They don't have danish/rolls, just prepackaged lemon bread, pumpkin bread, etc, that you can get at the grocery. They have breakfast burritos, sausage rolls, etc, but they expect you to microwave them yourself, and yet they have a place for a tip on the receipt...sadly I tipped before I knew I had to do my own microwaving! This place is so cute! There are two separate rooms connected through door ways, one room has a bunch of tables and an area of couches. The other room is where you order and pick up your treats, they also have seating in this area. After skiing in Snowbowl a quintessential coffeehouse was exactly what we needed. It was decorated for the holidays and has a lovely view of Heritage Square with the Christmas trees and lights. We had Dave's Rockrammer which was espresso, raw sugar, and steamed cream, Retro Metro which was espresso, coconut with steamed milk, and Coconino Mocha which was stout cold brew, dark chocolate, milk, and cream. Phenomenal coffee! We all loved it so much that we bought bags of their Flagstaff roast and their Day Break roast. The Spiced Molasses cookie was soft inside and cracked outside, perfect as well! This place was recommended by a friend. Although the line was long, it moved rather quickly and the service was great. I didn't feel rushed when ordering and the person at the register answered all my questions. I got an iced caramel latte and it wasn't overly sweet, which was great! Stopped in to grab a quick cup of coffee with the family and ended up staying and chatting for about an hour. Late For the Train is a cool coffee shop in downtown Flagstaff. The space is pretty big and offers plenty of seating. Great for working, studying, or just hanging out with your family. The staff was warm and welcoming. My group of five each got a drink of some sort. I went with my go-to, oat milk latte with cinnamon powder and I added my own honey to it. Walked in to the coffee shop and the barista let us know they would be closing in 10 minutes but would still take our order. I felt bad but the barista let us know it was totally fine so we got in line to order. The person in front of us ended up ordering multiple drinks so I felt extra guilty about making the workers stay longer than their closing time, but the person working the counter was extremely nice still when taking my order. Unfortunately, I didn't love the Matcha Latte I ordered - definitely too sweet. The girl taking my order had let me know that if I didn't like my drink, they would remake it. So nice! I love this place. I always have, it is my favorite place to visit on the weekends to do homework or just read a book. The service is wonderful, the employees are so nice! The one singular reason I am making this review are the burritos. Why the burritos? Well, they used to have different ones, and they were AMAZING, so good. But within the last 6-8 months they switched whoever supplied the breakfast burritos, and they are just gross. The filling on the inside is fine, but the eggs? The texture is awful. Its like they put a sheet pan of eggs into a microwave. I do not recommend them. One of the major reasons I went here is because of their breakfast burritos, as it was a "cheap" but easy breakfast, but I just can't eat them anymore... It makes me so sad, because I love this place and want to support it. If you're here just for coffee though, this place is amazing the service is generally amazing ( leave a bit of time if there's a giant line) and the ambiance is generally wonderful, although it can get very crowded, so if you are looking for somewhere quiet, this is not it, at least on the weekends. read more

LFTT is a regular pit stop for us when we are traveling through Flagstaff. Our favorite drink is either the spicy Fireman's Hot Cocoa or Fireman's Mocha. On this most recent trip, we also tried theirs coffee via a 6 ounce cappuccino, and it was okay but a little acidic for my taste. The service was friendly and helpful. The staff helped us navigate the roasts that they offer and suggest an appropriate size for a cappuccino to try out their coffee. The ambiance was relaxed and chill. read more

How does this place have 5 stars. The " burrito" was served cold and you could "nuke" it in the microwave but the potatoes where not cooked thorough so heating didn't help. The coffees are all small so if you want a large anything, your stuck getting a latte and the vanilla used is weird, I've had quality vanilla and this ain't it. I asked about it and the barista seemed very defensive so I didn't push the issue and just left the latte on the counter after only a few sips, don't go here! read more

This is a cute coffee shop located around the main drag in flagstaff. On this trip we finally stopped in to grab a drink on a Saturday morning. They have a decent amount of seating and although business seemed steady, it wasn't overly crowded. Staff were friendly and efficient. I ordered a medium mocha with an extra shot - they let me know they only do double shots so I ended up with a quad. I was happy with it and enjoyed it while walking around the surrounding blocks. Overall I thought the price point was fine for the quality of the beverage. The bathrooms were also clean. I would definitely stop in again next time I am up here! read more

Wow am I impressed! As a keurig k cup machine owner I almost never get coffee on the outside so to speak. Well I'm on vacation and I want to have a morning cup in 20 degree weather so I went here by recommendations. I thought a cuter name for the place would be "Latte for the Train"! Late makes no sense, like the business is so slow it'll make you late? Weird name but great place! You walk in on one side then loop around to the other. Works well during covid times. There's an assortment of baked goods WITH INGREDIENTS LISTED and I had a molasses cookie that was old tyme good! The coffee, well let's just say I can see why this joint is so popular. Got a regular drip with espresso added black. It was really smooth and way better than anything I make at home. This was constantly cited as a stop people would make before trekking up to the Grand Canyon and I can now see why! You can get your cup of joe in the morning and one of their MASSIVE breakfast burritos as well. They had a ton to choose from in the fridges off to the side. I noted that the grilled chicken was completely out but wanted the bacon and eggs anyway. They also had some rice bowls of some sort. You can warm either of these up in the two microwaves within the shop before heading out the door. They even give you instructions for optimal heating times. The refrigerated food was wonderful, but it should be noted that they do not make any food to order. I also had ordered a Vanilla Latte which claimed to use fancy Madagascar vanilla beans in the syrup. It hit the spot, but definitely was a little too sweet for me on that given morning. The I-40 would have been a 10 minute quicker drive up to Grand Canyon NP for us, but I'm glad I detoured to this stop along the 180 especially for their breakfast burrito because it kept me full and energized for the entire day. The blueberry muffin I also grabbed helped in that respect. As a note, this muffin was definitely vegan of some sort... a little dry and airy which probably meant no butter (or something animal) was used. I also noticed that they sell their coffee beans in the shop, so it could be another item to grab while you're there. Whether you're on your way to Snow Bowl or the Grand Canyon, Late for the Train is an ideal stop! read more
