Since my dogs were on maintenance and not out of control, I was under the clear impression the total would be no more than $130 for both dogs. Instead, I was shocked to be charged $230, which was more than the first visit, and made absolutely no sense. To make matters worse, my larger dog's toenails were not even cut, which is part of a basic grooming service. When I reached out a couple of days later to question the charge and request the nail trim, I was given multiple excuses. One of them was that if she cut his nails, she would make him bleed, which was extremely concerning to hear from a professional groomer. When she eventually came back, the explanations for the higher charge kept changing -- first saying my dog wouldn't sit still, then that he's bigger, and lastly claiming he peed on the table. None of this justifies the sudden and unexplained price increase. This experience felt unprofessional, inconsistent, and unfair. Pricing should be transparent, not made up after the fact with excuses. Overall, this was very disappointing, and I will not be using or recommending this groomer again.

I appreciate that they make sure the dogs that go there are up to date on their rabies vaccines, etc. When I got there, I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and clean the facility looked. They also gate off some dogs from each other if some of them are more aggressive or not socialized, or if your dog is scared of other dogs. The whole dropoff process was seamless and quick. The appointment took about 3 hours and they called/texted me when my dog was ready. My dog came back looking super cute and clean! They did an overall good job with her haircut, not the best but decent enough! I felt that the price was fair/average. I also appreciated the advice she gave me in recommending a probiotic I can buy online to help with my dog's itching and constant licking. I bought it and it's actually working! I didn't get a square when I asked for a circular face. I don't see random tufts of hair that got missed by the clipper blade. She only took a glance at the reference photo I gave and then she just made magic and made it look 10x better. She also genuinely cares for the dogs and handles them with care. Her little daycare pen also looks so cute. The smell of her store is not musky or has that strong dog odor smell which is honestly a big plus. We are definitely coming back, and I'm excited to say we may have finally found a local groomer that we can keep coming back to.

One thing that sets Satomi apart is that she lets the dogs roam free before and after their grooming session instead of keeping them in a kennel like most groomers do. This makes a huge difference for my dogs, and I can tell they're more relaxed as a result. Satomi's scissor cut technique is incredible--it keeps my dogs calm since they don't like the loud buzzers, and their haircuts always turn out beautifully. She also uses organic shampoos, which has been amazing for my dogs' allergies. Their skin stays healthy and irritation-free, which is such a relief. Some didn't service cats, others only a physical location and a few just extremely high priced. I thought mobile would be better and it was! I have mobility issues and my boy weighs close to 30 pounds. Rene responded with very reasonable pricing, gave me a date and time and said we come to you. He fit me in for an urgent appointment. He made me feel comfortable and confident that he has experience grooming cats. He was very communicative up to the minute he arrived at my house. He actually arrived earlier than expected, which was perfect for us. He's such a friendly man, gentle with pets, just AMAZING! He took him to his van, 15 minutes later he was done and my boy is as happy as a clam. I've been spending time trying to help him clean with wipes and dawn dish soap but he's got very long fur. Rene even got some of the mats out that were on his belly. It was great to see my boy returned and not traumatized. He kept coming back over to the door to "thank Rene". I'm new to LB and was looking for a groomer whom we can create a relationship with. And who my cats trust and like also (I have 3 cats, 2 girls and one boy).
