Every bite felt rich and satisfying. The only downside was that it was slightly oily, but otherwise it was delicious. The second time, I tried an Arepa, which is one of the most classic Venezuelan street foods. I ordered the Cabimera de Carne Asada, and it was packed with fillings. From the top, it almost looked like a mountain of sauce, hiding layers of grilled beef strips, fresh salad, and the grilled corn arepa underneath. Their Tequeños (fried cheese sticks) were also really good -- crispy on the outside, cheesy and stretchy on the inside, with a rich savory flavor.
