This Latin Grill reminds me of great Spanish food from back home in NJ . The service was 5 stars all around , ambiance was amazing feeling , they also have Latin nights on Thursdays , if your into Spanish music great food and drinks this is a perfect first date to go to you'll love it . My brother introduced me to this spot and I love it! It's a small Latin restaurant but the food, drinks and staff are amazing. They have a wide selection of menu options from chicken, seafood, pork and beef. I love their menus are electronic. I have gotten the mahi mahi which was delicious. I have had the same server both times. I believe his name is Louis. He does an excellent job and is very attentive. Now for the main attraction, the drinks. If you love fruity drinks like me this is a great spot! You can get margaritas, mojitos and caprihinas drinks with flavors like pineapple ginger, mango, passion fruit and more. My favorite so far is the passion fruit caprihina. So yummy! They also have a weekday happy hour that I believe is from 3 to 6:30. They also have live music on select nights. Almost the same as Bahame Brz chain but really substantial. Honestly, This could have been our meal... Then, rhe Churrasco was a little tough... but I know its a gamble, the seasoning was so exlent that I didnt add any of the chimichurri. Wife ordered a cuban sandwich which was plenty for 2 meals. Ordered a latin beer at a reasonable price too. The management has really changed my mind about their place. Great food, fast service. The staff is very friendly. Quick seating for a weekend between the 9am-10am hour. Once seated my drink order was taken and the server brought over toasted pressed buttered cuban bread with a guava spread. I ordered the 2 egg breakfast with cuban toast. Everything was great. My wife and I really liked this place so we went back this Sunday at 5PM. The food is still VERY GOOD. I mean very tasty and well prepared. I like the new bar setup. This place becomes a night club on Friday and Saturday evenings. I know tons of people who love it. That said, something is going on... food portions are getting smaller and smaller. They even skipped that wonderful sliced Cuban bread (no bread, because of the storm i was told. Tostones? Yeah, but only 2 with your dinner. WHAAAT?? ... (let's be serious). Anyways, I do recommend this place.. but the favorite "churrasco" steak is now priced at $30 () so I'd say, stick to the pork or shrimp dishes. To the owner: this ain't fine dining (and we're not looking for fine dining either), but you're not the only Latin Food restaurant in town anymore; PLEASE stop skipping on the food before more people notice and we all start looking around. Truly disappointed! Place is NOT clean, appears run down. The restaurant states it is authentic food. However, the rice was chewy texture like the instant rice from a box. The steak we requested to be well done. Unfortunately well cooked meant served as hard meat. It saddens me to see other reviews express its a well kept place when that is NOT the case. I have also added a pic of the egg shells in our meal. The food was not authentic to us at all. I normally leave good reviews. However, this is info that I must share as the pricing for the food is not worth the dish served. I truly believe with honest reviews from real customers is a MUST. I do not recommend it. If you're looking for a place to "hit the spot" Latin Grill has got you! I ordered their take out and found a yummy spot that serves huge plates! I got the lechon (pork) with arroz con gri (rice and black beans cooked together) and a side of maduros (fried sweet plantains). I also got a side of yuca (boiled) and a flan. I don't do many of these cause there isn't much food I don't like. But if you are in the Brandon area, I'd stay as far away from the Latin Grill as possible. Not only was the food absolutely garbage, we literally threw everything away except for the toast because we were so hungry. That includes the large cafe con leche that was poured down the sink. The coffee tasted like mop water mixed with the smell of an old dog house. The tamale, I'm pretty positive was extremely old as it felt slimey and had a rancid smell and taste like it was soaked in lime, and then thrown in with some rotten tomatoes and then served. The sandwiches chicken was cooked to the point of having no real chicken flavor other than being compared to a really gross chicken bouillon spice. The sauce? What was that? Is the food even tasted before going out? The boliche was a disgrace like it was frozen for a few months before heating and serving. The picadillo?? How can you mess up picadillo? It doesn't even have to look good to taste ok. This was like the cheapest hamburger meat was chosen to cook with and then dropped on the floor before serving. Yeah, I won't be back. Not only was the food absolutely disgusting, you can tell there is absolutely no pride taken in preparing this food. I don't eat fast food, but I would've eaten that all day before this subpar version of Latin food. read more

We've been returning to The Latin Grill for years. It's not fancy or upscale by any means, but the food is delicious. Why we like it: the food is authentic, portions are generous, food is served quickly and very reasonably priced. Room for improvement: the music selection can be interesting. When we walked in today there was techno music playing rather loudly. Half way through lunch mid-song they changed it to a more salsa style. Also, the hostess doesn't speak English well and service can be a little slow. Our waitress was busting her butt this afternoon, perhaps because they're short staffed. All in all I will continue recommending this place to family and friends. We've never had a bad experience here. read more

While me and the wife were visiting the area we came across this restaurant accidentally. We went to Stein and Vine down the street and after sitting around for 10 minutes without even receiving water we left. We were heading back to the hotel and seen Latin Grlll. The Latin Grill has been a place my family and I have frequented for a very long time. We mostly come here for breakfast, because we love to eat the breakfast sandwiches (egg, cheese, and bacon) and have some café con leche. The cuban bread and coffee is fantastic. The energy/vibe here is great, too. The waitress/waiters have always been very nice and are easy to grab the attention of if we needed something. We often use the covered outdoor sitting option, because of the current pandemic. We appreciate that they have made this option for those that want to social distance.
