My husband, our daughter and myself ate here on September 27th and it was fantastic! It was our second visit and I was craving a specific drink they offer, a Japanese Old Fashioned. It didn't disappoint. The appetizer and all of our dishes were incredible. The restaurant is just so cute and staff are pretty observant and attentive. After dinner, we headed upstairs to the rooftop for a bit. The atmosphere is completely different and the views are fun! Highly recommend!

My husband made reservations for 2 to celebrate my birthday over the weekend. We had no issues with parking. There was plenty in the back of the building. Upon entering we were greeted and taken into the dinning room to be seated. The ambiance was very pleasant and the service was 5 stars! We started out with appetizers. We ordered the Pastel de Cangrejo, oysters and received some bread while we waited. The Pastel de Cangrejo (crab cake) was delicious! The Mango habanero sauce was so good. For our entree, I went with the Scottish Salmon and my husband ordered the Barrel Filet. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection, exactly how he wanted. The salmon was cooked well and I enjoyed it. The portion was huge and I ended up taking most of it home. On top of the incredible food, our server was amazing. I look forward to warmer weather so I can come back to enjoy the rooftop.

I hate to give a 4 because our server was very sweet, but good gracious. I've been here before but never on the rooftop. It's hot up there, duh, summer in Georgia and all... but a working fan would have been awesome. We went during brunch on a Sunday, I prefer their regular menu but our party of 6 did enjoy SOME of our food. The French toast was burned on one side, some modifications weren't made... I guess I hyped myself up for this visit and it just wasn't it for me.

We had a great meal here. We had the Shrimp pasta, pork chop, and Parrillada Mixta. Everything was exceptional!! Omar was our waiter and he did a great job. We will definitely be back here!!!!

While considering a new home purchase in the area, my 21 year old son asked if we could go someplace nice for lunch, which totally excited me! You see, most of his life he's been a lover of your typical kid foods: Burgers, mac n' cheese, pizza, pizza rolls, chicken nuggets... you get the idea. I have been curiously waiting to see when he would begin his transition into his adult food palate and I felt like today was my shot to push him up a few grades! Granted, Latin Flavors might have been reaching a little too high, but the rooftop bar (known as THE VIEW) provides some of the Latin Flavor menu items in a more relaxed, casual environment. Georgia has been experiencing a severe heat wave, but we found a corner of the bar that provided great shade on a very windy day. Our menus and cups blew away twice (LOL)! Still, it was an absolutely perfect Saturday evening as we arrived right around 6pm. I only wish we had more time to stay because a live band was scheduled to begin playing @ 7:30. [ THE FOOD ] I took the recommendation of both the bartender and the band leader and ordered the TALLARIN VERDE con CARNE, which is grilled steak, queso fresco and spaghetti pasta tossed in pesto cream sauce. Just the word pesto caused me to hesitate, but I decided to take a chance. I can only describe this dish with one word, two if you count the F-word I wanna say... (Freakin') INCREDIBLE (5++ stars)!!!! Hands down this may be the title winner of my favorite food find of the year! My son had the EMPANADAS MIXTAS (5-stars): braised beef, chicken, corn and cheese, and shrimp and cheese while my wife ordered her typical rabbit food, a salad! We also ordered the JALEA de MARISCOS (5-stars) to share, an appetizer which consists of fried calamari, rock shrimp, fish, and yuca with salsa criolla aji Amarillo sauce. Our PIÑA COLADAS and GIN N' JUICE were also 5-star, made by their awesome all female bartender staff on this particular day. [ FINAL THOUGHTS ] The best compliment I can give Latin Flavor's is what my son said while we were eating as he looked around at the view, the cruise ship-like atmosphere and the food. He said verbatim: "When I asked if we could go someplace nice I didn't know what I wanted until I saw it. This is EXACTLY what I wanted!" Thank you Latin Flavors management & staff. It was an incredible visit we hope to duplicate again soon! 2022 / 99

I don't frequent steak houses very often but last year I visited @latinflavorssteakhouse in Winder and quickly decided "this is my favorite steakhouse" Their flavors and steaks are simply the best in my humble opinion. I decided to take my dad for a good steak on his 65th birthday and given the fact that he had never had a TOMAHAWK STEAK, I decided this year was the year, so I took him out to Latin Flavors. He ordered a monstrousity that was 48oz and not only did he eat it all... He also ate the mushroom and sausage appetizer as well (shared with me). He could not believe the size of this thing and said it was the best steak he has ever had. The other pictures are from previous visits. They have good appetizers, good entrees and good desserts This place will cost you a few coins but if you love steak and have a special occasion coming up, Latin Flavors should definitely be on your list to check out. I mean... I HATE mushrooms and that mushroom appetizer (the one that looks like a pizza) was somehow delicious Go get your steak on, you deserve it!! #rolieats #goodeats #birthday #birthdaydinner #dadbirthday #steak #latinfood #latinflavors #winder #tomahawksteak #beststeak #wewerefull #dontjudgeus

the food and drinks are amazing! I am picky with steak and their steak is truly better than any steak I have had at any american steakhouse. The atmosphere is awesome and the staff are so friendly, highly recommend! We have eaten only in the main restaurant, but I am sure their other two areas are great too.

Best espresso cream brûlée was amazing!!! Best ever and chocolate molten cake very tasty!

