On a Sunday run through the 10 mile Ann and Roy Butler Trail loop, I parked near Noble Joe Coffee off Riverside to immediately fuel my body with coffee after a long run. There was a pretty measurable line outside the food truck, and I was worried the coffee might be overhyped based on how long the line was. After ordering a hot version of their Honey Lavender Oat Latte, I think they are owed an apology from me. I will always talk about the importance of balancing the espresso, syrups, and milk in a latte, and Noble Joe does it better than most brick and mortar coffee shops I have been to in Austin. It is significantly flavorful while still being espresso forward. I was genuinely impressed, which is hard to do after being the wreck I was post run. If you are on the trail, it is worth the detour. I've recently been on a personal mission to find my favorite coffee in ATX as I am a huge coffee lover and drinker! I live quite north so Noble Joes was a bit of a drive for me and honestly it's good coffee but a bit overhyped in my opinion. I bought two lattes - the seasonal blackberry crumble ($7) and the sugar cookie latte ($6), and although both had a good flavor, they both had all of the brown sugar that was supposed to be in them undissolved on the bottom and as best as I tried to dissolve it with the straw given, I had to wait until I was home (about 30 mins) to get a spoon to dissolve it. Personally I liked the sugar cookie latte the best! I would probably rate the coffee overall as a 7.5/10- definitely worth trying at least once! Service- 10/10 the baristas were very pleasant! Coffee flavor was smooth, non acidic - no fruity tones which is exactly how coffee should be. I will say the flavored drinks aren't as potent as I'd like. I'm honestly torn writing this review because our experience at Noble Joe was split between amazing and just okay. The first day we visited, the service was incredible. Staff was warm, friendly, personalized and our drinks were delicious. The chaggacino and the matcha both tasted like treats, the kind of drinks that make you slow down because you don't want it to be over. We loved them so much we knew we had to come back the next day. When we returned, it was noticeably busier, which was totally understandable, and we ordered the exact same drinks. But the chaggacino tasted completely different ): It was watery and lacking the richness that made us love it the first time. The matcha was still good, but even that tasted noticeably different from the day before. I don't want this to come off as overly negative because the staff was kind on both visits, and our first experience truly was fantastic. I just wish the drinks were a bit more consistent, because when they're good, they're really good. I'd still recommend trying it, just hoping our first-day experience becomes the norm. read more

Y'all why was the line so long at 9:30 in the morning anyways I was committed so I stayed and waited nearly an hour. It's located in a food truck circle and there's a decent amount of seating + some shade. I asked the barista for a latte on the sweeter side and she recommended their strawberry vanilla latte from their summer seasonal menu. Once you've placed the order they're relatively quick. Coffee is smooth, good quality and there were obviously hints of the syrup but it wasn't as sweet as I was expecting. Good coffee, long wait- if I'm back it's going to be on a weekday. read more

I finally got to try Noble Joe coffee after weeks of waiting. The line is always wrapped around the place. I ordered a chai latte. When the woman who checked me out warned me that their chai lattes are "spicy", I was excited. Unfortunately, this drink is far from that. I got a cup of whole milk with a splash of chai... this was extremely disappointing. I had to go home and add my own chai powder. The only reason I'm giving this review 2 stars is because the ladies working there are very nice. Their other drinks are probably great, I just wouldn't recommend the chai. read more

Noble Joe's is my absolute favorite spot to grab my morning cup of caffeine. I unfortunately no longer enjoy the taste of coffee (post-COVID ridiculousness) but they pretty much have the best matcha in town. Sure they may have a long line on the weekends, but it's well worth it. They have a rotating seasonal menu, which I tend to order from. Lately, I've been obsessed with their blackberry matcha and I dread the day they rotate it out. However, their Noble Matcha is a staple and absolutely delicious - this includes a delicious lavender that I'm certain they make in house. It's a truck, so all of the seating is outdoor but there's plenty of shade. It's also located right next to the trail, so it's always nice to grab a cup and go for a walk by the lake. It's also positioned right next to a brunch truck (Brunch Brunch Baby) which is a killer combo on a Sunday morning. The staff makes it a point to remember your name. There was a bit of a line, it's mostly shaded though and tons of sitting if someone in your party can't stand that long. There's a cute dog park in the same lot. A lot of people had their dogs. The breakfast tacos were sold out unfortunately. I got the cold brew which is from Civil Goat. Which I still want to try that shop too. The Cold Brew was really good and refreshing. I don't like super acidic or sour cold brews. This one is perfect. My husband got the iced americano. Also really refreshing. Parking is a little tricky.
