Went early morning to avoid the foot traffic from what I've seen in comments. Very peaceful environment with some calm music and fast service. Workers were very attentive and asked multiple times if everything was fine. Food was good quality, reminded me of Puerto Rico bakeries (you can ask to warm the quesito, but I wasn't aware till after purchase. Personally I don't have a preference). Only complaint is not knowing till after paying that the food has an up charge if paying with card (by a couple cents every item).

We are in the mood to get some breakfast food, but we were tired of going to the same ones in Winter Springs and Casselberry. I looked up this place on Yelp and it had great reviews, so we decided to try it out. Latin Sisters Café is located in the Lake Mary kind of downtown area, right across from City Hall and next to a barbershop so it's very easy to miss. Once you get inside the ambiance makes you think you're somewhere else. I loved that they had wooded tables, and nice music playing. You can tell that they take pride in their food as the person taking our order described their reasoning for opening location and the type of food that they serve. Food is brought to your table, and there is very limited seating, but there's also some seating outside as well, a lot of the food is prepared right away. They have an extensive variety of coffee products to try as well. I got an iced coffee and they offered to add more sugar, but I do like my iced coffee on the bitter side so I was OK with that. The breakfast we ordered was exactly the same. The only difference is I opted to have the vegetables added to my eggs and my boyfriend decided to not have them. They did need a little seasoning, but the one thing that stole the show on the entire plate is their toast. I have no idea what kind of bread they use or how they make it but when I say we inhaled the toast and we also talked about it about five hours later lol. We will definitely be back however, we will make sure to let them know that we do like to have a little seasoning added to our food.

Came here from a lil quick brunch and to support and try my fellow local Latin spots around town. I can only speak for the cubano that I ate, which was fantastic btw and by the looks of it on previous reviews everything on the menu looks worthy of trying. I loved how the Cuban was toasted and perfect mayo to mustard ratio. That always hits the spot for me and seals the deal. It also was very filling, I was full with half so it was nice taking the left overs home. The quesitos look very freshly baked too. My cafe con leche was really foamy and nice and hot just like it should be. Staff is definitely on top of their business and it shows with the food and atmosphere. Keep it up. Pretty lil hidden underrated spots are the the thing!

A hidden GEM in Lake Mary just hits the spot. It's nestled in between a barber shop and a corner wedding store I believe. Perfect place to sit outside and watch the cars or birds fly lol. You also have the option to sit inside and smell the yummy wonders. my usual go to is the scrambled eggs with onions, bacon, red peppers with a side of tater tots and hot buttery bread. The food is delicious and never lack flavor. If you're in the area especially on a Saturday for the farmer's market.. definitely give this spot a try!!

They served me oatmeal with chewing gum and then were rude when I told them. DISGUSTING! THEY ARE RUDE and UNPROFFESIONAL.

I bought a breakfast at the Latin Sisters Cafe which included an oatmeal with fruit. I brought it home and when I put a spoonful of oatmeal, I tasted something minty. I spit it out to find that there was a chewed piece of gum. DISGUSTING!!! Since they close at 2pm I waited till the next day and spoke with 2 employees, one of which was Mayra Sanchez. They were extremely rude... They didn't even apologize. They said, "Well, what do you want me to do? We aren't allowed to chew gum, so it wasn't us!" There was no apology, they were rude and unprofessional. I do not recommend the Latin Sisters Cafe. They are disgusting and unprofessional.

They were out of half of what we asked for and served us cold food despite us being the only customers in there. This last visit, my friend and I came at 11:30 on a Saturday. There were maybe 7 tables occupied, so not what anyone would deem busy but it was pretty hectic. There was no one at the hostess stand so we eventually approached the cash register and asked if we could be seated. They cleared a table and we sat down with our menus (that we grabbed ourselves). We waited for about 10 minutes while the tables on either side of us were serviced before finally flagging the gentleman who we'd spoken to at the counter and asking if he was our waiter. He looked around and then shrugged and said "Yes, I guess so." He took our order (we asked for 1 entree, a coffee flight, and waters). We waited for another 20 minutes while watching tables that came in way after us receive coffee flights and multiple entrees-- meanwhile we hadn't even gotten our waters. We finally went up to the counter to ask for water and our flight-- they had given it to another table. 15 minutes longer and we finally got our flight, another 10 min and my entree finally arrived. I ordered eggs Benedict and though it was warm (unlike last time), the English muffin was smashed flat. I thought it was on pita bread. It made cutting into everything a real struggle, but it did taste good. All told, we didn't get out of there until a little after 1pm. Perhaps 30 min of that was spent actively consuming what we'd ordered and the rest was just waiting and trying to get a waiter's attention. This place is in desperate need of good management. They were not overly busy, especially for a Saturday, but you could just see that nothing was organized and there was no understood approach. The staff was dressed in regular clothes without name tags or anything discernible to identify them as staff. It made finding help confusing and awkward. For the prices they charge, your customers should never be left waiting for an hour and a half or fending for themselves to get something as simple as water.

