Let me start by stay this. We have been to Apollo Beach twice and was have been to Latitudes. Our first time we had gotten in late and were only able to get their late night food which consisted of Giant Pretzels, Chip and Queso, Fried Pickles, Flat Breads, and Quesadillas. There were some other options but I can't remember. Them. I will say we were pretty pleased with everything we good and was prefect for late night. Our next visit we came for a more reasonable dinner hour of around 7:00PM. Our friends who we were visiting had made a name for themselves since last time we were here and the wait staff knew them and even the owners came up to say hi. I will say the menu is quite large and has plenty of drinks on it too. For my drink I started with and Old Fashioned that was very good. We also started with and order of wings too. The wings were some of the best I have ever had. Make sure to have them cooked extra crispy. They were even able to build me a custom sauce which was a mix of Garlic Parmesan and Hot.. I have you spicy garlic parm wings, so good. For my entrée I got the Grouper Sandwich Fried. You can also get it grilled or blackened. The sandwich was very good and had plenty of Grouper on it too. I will also say their fries were great. They are some of my favorite. I'm a big fan of double battered fries. I also had a bite of someone's chicken tender which was also also very good for sure made there. Great honey mustard too! So the next day guess what? We came back for brunch. We came in around 10:00am-10:20am and were welcomed by our waitress Kody who was amazing and hilarious. I will say we were the only ones there this early but it's and older crowd kind of area and I just they don't brunch. We started with bottomless mimosas which were only $5 amazing! Cody made sure to brig us fresh bottles when we started to get dry too. For my food I went with the chicken and waffles. I will say it was not as good as dinner but prices were very good. Would have preferred just the chicken tenders from the night before. They only do serve brunch till 1:00PM and you can only order order food off the brunch menu till until 12:00PM then the lunch menu becomes available too. So next time I'll get my mimosas and wait for lunch to start. Great dinner, bottomless, staff and owners. Will for sure be coming back next time we're in town. read more

How this place does not have 5 stars is beyond me, maybe the right staff wasn't working but I was in Apollo for 2 days and I went to Latitudes 2 times! Our first time we went on a Friday night, there was a really good live band (I can't remember their name but it was two ladies that could really entertain a crowd) and the second time we went for brunch. Both times were totally different crowds and experiences but both were awesome! Friday night after getting in town we headed to Latitudes for dinner and drinks emphasis on the drinks. We walked in and we were immediately greeted by the owners and we got to sit at a table kind of close to the band. There was a group of six (two were kids) of us and they had just enough room for us to sit inside. Our waitress's name was Erica, she was super friendly and very helpful. I couldn't decide what drink to order so Erica help me narrow it down and then she even chose my final decision for me and she did not choose poorly as the drink was delicious! Erica then helped me order two other drinks as well which were all very good and let's just say I was REALLY having fun after the third cocktail! For dinner I ordered the chicken wrap which was a good size and exactly what you would want in a chicken wrap, I did ask for more buffalo sauce and I dipped in ranch. My favorite part of our whole meal was the wings, this is HUGE for me to say it because I don't actually really like wings especially not bone in wings however we ordered ours as an appetizer and we ordered them extra crispy and boy did they steal the show they were soooo good!!! On Saturday we showed up around 9:45 for brunch and we were the only ones for the most part in the restaurant. We had the MOST AMAZING server named Cody he was funny, helpful and new exactly what I needed before I did! After the night before I woke up not feeling 100% and Cody knew right away that I needed a Bloody Mary. At first I told Cody no and that I would just stick with a mimosa...... I was wrong I NEEDED a Bloody Mary! Luckily the mimosas and bloody Mary's are interchangeable under their bottomless menu. Also did I mention that bottomless is only $5!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never in my life heard of such a price for bottomless anything it was amazing! Again not feeling super great instead of a big breakfast I decided to go with just one single pancake. The pancake was fluffy yet the edges or crispy just the way I like it and I would totally order it again! There were a lot of really good things about Latitudes however I think the thing that makes this restaurant the most special is the people that work there. I mean good service is everything at a place like this, it nice to feel like you are home from the moment you walk in! Also $5 bottomless is wonderful and I will be back! read more

Nice surprise dinner at Latitudes. Mai Tai was one of the best I've had. Tin Can Nachos were excellent. Really enjoyed with the queso cheese. Greek salad was excellent. Fish and Chips Portion was very filling not greasy at all. Shrimp dinner was pretty standard. Could have used a few more shrimps. read more

