Great little coffee shop with precious coffee and pastries. I wish this shop was open late. Space wise I love a bigger shop with more tall seats from the same chain.

Nice local coffee shop and eatery next door to Black Sawn yoga! ‍ Nate's is delicious and fresh. Big fan of the Caprese and Chilly Willie. Definitely a fun place to walk up to, if you're in the area.

Super cute little place. Googled a coffee shop while my car was getting washed and they popped up. I walked over so didn't get to glimpse the parking situation. They are located at the end/corner of a deadened street. Upon entering their menu is up above on chalk boards and they have quite a selection. Same with the bake goods, all looked yummy. I got a plain drip coffee with creamer & sugar and then the ham and cheese turnover. The coffee was tasty, no complaints. the ham and cheese turnover came out warm and was good, there is a heavier pastry to meat/cheese ratio and there were a few spots that didn't quite get warm. Overall tasty though. Took about 5-8 minutes for the food to come out. I sat inside at one of the window seats looking out. I saw a make shift bird feeder outside one of the windows with birds coming by to grab a bite. Outside seating looked nice as well if you have a few extra peeps. They got very busy after I arrived so I had perfect timing.

I've known Nate and Susan for a while, but this was the first time I'd been able to make it into their shop! We came by early in the morning on a Friday after finishing up a yoga class next door at Black Swan. We were warmly greeted and our order was taken promptly. The coffee and cappuccino were good, but it was really the homey atmosphere and good vibes that made our visit great. Oh, and getting to see all the baked goods coming fresh out of the oven and getting put on display. Can't wait to return for a cinnamon roll.

Nate's checks all the boxes - local, cozy indoor/outdoor seating, exceptional cold & hot coffee drinks, the best baristas, but most importantly: homemade pastries that might be better than Mom's. Show up early to grab a Blueberry & White Chocolate Macadamia Scone - not overly sweet, crusty but never dry, stuffed with soft nuts and baked bursted blueberries. It's like heaven, and perfect every time.

The food was less than what I had hoped for. Especially after spending $45 for 3 people. I went hoping to try the blueberry scones but they were out. So we had the sausage cheese croissant which my daughter did not enjoy. I had a ham and Swiss cheese that tasted a day old. And my husband had a fruit danish. Which was served cold. The pecan coffee I had didn't taste one bit of pecan. Again my daughter didn't like the matcha drink she ordered. She said it had chunks at the bottom. So it was not even stirred correctly. The location is a nice little place. Good parking. Cute outdoor seating area too.

Loved this place! The atmosphere is cute and cozy, and it's obviously popular with a line but it moved quickly. A little expensive, but I enjoyed my food and drink and the experience.

Cute and cozy coffee shop off W 5th st. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, located in an older house with limited seating inside. Ordered an iced cappuccino and I enjoyed it - one of the better ones I have had in Austin. Coffee was not burnt and did not have to wait too long. They have a variety of pastries and sandwich options that I am curious to try the next time. Outdoor seating is very cute but the day I went it was very loud because that area is also where trucks unloaded for the apartment building across the street.

Really cute spot to grab a coffee and walk around Clarksville! I wouldn't say there is much indoor seating, felt more like small tables to wait until your drink is ready. Also. Nate's is next to a gym studio so lots of post workout people coming through too. Good vibes and laid back. Had some front patio seating on a nice day as well. Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area!

What an adorable hidden gem this place is, and with the most delicious baked goods and the most satisfying coffee!! It was my first time here, tried their latte, sausage kolache, blueberry scone.....everything was literal perfection! So tasty and perfectly cooked! Can't wait to come back for more!!! :) They have a big menu, with lots of options for everybody. Indoor & outdoor seating, and enough parking around. Sweet staff and quick service!!

Hard to find? Yes! Worth the Find? Absolutely!!.... Its hard to believe that a place this small can pump out So many scratch made items....The service is "Austin" very friendly and welcoming...watching the customer engagement they treat everyone like family. An IG photo caught my attention and I had to have it...But first we had to try a few of the freshly baked snacks....A blueberry scone first, which renewed my faith in scones...chewy, tender...oddly shaped...made for a great bite and went so well with the killer coffee....the Coffee cake was our snack later that afternoon...perfect amount sweetness with a moist cake....On to the main attraction...Simply put...Brisket on a Biscuit...Super flaky Biscuit, Huge slice of very tender Brisket on top of an egg frittata and a delicious Cold smoked pimento cheese. What a Bite!! Wife rolled the same but with their Super Bun and No pimento cheese (who does that?)...Overall a great experience!

SuperBun Breakfast Sandwich with avocado and brisket. They actually didn't have brisket so they substituted with pulled pork! Delicious.

Can't go wrong with a Nate's cinnamon roll with a latte, or cappuccino. Also love the Goldenmilk latte. One of my favorite stops in Austin!

Do they have gluten free bread?

I don't believe I've seen GF bread at Nate's, but they have GF cinnamon rolls, and they're outstanding!!! We get them most Sunday mornings. They're so popular that they frequently sell out, so customers are just allowed two/person (or maybe…

Thus far, I've only had cookies. First time was when said friend gifted me a rather ginormous chocolate chip cookie that melted in my mouth. Couldn't get it in my belly fast enough. Since I've been going on my own I've also had the lemon crinkle cookie as well as the chocolate crinkle and the double chocolate chip. All are enough to put my head in a tizzy state of intoxication from their sugary goodness. I'll have to say the double chocolate chip cookie is my favorite. That is, as I type this. I'm sure during my next visit it'll be another cookie. Perhaps the lemon will move forward in my line of faves. No matter because as I said, it's all delicious goodness. Baked love. Perfectly baked. Yummy. Pure cookie bliss.

Definitely one of those places that keeps you thinking about the cookie long after you leave. Everything else in the bakery also looks amazing, but the cookies are absolutely the star of the show. One important thing to note for first-time visitors: be very careful with parking. The lot next door apparently boots cars almost immediately if they see you park there and walk toward the bakery. It's not the bakery's fault, but it's definitely something customers should be aware of before visiting. Parking headache aside, this place is 100% worth the trip.

Wow, that was a bold claim! I finally got the opportunity to try ThoroughBread cookies and they were quite yummy. These cookies are like no other cookies I have eaten. I got the chocolate chip cookies with pecans. They had the texture of gingerbread cookies and were huge. They were gooey in the middle, perfectly crisp on the outside, and rich without being eye-squinting sweet. The chocolate chip cookies had welcoming textures and flavors. In addition, my server was kind and patient as I made my selection. You could taste the quality of ingredients, and each mouthful was progressively delicious. Definitely try Thoroughbread cookies for yourself. You're in for a treat.