Some days the lake is calm, crystal clear, and serene; on others, gentle waves ripple across its surface, adding to the charm of the view. Often, you'll spot an eagle's nest perched atop a nearby pole, and throughout the season, visitors have the special treat of watching the eagle family. You might also enjoy seeing the town's paddleboat or other vessels glide by. Keep an eye out for jumping fish, the occasional alligator, and even manatees that sometimes make an appearance in Lake Monroe. Step inside, and you'll find additional cozy seating. Owners Sherry and Felix consider it a privilege to serve the Sanford community through this lovely coffee shop. Their energetic and friendly staff are always ready with a warm welcome and expertly crafted coffee--often adorned with beautiful coffee art. The menu offers a variety of breakfast and lunch options, including the highly recommended made-to-order Eggy Breakfast Bagel, prepared with the freshest ingredients. Take a break from the busyness of life--step away from your phone, bring along a friend or family member, and spend a couple of relaxing hours enjoying the hospitality, delicious food, and stunning views that Caffé di Riverwalk has to offer.

It is very much the type of environment that calls for a sit down-even if a brief one. I noticed most folk sat in with their coffees/food/pastries. The service was friendly but sadly the espresso and steamed milk machines were broken during my visit meaning many coffee items were unavailable. Major bummer as I am an iced latte lover so I settled for a cold brew which was decent. I definitely would have preferred a latte so hopefully next time I'm in Sanford, all systems are go. I also ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich and requested the turkey option instead of regular bacon. I would have assumed the "turkey" option meant turkey bacon. To my surprise it was actually deli sliced turkey. While it wasn't overall unpleasant, I would have preferred turkey bacon given it is a breakfast sandwich. Would have given it that crispy element. But as stated, it was nice and a good size for the price tag. I didn't have room for any pasty, cake or pie but looking forward to trying next time as they all looked really yummy on the display case! If you are looking for a coffee or quick cafe stop in Sanford, this is a notch above the chains and worthy of a stop!

Well balanced flavors and textures. Our server Justin was very attentive and helpful the entire night. He helped us decide everything from drinks and appetizers to entrees and desserts. He was very knowledgeable, descriptive, and accurate on his recommendations. The ambiance is perfect for a date night, drinks with friends, or any event really. They have lots of tables, a large bar, and even a private area if you have the need for it. We got two mocktails because we were participating in dry January. I got the passion fruit Boat Drinks and my wife got the Hibiscus Nojito. Both drinks were really good! To start we got the French Onion soup and the Pig and the Bee flatbread. Both were really tasty. The French Onion soup was nicely balanced with the perfect amount of cheese on top. Next time we'll ask for more croutons. The flatbread was delicious!! It was the thinnest, crispiest flatbread I've ever had with the right amount of toppings. The salty and savory meats with the drizzle of hot honey was perfect. For entrees my wife got the Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Shrimp and I got the Staff Meal which happened to be a Chicken and Bacon carbonara...the gnocchi was incredible. The textures and flavors were amazing. The carbonara was really good too but the gnocchi stole the show. For dessert we got a latte and a cappuccino and got the Cherry Cobbler to go. I've never been to a place that serves a classic American farm breakfast without offering butter or preserves for the toast, and to make matters worse, the toast itself was burnt. He eventually brought the butter out cold and completely unspreadable. This is yet another mid-to-upscale wannabe restaurant that got the most important thing wrong. Save yourself the disappointment and skip this one. You'll thank me later.
