience of theft which is spiking in Flagstaff, downtown proper, I was trying to calm down and relax with my coffee, and truly believe your manager should have been more considerate. After all your ANU AGA quote, also on your website, states that although making money is very important for a business to survive, but money alone cannot be the only reason for a business to exist...In this case, your manager should have been more understanding and not let the matter escalate the way he did. I have managed staff and hold an Associates Degree in Leadership. I would have handled the situation entirely differently. I would hope that you will speak with Jason, and have him not cause any further problems for me, when I choose to be a patron once again at LFTT, which I am almost daily. Again, I have had very pleasant conversations and have met very lovely, kind, Coffee Lovers and NAU'ers, at LFTT, and I hope to continue to do so, undisturbed. We are coffee tourists. If this is the last cup of coffee I ever had, I would die contentedly. I ordered the Retro Metro on the suggestion of one of the warmest, kindest barista's I have even met. Noah is the kind of barista that I passionate about the shops offerings, he recognizes that coffee is a soul warmer. He made two suggestions , I chose the Retro Metro and it is an absolutely superlative cup, deep , true and now etched in my mind as the best cup I have ever enjoyed. It's probably best you miss this train. Tables and counters were clean. Bathroom could've been cleaner and has the toilet positioned directly in front of an outside window which can be unsettling for some. Decor is neat and slightly industrial, very cozy. Straws and napkins were well stocked. Restaurant temperature was just right and the shop was very busy. Clientele seemed to be in their 30s. Staff was not friendly, not attentive, and hardly urgent, but at least their uniforms were tidy. Black coffee tasted burnt and was scalding hot. I asked if they had any cup sleeves, they didn't, and they said they double cupped the drink instead, which was hardly effective. Stopped into this quaint and quirky shop before we hit Route 66. I tried the "Hot Lips" flavored latte, which was excellent. Well balanced and in no way too spicy or too sweet. I wish I got her name but the cutest & sweetest barista created this specialty drink, a strawberry white chocolate mocha with oat milk and it's literally SOOO freaking delicious (you GO GIRL!! :)) Seriously my perfect variation of a coffee, more sweet than bitter. Stopped by for a coffee and breakfast on the way to work meeting. Location; right off the 180 and Meade, you cant miss it. It appears to be an old gas station turned into a cute little boutique coffee house. Coffee/Breakfast; I got the Special coffee drink that came with a quad shot, he added some sweeter but made sure to melt the sugar before adding to my drink, it was delicious. The best Chai Tea I have ever had! I also really liked the shop itself. It had a nice cozy/relaxing vibe to it. They have things you can buy to eat like rice crispy treats, cookies and other awesome goodies! Cute ambiance. They had a separate entrance and exit point so that people don't cross each other. Great small hideaway spots to sit and stay. They have great options are very friendly staff willing to help and give options. Some vegan options, water options, and bakery items. Some merchandise for sale as well. Super cute space and great flavors. The coffee was bold and a bit dark so be prepared for that. Otherwise it was a great place to pop into while walking around flagstaff! There are a few reasons why this coffee shop stands out in Flagstaff. It's a go to for me mainly because of the atmosphere and pricing. What they offer besides coffee: The shop itself doesn't feel cluttered or dimly lit like some other coffee shops. One entire wall is all windows which makes for an open, refreshing feel. They have warm, light tones with some plants hanging around. I hit this place on my way to work because it's the last stop to get coffee. There's a microwave to heat up any food you have, a water station to fill up, fresh meals to choose from and bunch of home baked goods. It's a perfect place to come work on homework or what not because the music playlist sets a calm mood, but it's not distracting. The coffee: Some drinks are steeply priced, but then again I haven't found a single place in town where some aren't. There are plenty of reasonably priced options that they are willing to spice up for no charge, like adding vanilla into your late. I've never had any burnt roast and they are always willing to tailor a drink more to what you like. I have had problems with staff at other shops that don't help you figure out what to get. I'm no coffee connoisseur, but the staff here does the hard work for you by asking questions about what flavors you normally enjoy. Their baked goods are a must try and they have a few tasty vegan options too! My favorite drink is a traditional macchiato with soy milk and a hint of vanilla. read more

Late for the Train makes a delicious latte every time and we LOVE all of the amazing goodies they carry, most of which are local I believe. I am a sucker for zucchini bread and that's usually what gets me but they have all kinds of goodies even quick lunch options. They also have a really great little side room that would accommodate a small meeting, never thought to do it but if the need ever arises, I know my spot! I love this local Flagstaff shop. Friendly staff, smooth coffee, and local roasting practices. I have a ton that I get filled with beans every time I visit. I usually get the Carmel latte and most of the other things on the menu are delicious. They have 2 locations, however the one on San Francisco has very limited parking.