This has become one of our regular paces to go since moving here. Tin can nachos and the jalapeño queso burger is my usual order and it's so good, I haven't tried to get anything else yet. The host was truly the most accommodating person!!! Pleasant and made my parents feel special. We were looking for a small place for my mom and dad to celebrate their 69th wedding anniversary. We parked up close and she let us know when our table was ready. She made a spot that was good for a walker and low table. We sat next to the music and my dad really enjoyed it. 70s music that he knew all the words. Food was great, in and out at a pace which was good. Lots of beer choices. Every time we visit the Tampa area from out of state, Latitudes always lands on the must-visit list. Always busy, they have a good atmosphere, nice drink list, and so far we have not had a bad meal! The giant meatballs are good, and as a shrimp lover I always go for their shrimp dishes. Outside seating is available, and the upside-down tree has been there forever. Sometimes the live music is a little loud, but the wait staff are always friendly. I would give a shout out to our favorite waiter but can't remember his name! Do not recommend! I had a terrible experience here recently, poor service, cocktail was poorly done no one checked on us and after almost 30mins waiting for our meal the waitress comes to us and ask what our order was because I guess she wrote it with invisible ink in front of us and ignored it right after!? And guest that had come much after were all being served before us. Besides the one cocktail that had two different prices listed and was not mixed well , you could clearly see the alcohol floating on top we had the "fried cheese" which are just some mozzarella sticks when those came out we didn't even get small plates but again no one bothered to come by to check on us. All very sad because this place could've had some potential being that's its in a new and upcoming area. Told all my family friends visiting to not even bother checking this place out. read more

My wife and I liked going here but the last 3 or 4 times they want to make us sit outside even though most of the inside tables are empty. Tonight was the last time. It was about 6:00 and most of the tables have reserved signs but no line of people waiting. The waitress said everyone was coming to see Frank Sinatra at 7:00. Good food. Just out side of Apollo Beach Area. We were here for a job assignment. We could have gone to know place I like. But we decided to consult Yelp Rating and look for something new. This restaurant just at west side of US 41 in the plaza. Not difficult to find. It has good ambient and nice decorations. Bar area is good if you want to hang out. The rest room sink shape like a fish is beautiful to look at. We started with the blacken beef tip. The beef is tender and soft. It was a great bite appetizer. My lunch is grilled grouper sandwich. The fish is good size and fresh. The chef lightly seasoning the fish and grilled perfectly. It accompanied with french fried. My friend has the Greek salad and he like the fresh salad. The food was excellent! My roast beef was cooked just right, my husband salmon was just the way he liked it.

Our server , Jayla, was new and did a great job attending to us. The menu is light on vegetarian & vegan options and the new chef went above and beyond to accommodate the plant based eater in our group. He created a black bean burger and even came out of the kitchen to explain the ingredients. The food was ok But the biggest issue I have with this place is that the wait staff acted as if they where angry that we came in It was our first time there We where starving They took our drink order then didn't come back for 10 minutes When the waitress finally came back she was very rude and dismissive with a horrible attitude She never came back to see if we needed anything or if wanted to order more drinks We just moved into town and like trying new places We will not be back Bad attitudes = no tip I would happily drive back to Kazbors in Riverview for food and drinks at least they are happy to see us and the food there is amazing and the staff there are very friendly read more

Not the best experience. Let me start out by saying we used to come to this resturant 2-3 times a week. Food came out cold, it took 35-40 minutes to get our food. The place latley has had a werid smell and isn't as clean as it used to be. The one thing this place has going for it is the servers/ service is always great. We are a very short 3-4 minute golf cart ride away so I hope this place gets better after we give it a break for a bit. read more

My wife and I came for the first time on a Friday night and we were happy to hear soulful live music as we entered the building! We ended up dining outside due to the large number of people inside- the plus side was the empty patio and you could still hear the music. We were quickly greeted by our server, Heidi, who was extremely friendly! She quickly took our drink orders and returned even faster! We ordered a variety of food: fried pickles (a bit salty but super addicting!), tin can nachos- probably the BEST nachos hands down, and the grouper piccata. The grouper was unseasoned and a little one note. The half order of nachos was so plentiful that my wife and I just shared those. There were so many options on the menu and I can't wait to come back and try! We heard live music was Friday and Saturdays, so looking forward to experiencing that. Have always enjoyed coming here for lunch, they have awesome burgers! in the afternoon it's quiet & relaxed. we decided to try it out for dinner, sorry we did. the place is very popular with the geriatric crowd, all jamming inside before 6 pm to get their $10 earlybird dinner.....then pack much of it up and taking it home. we were probably one of the youngest couples in the place. they do have live music which some of the seniors will then decide to dance, it is GREAT for people watching, that's for sure. we ordered a couple of cocktails then ordered dinner. thought we'd try out the battered cod dinner. when it arrived it looked like 3 fish sticks on a giant white plate with a scattering of fries. they brought out the coleslaw after. the fries are great, the coleslaw too, but the fish was a DISAPPOINTMENT. VERY greasy, oily and had a weird flavor, thought the $15 price seemed very reasonable, almost cheap, then we understood why when the plates arrived. you can go down a block and get a great battered cod at salty shamrock, or several other restaurants in the area. this fish dinner was really sad. servers are all friendly. we'll continue to come back, but for lunch only and for their burgers, but that's it. read more

