I went here twice the same day, early for brunch my mother and I had a wonderful time and had a few different drinks, all of the bartenders were wonderful they took plenty care of us and we had so much fun! My husband and I went later for a dinner date and had wonderful food and our server was the sweetest girl ever!

"Is this place worth it?" YES. Point blank, period, YES. Menu is short and small, but man was everything good. My table ordered family style and got to try most of the menu. We started with the Baby Gem Caesar and Parm Fries. Then we moved on to the Fritto Misto, Insalata di Mare, and Roasted Octopus. All great starters! For our entrees, we went with the Prime Ribeye and Squid Ink Chitarra. The steak was cooked to perfection and the pasta tasted so fresh! Absolutely loved everything we ordered. Aside from the food, the drinks, the decor, the ambiance -- everything is just to die for. The only thing to note is that, while you're waiting for your table and its busy, there's not really anywhere to wait. We ended up standing outside in the hotel hallway for what seems like forever because the bars and tabletops were all taken up along with the waiting tables. So, just have some patience.

This review is specifically for DESSERT, because WOW. My friends and I wanted a little nightcap so we stopped in and got seated quickly. It is ALWAYS a good practice to ask the server for dessert recs because odds are, they're going to suggest something you'd never consider and thank goodness she did. She suggested the Pistachio Ricotta Torta and the amaretto cookie gelato, so we got both of those as well as some chocolate gelato. I am not typically an amaretto girlie, but that gelato was arguably the best I've ever had. Never had anything like it before, truly phenomenal. The chocolate was great too, really some of the better gelato I've had, but that amaretto cookie flavor with the little cookie pieces... truly DIABOLICAL!!!! The torta was also so delicious!!

A friend had been in before and demanded we go while I was in town, so I gladly obliged! Parking in the area is tough, but we utilized the valet, which was $15. Located in The Vinoy hotel, this spot is an experience from the beginning! A stunning bar dominates the space as you enter, complimented with a mix of art deco, modern, and lux finishes. Seating for every group size makes this perfect for a drink with a friend, dinner with the family, or a larger gathering! It surprisingly felt approachable, not ostentatious. Service was top notch throughout our dinner, providing an elevated experience from start to finish! Enjoyed the Early Retirement to drink, which was a slightly cherry/fruity version of an Old Fashioned. The Whipped Ricotta was my favorite dish: creamy, sweet, nutty perfection! The meatballs were tasty, yet failed to stand out as anything original. The Radiatore alla Vodka was delicious with perfectly al dente pasta and a rich sauce! The Lacquered Brick Chicken had the PERFECT sauce for those of you that love umami and I appreciated the mushrooms paired with the perfectly cooked chicken. Really great spot for a special occasion or elevated experience in the area!

**GOAT ALERT** The bartender was trying to talk me into a Caesar salad, and I was lukewarm about it. Just another Caesar salad. He said the one here is different from anywhere else I've ever been and boy oh boy was he right. The Caesar salad here is neck and neck with Jay Luigi for best Caesar salad in all of Tampa Bay. I freaking loved it and would seriously go here again and just order double Caesar salads and that's it. It's really that good. I also had the $23 Burrata and it was great too. I definitely need to come back here again and try more food items. For drinks, I had a $20 Crimson Heat. It was pretty good, I wish it had a stronger burnt mezcal taste, but I liked it. Also, had a $22 Espresso Martini. I liked it a lot too. I would rate it a 8.5/10. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and super huge. There is a bar at the front in the middle and a bar in the way back. I actually appreciate the fact the hostess told me to take off my hat. I like classy places like this. I will certainly be back with my dad as he loves Caesar salads.

Came here for the first time for brunch with a group of ladies. This restaurant is located inside the Vinoy hotel. There is street parking as well as valet for $15. This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, lots of photo opportunities, with a very upscale vibe. The service was phenomenal and so was the food. I was very impressed with the brunch menu. The sesame carrot dip was amazing along with the burrata. I recommend getting the eggs in purgatory or the beef cheek hash both are very flavorful. If you're in the area looking for an upscale brunch this is the place for you. I will definitely be back.

Extremely Decent value for the prices although we didn't try the steaks... but the pull apart bread, pastas, & whipped ricotta were fantastic. Our server, Michael was a level 2 sommelier which was so helpful with the extensive wine list. The art deco ambiance is wonderfully upscale, as well as the attentive service from the assist waiter and waiter. The menu runs across a large spectrum from the meatballs to a crudo (I didn't get the chance to try!) so there is truly something for every palate.

One of the best fine dining experiences in the Tampa Bay Area! Every dish was the perfect bite! For starters we had the Whipped Ricotta, Focaccia, Burrata, Meatballs, and the Baby Gem Caesar Salad. Every dish was amazing but the meatballs and Caesar really impressed me with flavor! For mains we had the Radiatore Allá Vodka, Beef Cheek Tortelli, Lacquered Brick Chicken, and the Crispy Fingerling Potato's. Let me tell you GET the chicken it was my favorite dish! It was so moist and the sauce paired perfectly with the potato's. The entire menu is definitely shareable and the ambiance was unmatched! Our server was so impressive he was able to remember every single dish we ordered without writing a single thing down, needless to say we were very impressed. A lot of detail went into this restaurant and it was such a nice vibe. I will definitely be back to dine at Elliot Aster very soon.

