Thumbs Up!!! We like! Adorable little restaurant, what an awesome addition to the Winder area. We ordered the rice bowls and a burrito. YUM!!!! Make sure you get the garlic and cilantro sauce, and also the social sauce is pretty good, it has a different little flare almost like soy sauce with a little spice so if you're looking for something different, you should definitely try that. I also ordered a guava Mojito, it was really good, but could've used a little bit more mint. Service was awesome, I didn't get his name, but he has really great tattoos. We ordered the Chilaquiles Verde and kinda shared that among the table, highly recommend! We also got all kinds of tacos; pastor, asada, pulpo zarandeo (which deserves an honorable mention as octopus is notoriously cooked wrong and therefore chewy but this was perfectly grilled!), shrimp, chorizo, and birria, and the refried beans. This was my first time visiting Tacos N Social. My friends & I were at the coffee shop next door, when we walked by, the music and colorful decor set such an inviting, fun vibe. We were seated by the manager. He was incredibly attentive, and thoughtful. He absolutely contributed to the positive experience we had. He brought us a complimentary slice of tres leches cake, which was the best I've ever had. I'm very picky with tres leches due to how watery some people make it. But this was 10/10. As for the food, I ordered the shrimp taco and chicken taco. The chicken taco on its own would've been a little dry, but the jalapeño salsa it came with was perfect. The shrimp taco came with pickled onions and a garlic salsa, and it was absolutely delicious (though I personally would've loved a little more pickled onion, but that's just preference). My friend tried the birria taco, and while the meat itself was tender and juicy, it didn't come with consome or cheese like the birria tacos we're used to. She said it felt like something was missing, but still enjoyed the flavor. The manager also informed us they have live music on Saturdays. For us this was good to know, considering Winder fun is very limited. I highly recommend stopping by. Me and my friends will all be returning soon to see what else they have to offer. read more

Food was great salmon was cooked just right and great value. Service is always very good. We sat in the patio so we could bring our dogs worked out great. My only complaint is I asked them if they use actual real cheddar cheese on their nachos, the server said they use to but people complained, so they went back to the liquid cheese crap you get at a baseball game. Not the restaurants fault but perhaps you could have the option for people who enjoy real Mexican food. read more

Chose this place on a Saturday afternoon for a girls lunch with my sister and was not disappointed! Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by our server Luca, who is the son of the owner we learner, which made us even more happy that we were supporting a family business!! The ambience was everything. Vintage posters covered the walls and it really made you feel like you were out the country. That's the vibe I like when I go out! Service was great and although we were hungry, the wait for the food was no match for the taste! Seasoned to perfection and beautifully presented. They had a stand outside the restaurant for the festival/event going on mar 14th, I'd never been there yet so I wanted to try it out. I got two margaritas and two tacos. Margaritas were in a cup half the size of a red solo, it was a good amount so not complaining about that, no salt rim but whatever I guess. The tacos were literally just steak and a mini taco shell and the cost? 40$....... Yeah I'm never going there again. I was tempted to be like uhmmmm are you sure that's right??? The food was good but I expected tortillas with my $24 dollar carne asada plate, but did not come with it. I asked for chips it was a separate charge and that's fine but no salsa !!!! I'm suppose to just eat dry chips!! There are a few things that need to come with the food but apparently not at this restaurant. My server was nice but not attentive and brings me the credit machine to pay and I had to ask for the bill first I like to see what I'm paying for. The service needs help. I have been here 3 times and it is the same so now I am leaving a review. Maybe since every employee is on their phone, they will see this. Myself and everyone I know that have gone here say the service is lacking. You get seated and look around and all of the employees are talking to each other behind the bar. The food is good not great, I like the bowl. This is really one of the few options here now. I hate that poor service is consistent. We were one of 3 tables in the place last time and I asked for a beer when I was seated and got it after my food.
