I went to the Breakfast Club on a Sunday morning. Usually if you arrive before 10 am, you don't have to wait. This specific Sunday, we had to wait, but it was only about 15 minutes and they have a bench to sit on outside. When we sat down, Lisa immediately came to our table. We ordered the banana crunch pancakes, omelettes and home fries. The banana pancakes have oats cooked into them, which adds a layer to the texture. For the potatoes, I recommend asking for them to be "seasoned," which gives them a delicious crispy-outer layer. Throughout our meal, Lisa provided great service! It's also very cheap. For pancakes, two omelettes and coffee, it was $25. read more

Happen to be over here for an eye appointment and we are always up for a new breakfast adventure! The breakfast club didn't disappoint. Really cute decorations and very reasonable prices. I had the breakfast skillet and hubs had biscuits and gravy. They make their own biscuits in house daily and even though I'm not much of a biscuit girl I had to try. The breakfast club was a nice spot for our group to eat breakfast during bike week. The menu was huge with so many offerings. They even offer mimosa 2/$9 and they didn't feel like you were just drinking juice. The server was super nice and patient with the large group, everything came as week ordered it and the wait wasn't very long considering. The dining room was on the small side but we sat on the screened in porch. It was smaller as well but we were able to be comfortable. A really cute little spot off of Lake Mary Blvd. It was really busy on a Monday morning and for good reason. The service and food here was great. Our server Rebecca was really nice and though busy, made sure we were taken care of at all times . I had the hungry man special which was your basic breakfast dish but my boyfriend had a scramble that was really good so I'll be trying that next. This was such a quaint diner. We had a great server who welcomed us and always kept our coffee cup filled. The restaurant has about 15 tables inside and tables outside in the patio area. It was steady around the time we went, about 8am. It's definitely one of those locations that have neighborhood regulars. They have your usual American breakfast offerings like corn beef hash, eggs benedict, and pancakes. The prices were decent for the food quality. It's a decent place for typical country cafe food. Don't expect anything different. You can fill up cheaper than most restaurants. The atmosphere is plain. Sit where you choose and the wait staff will take care of you fast and friendly. The turkey bacon was perfectly cooked and the poached eggs on the Florentine were tasty. The spinach should be fresh but it was frozen and had a weird taste. The tater tots were a bit too done and the biscuits were dry but edible with the nice sausage gravy. A coworker and I wanted to try something different for lunch so we stopped by the Breakfast Club see what they're all about. My wife and I used to come here for breakfast back when it was Appleton's, but I haven't been back here since they closed. I see there are some mixed reviews from other yelpers, I have to save this place is very popular regardless. We arrived around 11:30 a.m on a Tuesday and there was not a open seat to be found in the entire restaurant. We were greeted by one waitress and than a few minutes later a second waitress also greeted us then explained that a couple of seats at the bar should be opening up soon. About 5 minutes later we were able to grab two of the open seats at the bar. It seems like we were just getting in after the breakfast rush because guests started clearing out around noon. By the way this restaurant is only open from 7am to 2:30pm each day. Our server, Rebecca, was super sweet and took great care of us. I asked her for a few recommendations for lunch and out of the three she recommended I went with the black and blue burger medium rare ($9.95) and my coworker chose the Classic Cheeseburger ($8.99). Burgers come with lettuce, tomato, and onions and are served with French fries, it cost more to substitute fries with another item. Our burgers were perfectly cooked our fries were fresh and hot and we were both stuffed after eating our meal. Honestly it's getting harder to find a restaurant in this area that has breakfast and lunch offerings for under $10 but the Breakfast Club does it. Most meal items are priced $10 or less; however, they do offer a variety of items that cost more than $10 such as the 10oz T-bone steak ($19), Grilled Salmon ($15), Two piece Bone-in Fish ($18), Pork Chops ($13), and Cold platter ($12). The restaurant is small and the kitchen is tiny but somehow they managed to take care of their maximum capacity of 99 and then some during our time here today. Yes the interior could use a good wipe down and refresh in some