Always love coming here! Brought my son and daughter-in-law from Florida and most of the meal was great! My Barrel filet was amazing! Two of us had short ribs and they were tender and great. My sons variety plate was little disappointing. His Latin sausage was very dry and not hot, the chicken was cold and dry, but the steak and lamb was good! Our empanadas were tasty but not very hot! We ordered the chocolate molten cake and was hot and delicious! The Star of the meal was the espresso cream brûlée WAS OUTSTANDING! Will get it again! Nice place for special occasion or just a great steak!

The best thing about this restaurant is the seating environment! Not only do they have a great indoor seating area, they also have a beautiful rooftop bar with a great view of Winder. It often has live music and a very happy mood. The food isn't necessarily the best I've had, but it's still great overall, especially for a small town. I would highly recommend this restaurant in Winder for anyone wanting an exciting weekend experience!

My husband enjoyed his steak (Kansas City style), and I had the Wagyu, which was my favorite part of the meal. The fries were just okay -- nothing special, pretty average. The bakery items were delicious, but the cake wasn't homemade, which was disappointing. My husband liked the bread pudding. We didn't order cocktails or wine, just water. For the price, the overall experience didn't fully meet expectations. After reading other reviews, I see we're not the only ones who feel the taste and experience don't quite match the higher price point, so I stand by my review. There are other steakhouses in Buford and the surrounding area where you can get a great steak, apps, and dessert without spending as much. All in all, it was a decent experience, and I'd try it again in the main dining area for a more elevated feel -- but we're not rushing back.

As soon as you step through the doors into the corridor, it's like you're transported into the big city. It has an old Hollywood feel with gorgeous modern crystal light fixtures, the natural charm of wood paneling, and beautiful marble columns. A fully stocked bar sits behind the barista; I could only imagine the hustle and bustle of the restaurant at night as he took our order. And the wine vault is a true spectacle to behold: imagine a bank vault filled to the absolute brim full of the most delicious wine! We will have to go back for dinner for sure! Anyway, I'm veering off course! The man behind the counter was so friendly, and we ended up sharing a mutual love for carrot cake! I ordered a Dirty Chai Tea Latte, a carrot cake muffin, and a lemon poppyseed scone because when in Rome right?! The carrot cake muffin was pretty much the stuff of dreams. It tasted rich and delicious while still not being overly sweet. The lemon poppyseed was good, but I had trouble finding the lemon flavor. The dirty chai was absolute perfection though. The perfect balance of coffee with the slight sweetness of the chai. Plus it looked beautiful when it came out major bonus points! As you all know, the most important thing I look for when choosing a restaurant to eat at is its health score, and this place nails it because it currently has a 100 A! If you have a chance to visit the cafe, please do. You will not be disappointed. The service is top notch, and the food and drinks are delish! We will definitely be visiting during restaurant hours soon, and I'll make sure to update with my review! In the meantime, if you see me noshing on a pastry there, feel free to say hello!

We sat down to a "Cajun night" menu to which I inquired if that's like a weekly thing or what and was explained that they will occasionally do various themes and recently had done Italian. They had Cajun music playing and a full Cajun menu, it felt like we were in Louisiana which I am very familiar with, I have roots there. I think having themed nights is a very clever way to bring a variety of fine dining options to a small town that doesn't have a lot of restaurant options. Fully support! Love the concept! Having had frog legs before I didn't feel the need to explore again so didn't choose those. I instead opted for some more cozy comforts such as the Crawfish étouffée and Duck Andouille Gumbo. Both were delicious, my only gripe would be the presentation was quite lacking. Traditionally, for either of those dishes, the rice is served from a cup as a topper, not the gumbo or étouffée spooned atop the rice. But the flavor hit it out of the park. Hubby ordered the Blackened Redfish and this is where the chef's talents shine. This was the winning dish of the evening. Hubby hates okra, I love it, and I'd never had it grilled before though and I'll be using that cooking technique in the future, especially since hubby actually likes okra finally. But I don't want to focus on okra for a fish dish. The blackened redfish was so well seasoned and perfectly flaky, the pinto beans had great flavor as well. We finished our meal out with the beignets and coffees (hubby espresso and me a latte) which paired perfectly with the beignets. We ate them politely with the fork and knife provided though if you ain't covered in powdered sugar or accidentally proofing powdered sugar across the table when you take a bite are you even doing it right? ;) but they were delicious, everything was. Again the only suggestion I have is to consider presentation. The dishes looked a bit bland for the amount of flavor they packed. A slice of that grilled okra on top of my Gumbo or just anything simple would've gone a long way. Overall I'll give 5 stars. I have no complaints. The restaurant's vibe and decor are great, service was great, food was delicious. We had a great night!

Top 10 Meal of Our Lives!…read more We just had dinner at The Bistro on Broad in Winder, and it absolutely blew us away. We're no strangers to good food--we're certified foodies--and this meal easily cracked the top 10 meals of our lives. We started with the pimento cheese and gnocchi to share, and both were downright insane in the best way. Creamy, rich, balanced--like Southern comfort and fine dining had a baby. For entrées, we ordered the shrimp & grits and the Campanella with beef ragout... and then proceeded to eat off each other's plates all night because we genuinely couldn't decide which one we liked better. The shrimp & grits were smoky, buttery perfection, and the ragout was slow-cooked, soul-warming magic. Dessert? Blueberry cobbler and chocolate bread pudding. We were already full, but we pushed through like champions. Both were ridiculously good--the kind of good that makes you consider licking the plate. And major shoutout to Bree, our server--she was absolutely wonderful. Friendly, attentive, and spot-on with every recommendation. She made the experience even better. Everything from the food to the atmosphere to the service was top notch. Winder is lucky to have this gem. If you haven't been yet--go. And bring stretchy pants.