One of the best italian restaurants in St. Pete! The food is exceptional Especially the Radiatore alla Vodka ! This is a must try pasta, i get it every time i visit ! The service here is also remarkable and adds to the experience. The restaurant is decorated beautifully, creating a five star dining experience!

Came here with some friends and this place is very nice! Ambiance is elegant. Service is great. Food comes out slowly but they were delicious. We sat in the lounge section so we got a Cesar salad which was a huge portion and was one of the best I've ever had! The artichoke dip was okay- a bit salty.we got pasta to go and the duck pappardelle was sooo good! Lots of duck meat and the noodles were tender and delicious. I would definitely Come back!

Hey everyone! As your go-to realtor from Palm Harbor, I'm always on the hunt for awesome spots around the area to share with my favorite people (that's you!). Hubby and I finally hit up Elliott Aster at the Vinoy in St. Pete for date night, and wow--it's now my top pick when I want to feel fancy without the stuffy vibes. The place is gorgeous: moody lighting, velvet booths, and that classic Vinoy charm with a cool modern twist. Feels like a 1920s speakeasy but way more chill and welcoming. We started with the Burrata--creamy, dreamy, and gone in seconds. Then the **Beef Cheek Tortelli**--melt-in-your-mouth goodness with a rich sauce. So good! Hubby loved the Wood fired Filet--smoky from the wood fire, juicy, and perfectly done. We shared the Radiatore Alla Vodka too--creamy with just the right kick. And we couldn't leave without the decadent chocolate torte for dessert. Rich, not too sweet, total winner. The vibe inside is romantic and fun and the bar area sets the perfect tone right when you walk in. Service was spot-on--attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Portions are generous, everything tastes fresh, and it's worth the drive from Palm Harbor. If you're looking for a special night out (or just want to treat yourself), go check out Elliott Aster. You won't regret it! Who's going next? Let me know--I might crash your table Happy dining, friends! Bridgie

My daughters treated me to a celebratory dinner at Elliot Aster, located in the beautiful Vinoy Hotel, and it was one of the most stunning dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendliest valet attendant. Walking through the hotel, I felt the luxury and elegance immediately. The restaurant itself was gorgeous, intimate, and elegant. Our server, Paula delivered impeccable service. Every single dish we ordered was exquisitely prepared and tasted heavenly good. Our drinks were on point as well. Yes, it was a splurge, but every penny was worth it. It was the perfect way for my kids to celebrate me, and the experience will be a memory I will always cherish.

Surprisingly mild on flavor despite the toppings, and it's a BIG boy... which I know some people love, but I tend to prefer a smash burger so I'll take partial responsibility for that note! The fries, however, were excellent... textured, crispy, exactly how fries should be. The real standout of the visit was the chilaquiles (the chef's brunch special). There's dedicated parking for the restaurant behind the building in the lot, plus metered street parking and garages within less than a block. The main entrance is on the side of the building, on 5th Street S just off 6th Avenue S. Outdoor seating is available, but I personally wouldn't choose it, sitting right next to a busy intersection with constant traffic and exhaust isn't my idea of enjoyable. That said, the interior ambiance alone is worth the visit. Inspired by the historic George Peabody Library and part of the Oxford Commons Hospitality group, the design is quirky, fun. The thoughtful mix of bookshelves, warm lighting, rich browns and deep blues, and the seamless blend of library, bar, and dining space creates a truly special atmosphere, especially if you love books. We visited as part of a large group for a special occasion dinner. They accommodated us on very short notice after our original plans changed due to possible rain and outside seating only at our first reservation, which was impressive. Our waitress was fantastic, she handled our entire table (and others) by herself with no buss person and still managed every order and individual request with genuine care and efficiency. I haven't tried breakfast, lunch, the morning coffee/pastry take-out window, or the bar yet, but the dinner experience was excellent. Fair warning: this is not a budget-friendly spot. If you're watching every dollar or might resent the food due to prices, it's probably not the place for you. It's ideal for special occasions or when you want to enjoy a meal without worrying about the cost, each dish/cocktail is in line with upscale dining in the area,it does add up quickly with drinks, apps, entrees, and sides, though I read they have happy hour. We ordered appetizers (shared), I also had the opportunity to sip a few cocktails (when offered), I also shared entrees, and sides with some of our group. Everything we tried was very good, there were not stand-outs, all was scrumptious, from the start of appetizers: the warm bread with its delicious butter spread, the roasted cauliflower, the spicy crispy shrimp, the Steak Frites, the perfectly cooked French fries, and the sautéed spinach, all of which I had a taste of personally. The portions looked modest on the plates but were surprisingly filling, many of us had leftovers to take home. We finished with the warm cookie and ice cream, which was hands-down amazing, especially with the perfect touch of flaky salt on top. The cocktails were strong and creative. My first choice (suggested by the waitress) wasn't quite to my taste, it was too tart and strong for me, but she immediately removed it from the bill and happily brought me something else I enjoyed much more.
