I can't believe it took me this long to write a review, this is long overdue. First of all, I love a mobile groomer, it makes my life so much easier with three dogs, and a baby at home. Lupe (the owner) specifically is incredibly good at her job and an all-around wonderful person as well. You can tell she truly cares about all the animals and she has great attention to detail. She works on my three dogs and they always come back smelling so fresh and clean, feeling so so soft, and my one dog with long hair always has the cutest trim. She also has been instrumental in helping one of my dogs who is very itchy, feel a lot better due her recommendation of a particular anti-fungal wash that even the vet didn't think to recommend, but has helped tremendously. I had such an amazing experience with Lathered Pup Mobile Grooming. A few weeks ago, I decided to direct message Latheredpup on Instagram and within minutes, I was able to book an appointment for Bruno's first groom. The day of the grooming, Lupe showed up earlier than scheduled and was very professional. At first, I was afraid that my puppy was not prepared for a groom since he is only 7 months old. However, my puppy warmed up to her and began to lick her nonstop (which is pretty rare). For starters, Lupe's mobile is beautifully organized and cleaned. Looking in from the outside, Lupe kept her mask on the entire time and treated my puppy with the utmost respect. As a customer, you can tell when someone doesn't enjoy what they do but at no moment did I feel as if Lupe did not enjoy my puppy's presence. She is very knowledgeable, courteous and patient. She works well with all kinds of dogs and sizes and I am glad Bruno got his first groom by her! Towards the end of the groom, I couldn't help but notice how amazing Bruno smelled. Uncaring, unloving, and incompetent groomer. She pulled our dog aggressively with the leash. Cut our dogs butt, upper back and tail without our consent. My dog is a Spitz, a knowledgeable groomer should know this, and should ask owners first before they cut or do something to any dogs. She calls our dog fat, heavy and a lot of work. We say something she interrupts and do not listen. We feel very uncomfortable and will not trust our precious dog with her incompetence and aggressiveness. We cancelled all appointments.