So glad we decided to do Sunday brunch here! We loved the all you can drink Bloody Mary's for $5. They were garnished with lemon,lime, and two olives. We had to wait a bit for our order to be taken but our server showed a sense of urgency and was super busy. We had the Florentine Benedict and the Breakfast Burger which was topped with a fried egg. It came with home fries. The menu was limited to brunch items. I would like to return and explore other options on my next visit. My only complaint is the noise level. Had a terrible experience at this restaurant last night. The service was terribly slow. Never been served such a small margarita, especially considering the price we paid for it. Literally served in a whiskey sipper glass. Waited 45 minutes for my husband and child's food to come out luke warm. My meal came out a completely different dish than what I had ordered so I had to wait even longer for the correct one. And it was apparent that it was rushed at that point as the pasta was not fully cooked. Food itself for all 3 of our meals were incredibly bland. Our waitress rarely came around - never even offered us water. We were very excited for this location as our friends had talked about it, however we definitely will not be returning. read more

I wanted this place to be better for some reason. It just misses the bar. Menu is a little odd. Nothing really sounded amazing that I had to try it. Skirt steak was pricey, usually a cheaper cut of meat (even tho it is my fav) it came already cut into strips for me instead of a full skirt. Had a nice flavor. My dining buddy got the ribeye, it too had good flavor. The menu on their website I don't believe is the same as what they have in the restaurant. The entree did not come with a starter salad or soup which was kind of weird. Nor bread, my elderly aunt was disappointed about the no salad and bread. There is no seasoning on the broccoli nor the green beans that came with the meals. I wish I could have gotten a potato instead of rice. Overall it is ok. So this was our first time there, and I'm hoping it was just a bad night. But, it was more than just bad service or bad food. It was almost all of the above.... We've been looking forward to eating here for a while, and it just seemed like the night last night. They weren't overly busy and we got seated right away so it started off promising. We got our drinks right away and we ordered our menu items. I got chips, queso, and salsa. The boyfriend got wings. They brought out the chips and queso first after an extremely long wait. The queso was Velveeta at best and I don't know what the salsa was, but it was a sweet picante ew! I think I drank three glasses of iced tea before the boyfriend got his wings. They were burnt to a crisp. Like you've seen the movie Christmas vacation where they're trying to eat that turkey? That's what it was like trying to eat those wings... terrible. The sauces seemed good so that's promising. And it took forever to get our check. The waitress seemed really really nice but I don't know if we'll be back :-(. So sad cuz it had a cool vibe :((. Great spot for date night. We have been here several times for date night and have brought some friends here to experience the atmosphere. We've been to the brunch several times and enjoyed the mimosa and bloody Mary bar. Most def suggest this as a place to try out. Staff and management is awesome. read more

We really wanted to like this place . It's near our home. The menu looked good. The server was nice enough but We were greeted with a very long list of "things we are out of". This included shrimp, fish, prime rib (on prime rib special night) , etc. it was literally 40% of the menu that they couldn't do. I asked about the rib eye steak and they said it is the ends of the prime rib reheated on the grill. I clarified that with the server - yes it is roasted as a prime rib first , then thrown on the grill to be like a steak. Yikes ! I can't even remember what I ate. It wasn't anything memorable and not anything I came in for. I live 5 minutes from here. I'll never go back . read more

We try to frequent Latitudes but second time we've had to leave after waiting 10+ minutes with no service. Sat down and was surprised to see many available tables. A larger party entered 5 minutes after us, then an older couple. Finally someone brought menus and said someone would be with us soon. But no one ever came over. Waitress took drink orders from both the larger party and older couple and was, seemingly going to get us third? Great location, menu and food but lacking management. I worked as a professional waiter and folks should be greeted and brought water within 2 minutes much less abandoning the place for zero service after 12-15 minutes. I know many places are hurting for good help but they seemed to have plenty of staff. I counted 5-6 people running around. At one point a female manager or bartender pointed to us and a person brought the menus but rather than saying someone will be with us, she should have at least brought water or taken drink order. And if the manager had to point us out knowing we'd been there a while, she should have come over herself or better taken charge; simply poor management. Disappointing. read more

New, good food, we sat on the lanai next to a parking lot...so no ambiance there (we were ok with that choice though). Food was good!