areas but I have experienced much worse in fancier restaurants. The staff today, especially Rebecca, were great and managed to get us in and out in less than an hour and we didn't have to pay an arm and a leg to eat here. This visit, it was dirty, holes in the wall and dirt in the ladies bathroom, coffee was terrible- even let my server know and asked for a different cup, it was just as bad. Neither of us could drink it. Server was very unpersonable, rushed and dropped our food off and ran. No checkup. Ordered the spinach chicken mushroom omelet. It was extremely dry and made with all canned veggies. Toast was cold and hard. Excellent and very friendly service even right at opening. Our server, Michelle, was super attentive to our table and didn't leave us hanging for a moment. Food came out in a timely manner and was all served hot and fresh. The seasoned home fries were cooked very evenly with a nice crust to the outside, and the country-fried steak had a good, tender consistency with a very tasty sausage gravy over the top. Venue was clean and well-kept, and the menus were clear and easy to follow. Prices were very generous for the portion sizes, and was not left wanting for more, value-wise. This is a very unpretentious and popular local joint. It's only open for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is the best thing! Eggs, omelettes, pancakes, and waffles, and everything else for breakfast. I also love the lunches, and had the Cuban sandwich for a late breakfast. Yummy! Today was a holiday, and they were shortstaffed. Stopped in because we had not been in quite some time. We arrived shortly before 11am on a Sunday. Good crowd inside. For a party of two, we just missed being sat at a table inside to the gentleman who walked in right before us. So we opted for a table outside, on their covered 'porch'. The staff was a tad unsure of who was covering which section, but that seemed to iron out quickly and our waitress arrived to get our drink order with haste. Having scanned the guests upon entering, I noticed several did not have their meals before them, so we figured the kitchen was catching up on the recent rush. Not being in a hurry, the wait didn't matter much to us, aside from the strong, pungent, and unpleasant odor of cat spray that became apparent with each gust of breeze into our screened area. Our order was placed and it took about 30 minutes for her breakfast quesadilla and my cheeseburger special to arrive. The food was quite good. Our waitress must've had several patrons to assist, but she caught up to us when she could and performed well overall. I reckon we would return, but it will be some time again, as it was before. I recently dined at Breakfast Club and my expierence was a blend of high and lows. Let's just say I left the place so disappointed I'm not recommending them. At the beginning the host was great she told me it was a 10-15 min wait and if I had a preference due to them being short staffed I told her wherever is easier. They then called me telling me there was a seat outside. The server got our drinks and visited our table once in a blue moon. My husband and I asked for sugar for our coffee and she never brought it out till we were done with our coffee. There was a rather large group that the server had her main focus on and 3 dogs. Now I am aware that being outside I run that risk but I have to been to places and sat outside and didn't feel as if I was in a public park with kids running and dogs constantly barking. My quick meal felt like an eternity due to the expierence. The meal was decent there was a bug on my husband's eggs and the server gave me the wrong waffles but the server just kept walking by quick to even bring this to her attention. Stopped in with the wife for what we had hoped would be a great gome style breakfast. We were told it would be a 10 to 15 minute wait. It was just the 2 of us. 30 minutes later, after seeing several other showing up and just about walking in being seated, I asked again about our table. Was told they would be right with us. Someone came out and let the 2 couples that were also waiting they were going to get a smaller table because they had some regulars that just came in and needed a larger table. Finally, we were seated in the middle of the room. Our server made a point to let us know they were behind in the kitchen, and because they will be closing soon, it might be a 30+ minute wait for our order. My wife and I gave up and left. I guess riding in our 2 Harleys we just didn't fit in, and we felt very unwelcome there. Guess if we were regulars, we would have been able to get a table and service without any bs. We are incredibly disappointed and will never come here again. We ended up going to Peach Valley Cafe. Got a seat right away and had a great breakfast. Left a big tip too.
