Food: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Value: 5/5 Meat-lover bonus: 5/5 I appreciate a business that thinks about how they can differentiate themselves. I love that El Comalito chose aesthetic and targeting the Texas meat-loving foodies as that differentiator amongst taco trucks in the area. As you can see the tortilla colors are a nice surprise, but it's a really nice homemade take that I'd come back for. My husband and I got breakfast tacos and both types had brisket. The flavors were a traditional take but I loved it! The salsa was also a complimentary touch of flavor. The value is really great. 4 breakfast tacos for $18. You get a hefty portion compared to the usual lean breakfast tacos that other trucks serve. The menu is simple but thoughtfully creative. We are already looking forward to coming back to try the quesabirria, chilaquiles, ramen birria (?!!!) I love the feeling of a warm family doing something together. This makes me want ro support small businesses who enjoy their weekends nurturing something they love to do which is make good food. Please try it!!

When I'm craving a solid breakfast taco after a trip to the Easton Dog Park, I immediately head to El Comalito. The menu is simple, but thoughtfully curated. Their corn and flour tortillas are amazing and so fresh! While it's unusual that they add "barbacoa" to all their breakfast tacos, don't hesitate to request to hold the meat. My default order (1 Migas Taco and 1 Potato, Egg & Cheese Taco) may not always be correct, but it's always delicious. I also admire the minimal aesthetic El Comalito has embraced for their branding. It's inviting and makes you want to stop by to take a peak at what they have to offer. Sadly, if you aren't accustomed to spicy, skip the salsa, as they only serve their signature jalapeño crema, which gives quite a kick.
