    Croqueta preparada

Finally, a place in Ocala with good Cuban food. The restaurant is currently expanding the dining area, which is much needed. We went during lunch time so there were a number of people there. The menu could use a few more items like mariquitas! All in all, a pretty good selection of food. We ordered the steak sandwich and a croqueta preparada. Both were very good and well presented. I'd you want pastelitos you better arrive early. We managed to grab the last guava and it was only noon. There is ample parking and it's easy to get in and out. Would definitely return.

My names Fox E, and Boba is my BAE And so is Barbie, by the WAY When I start rapping, I always SLEIGH Especially when it's nearly Xmas DAY So I've got some great food for you TODAY Comes from a place spelled C-U-B-A It's better than "Crazy In Love" was for BEY Come and try Latin American CAFE! More rapping later. My notes said: "Pretty damn delicious food and decent service close to closing" They used to only sell Marzipan here. It was called "Latin: A Marzipan Cafe." Ocala hasn't been exactly the epicenter of good experiences for me, in fact it was one of my worst days in Florida, from the traffic to the mediocre food, to the gym experience (don't read that one on a weak stomach), but there was one glowing highlight and it was this delicious Cuban place, out of the way and well worth the detour. They used to only allow Cubans in here, Americans were banned. But now they "Let in Americans Cafe." Service isn't amazing here, but I was happy that they gave me food not too long before closing time, because that's all I really wanted at the end of the day (literally). Their restrooms used to be party central. Always a live band in the can, crazy right? It was called "Latin A-Merry-Can Cafe." And the Cuban food they gave me was nothing short of delicious. It was the first Cuban food I had in Florida out of about 30 different Cuban meals (yes I ate probably 30 cuban things in 2 weeks, don't judge), so it was pretty exciting for me to get kickstarted on the Cuban wagon and it was very delicious, and ended up being way better than several of the subsequent things from other places, for that matter. They used to only sell Seafood. It was called "Latin: A Maritime Cafe." I haven't had all of the top ones in Tampa and Miami yet, although I've undeniably had some of them and still have more to find and try, but I can say that while this isn't the number one Cuban food in all of Florida, it's so good that if it were in Tampa or Miami it would be right at home, and still worth trying. You can't give Cuban food in Florida a higher compliment than that, and this is easily five star delicious food. They used to be more selfish and diabolical though. It was called "Latin - A Machiavellian Cafe." Besides, it's so far and above anything else in Ocala out of what I've tried so far, that I almost feel bad that it's here. Ocala, enjoy this. It's a gem. If you like my songz, then pull up a TRAY I'll sing while we order food to STAY It'll make you stick around like Bey with JAY So good you won't even save some for the STRAY The rice is all Yellow just like COLDPLAY The food could save your life just like THE FRAY These meals will give you perfect curves like KIM K So come and try Latin American CAFE! YAY!

Called ahead & was ready when arrived. Quick jump off interstate to satisfy craving for a Cubano & was not disappointed! Good amount of meat & perfectly pressed. Yellow rice was moist & flavorful. Plantains were soft, sweet & perfectly cooked. They are expanding their dining room & will definitely be back when I can dine in & try other dishes.

Made a pit stop on my road trip, was craving some Cuban food, and they delivered! I arrived close to closing and the food was up to par. Excellent Cuban sandwich, got some rice, beans, plantains, and cafe con leche. Would recommend if you're in the area.

Picadillo is excellent! As good as any Cuban Restaurant in Miami

Stopped by District Bar and Kitchen for a late lunch/early dinner on a beautiful spring day…read more The temperature outside was pleasant and so my dining companion and I opted for lunch on their patio. We were on their bottom floor patio (which was lovely) but I did spy that they have a rooftop patio as well (what's not to love?!?). Everything from the food to the cocktails to the service was exemplary. For my cocktail I got their Old Colonel's Smoking Gun which was their twist on an old fashioned and was delightful. For my entree, I got their salmon entree. It's glazed and comes with a size of their crispy brussels and cheesy grits. The brussels were delish and their cheesy grits rank among some of the best I've had with sharp cheddar giving them the perfect flavor kick. The atmosphere was so pleasant. It's definitely the sort of spot you'll feel tempted to linger. Get to it!

Server recommended the Double Smash Burger a favorite among the locals who frequent, so I went with that and added truffle fries as my side. My wife ordered the brunch special Super French Toast. I wanted to try The Fiery Chef since I've read the reviews and I had seen that they deliver. The food looks simply amazing as well. What is great about The Fiery Chef is that he cooks and bakes the Classic American diet but he has plenty for keto, paleo, whole30, Flex, Gluten Free, Vegan, Meals and well desserts of these nature too ! Plus they do catering and have bulk options available for you. For me this speaks to me and says yes I want your business and the fact that they know what they are doing is incredible. When my friend was over she had said that she and her boyfriend often get meals from here given their busy work schedule and that everyone is phenomenal. I looked up the menu just out of curiosity and when I needed a couple of desserts I said let's just see what we think and go from here and my these do not disappoint! After these pictures were taken a couple of hours later they were both gone! I'm thinking Christmas my dinner may be from The Fiery Chef if the kids are coming here because yum and I love how they do things here! They sure do know how to accommodate !
