    Parking info not free Sundays.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon at around 2 pm. Great customer service and drinks were delicious. Parked on the street, parking was not free on a Sunday in this area. Lots of space in the patio to sit, read and enjoy our coffee and beignets. Loved their options on their holiday menu as well as their original menu.

Stopped by this adorable little coffee truck and absolutely loved it! I got the Pelican and it was a little sweet with a strong banana flavor but I loved it. I can't wait to try other things from them

Rating: 4.6/5 Later Gator Coffee is a cute pink truck located at the Lawn. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to find no line. I ordered one of their summer specials--the Meringue Gator ($7) with oat milk (+$0.75). It's a coconut and white chocolate matcha topped with meringue cold foam and toasted coconut flakes. I expected it to be super sweet and heavy, but it was actually perfectly balanced. All the flavors blended beautifully, making it feel like a refreshing treat rather than a dessert overload. I'm definitely coming back to try more of their drinks!

What a cute little coffee (and more importantly, matcha!) truck Head on over to Drinks Backyard to find this gem. Their lot is small in the front, but plenty of parking in the rear of the building. Walking up, you are greeted by some little gator plushies, and even at the window there are some fun little gator Easter eggs to see. Barista was super nice and recommended a type of milk for me that would go best with the drink I ordered (The Gator). Matcha seemed good quality and WOW the cold foam was so delicious. Also got to try the beignets which here are a little bit like donuts with powdered sugar on top. They also have other toppings for them, which I'd love to try next time. They came out PIPING hot & were delicious even after I drove them home (~20 min post-fry). Finally please note they have a punch card reward system, which is valid at both locations - they just opened on S Congress too. Will be back for more of their fun drinks.

The literal cutest coffee truck here! Absolutely obsessed with the flavors and creativeness they use in all the drinks!!! I can't express how sweet and tasteful this little place is! A must t try!

We got the Lavender Latte with oat milk and the Swamp Rose Black Tea. Both were great! Very refreshing. The truck is cute and the space is very nice. We will return :)

This has to be the nicest staff and service out there. I love that this is a local woman owned business and the owner has the best heart. My absolute favorite is her merengue gator matcha!!!

Ordered two coffees because I couldn't choose just one. Amazing coffee & the beignets were delicious. Service was great, good music, shade at the picnic tables and I found parking to be easy.

This place only has chill outdoor vibes with multiple outdoor seating, has more parking spot in the back, restrooms are available, staff is kind and food is good! Good for a coffee and dessert treat

Later Gator Coffee is such a gem! The coffee and tea are both excellent -- you can really tell they put care into every drink. I'm also a huge fan of their beignets -- absolutely delicious! I love that the whole place is Louisiana-themed; the vibes are so fun, welcoming, and unique. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel right at home. I also love that they have games and books you can enjoy while you hang out at the picnic tables outside. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy good company. Parking can be a little tight up front, but there's plenty of parking available in the back, so it's never an issue. Highly recommend checking them out -- you'll be glad you did!

Came across this trailer almost by accident back in August (so a little delayed on my review by a few months), but very happy that I did. The breakfast tacos were wonderful, but it was the beignets that were out of this world. So soft & pillowy; I could have eaten 20! I went just for the original ones with powdered sugar and I'm obsessed. I'm not a tea drinker but I tried one of the drinks that had lemonade, juice & green tea which was delicious and I would certainly get again. The little area it is parked in was nice and I liked that they had a little shelf with some games on it whilst we were waiting for our food.

So excited to have a quality new coffee spot in SE Austin! Stumbled upon the cute truck at drinks backyard and had to come back for my espresso fix! Being a Louisiana truck we don't get beignets often around here so really enjoyed those as well as the tasty roasted espresso and their sweet cold foam was delightful! Friendly service from the owner and can't wait to try all the other tasty drinks.

I was able to place my order and pay with Apple Pay. I ordered the Taiyaki Sundae with black sesame and ube swirl soft serve served in a fish shaped mochi Belgian style waffle with Oreo dust on top. You can customize your sundae with filling like organic red sweet beans, Nutella or custard and toppings like Oreo dust, fruity pebbles or rainbow sprinkles. I ate this on site and the nutty black sesame balanced the sweet ube perfectly, and the Oreo topping added the best crunch. They had a variety of mochi donut flavors. Lucky for me, nothing was sold out today. I ordered the Oreo ube mochi donut and ube milk tea to-go. I ate the mochi donut later that day and it was probably my least favorite item from my order. It had the chewy mochi texture however I didn't get enough of the rich ube flavor. It had somewhat of a bitter aftertaste and the Oreo overpowered the ube. I drank the ube milk tea the next day and it was creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet. I really enjoyed the flavor profile of the beverage and would order it again. Overall, enjoyed my selections and will be back to try more dessert options and flavors from one of the most unique Asian dessert spots in Austin!

What looked like a traditional milk toast dessert, was literally four pieces of stale bread, toasted and stacked on top of each other. that tasted freezer burnt with lots of sauce on top. No topping between each layer so it was not flavorful or tasty and all you could taste was a weird chemical flavor from the bread. Same thing with the ice cream, so freezer burnt that it tasted of chemicals, cardboard, and didn't even melt despite sitting on the plate for 15+ minutes. The Taro tea itself was fine with the crème brûlée topping, but the brown sugar Boba had the same chemical "going bad" flavor to it. It was super hard and bitter tasting instead of sweet. I asked for a recommendation as a first time and was told I have to try the original to start. Service seemed friendly but felt a little rushed for me to hurry up. Cheesecake Biscotti - from my small slice, I was impressed. It's an airy cookie that's baked to a crispy finish. The exterior is crispy but the inside is fluffy, it's a fun texture that simply feels remarkable. Plus the overall cheesecake flavor is a delightful sweetness. Matcha Cheesecake - I was impressed with the softness. The small sample was so light yet ready to fall from the toothpick at any moment. It was just so delicate. Matcha was present though it's hard to say how strong from a quick sample so I'll reserve on that. Original Cheesecake - now for the real experience, it's no exaggeration to say that this quite literally melts in your mouth. It's almost like the cake simply dissolves, leaving a cheesecake flavor behind. Super fluffy, light, and airy, the cheesecake is delicate and when you eat it, your taste buds light up as if a spotlight is emphasizing the presentation. Fantastic end to any meal as well, especially because it's not heavy at all.
