We use to come here all the time! No sure why we stopped, maybe staying closer to home? But l saw some ads on FB about happy hour food, happy hour all day Sunday, So when back to check it out and glad we did, even won she $ to pay!

Makaila is a fantastic bartender. She's great at multitasking, makes delicious bevvies, and creates such a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The food and snacks here are tasty too. I had the mini sliders with a salad, along with an Old Fashioned and one of their Mystic Isle drinks, and both were very yummy. Highly recommend stopping by, especially if Makaila is working!

We had the best food and most amazing service from Douglas at the Rivershore tonight!! He brought everything just as we asked, and we tend to ask for variations. :) Douglas gave us the type of service that I thought was extinct. We will visit again! And get the prime rib again!

Beware! The menu here at the rivershore show items that have an "S" at the end. As in plural. However, it may be that you will NOT get more than ONE. In fact. The appetizer crab CAKES that are on the menu for $20. YOU ONLY GET ONE !!! I called rivershore about this and they tried to bs me. They said that the menu says crab CAKE. NO IT DOES NOT!

Updates for East Side long running restaurants - 1 of 2 I could have sworn I'd given Rivershore 4 stars before because I have eaten there about a handful of times. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While it looks and probably is very '70s or early '80s, it looks at home in its setting from which you can take in some great views of the confluence of the rivers if seated on the terrace.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can get some of the view from tables closer to the big windows.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Rivershore is about classic American food as shown in their preparation and presentation of meat, poultry, and fish dishes ... and more. It's about heartier fare and, in this more salt of the earth area, definitely not bistro food with small portions. I was hungry and I thought I'd drop in, though it was for dinner when I've almost always gone here for lunch. As I went over the menu, I didn't see as many things that interested me and I didn't want a burger or a sandwich. That said, I settled on the fish and chips of which the fish was cod. (I believe they also had halibut fish and chips.) With it, I had a cola soft drink. I liked the platter, and I'm easy to please since I need a periodic fish and chips fix, and I also liked the portion size. The service was somewhere between good and indifferent. As long as the job got done, I overlooked it. I looked over the check when it arrived and the soft drink was on the tab at $5! It's not about being cheap - well, it sort of is - but it's that the Rivershore is not Fogo de Chao or a renowned downtown restaurant. There's a sort of psychology or consumer behavior that goes with pricing. That said, this $5 cola torqued me. Perhaps it's a way to still bump things up when customers are not ordering alcohol. I'm not sure. So, I'm at a standard 3 stars instead of a more enthusiastic 3 stars for the Rivershore where 2 rivers come together as well as 3 communities - Oregon City, Milwaukie, and Gladstone. It's fine. If you tend to rotate where you go out to eat and you like American grub, you can slot this restaurant into your rotation.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Located within the BW, overlooking the river.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They offer a wide variety of menu items with a view! But, the staff make this an exceptional place to visit! Tyler took great care of me with a genuinely friendly style! I highly recommend The Rivershore Bar & Grill!

Kinda weird how good this place is. It's a restaurant in a hotel but the food is better than it has to be and Server Douglas treated me like I won the lottery. They should raise the prices and ignore the customers more. Then I'd feel like home.

    Patio point of view

Easter morning at Rivershore Bar and Grill was such a vibe. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The views of the river were sooo peaceful, and the sunshine made everything feel extra cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Brunch was delicious (literally hit the spot after a long week), and the service was super sweet and welcoming. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It felt like the perfect mix of relaxing and festive -- exactly how Easter morning should be[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely one of those places that just feels good to be at. Can't wait to come back! Willa was super sweet at the host Stan!

Is the river view at evening 7pm in June even worthwhile? My wife likes nice view, but she gets off work after 6pm.

As the days are longer in June, you can have dinner at 7 and get really nice twilight views later. Definitely recommend sitting out on the deck if you're there for the view.

Do they accept Pickup orders? Like I want to buy a hamburger during their happy hour pricing for pickup. Do they do that?

I would say most likely not. 99% of restaurants require happy hr to be dine in only and some sort of drink either alcoholic or non to be ordered w the happy hr food

Oregon City has a way of feeling put together without trying too hard. You've got history, views, and just enough going on to make it interesting without turning your day into a full-blown expedition. Corner 14 itself? Dialed in. Covered seating everywhere, fire pits at nearly every table, and a massive one out front that practically dares you to grab a drink and stay awhile. Rain or shine, hot or cold, this place has you handled. It's modern, clean, and honestly punches right up there with the best food cart setups around. What used to feel a little worn now looks refreshed like it hit the reset button and came back brand new. At night, the whole place flips a switch. String lights glow, the fire pits crackle, and suddenly you're not just grabbing food--you're settling in. It's the kind of spot where you tell yourself "just one drink" and somehow end up two hours deep, debating life like a philosopher with a buzz. And the location doesn't hurt. You're right near Willamette Falls that big, roaring centerpiece of the town and just a short trip from the iconic Oregon City Municipal Elevator, which gives you sweeping views of the valley. Toss in a stroll down Main Street and you've got yourself a full outing without the headache of city traffic or a 50-block commitment. Bonus points: right across the street you can hit Oregon City Axe Throwing. So yeah grab a drink, eat something great, then go hurl sharp objects with your friends like responsible adults. I've got a soft spot for this place Thirsty Thursdays, post-work hangs, a lot of good memories baked into these fire pits. Corner 14 isn't just a food cart pod it's a go-to. Easy, fun, and just classy enough to keep you coming back.

Only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is the fact that the food carts hours are unpredictable. At least one cart is closed every time I'm there if not multiple. There has been times I've been there midday where there is only 2-3 open total. Definitely worth a try though.

They rearranged upstairs adding another pool table and some lounge couches. They have pushed all the tables and chairs against one shorter wall, in a line making it tight quarters and forcing you to sit next to strangers. There is no elbow room. It wasn't busy up there so I tried not to be bothered with this. Our waitress greeted us immediately. Brought our waters, menus and checked on us 3-4 times. She was great. Our food was NOT great let alone, ok! I ordered the shrimp scampi/risotto dish. It came with a side of garlic bread. My husband ordered the lemon capered chicken and my daughter the smash burger. My food and my husband's food tasted like I was eating CREAM OF SALT with garlic and the bread was even more salty. He was starving and just ate it, I only got through about half. It was so salty. My daughter said her burger was dry and tasted weird. She didn't finish it. Her fries were good. We didn't complain. We were hungry and uncomfortable being squished up like that. I just wanted to be done with the whole experience. I won't say that I'll never be back. I understand that chefs and restaurants staff are human and mistake like over salting a dish can happen. Prior to this past weekend, hadn't had a problem with food, staff or seating. However, I do hope someone in management/ownership sees my review so improvements/changes can be made. Not only with the dishes that are being served to paying customers but the seating arrangements upstairs. Those tables and chairs are far too squished together.

Verdict Bar & Grill in Oregon City is a really cool whiskey bar with a speakeasy-style atmosphere,…read moregreat drinks, and seriously impressive bartenders. I stopped in recently to pick up a to-go order and ended up sitting at the bar for a drink while I waited. I was greeted right away when I sat down and given a food menu. The place was completely slammed, but the two bartenders were absolutely dialed in. They were mixing signature cocktails, pouring wine, draft beer, and spirits nonstop while still checking in with guests. Watching them work was impressive -- the focus and efficiency looked more like professional mixologists than typical bartenders. The space itself has a great vibe. You enter from the 8th Street door and it feels like stepping into a hidden basement speakeasy. The interior is dimly lit with a huge illuminated whiskey wall. The bar is centered in the room with booths along the outside, making it a really cool date-night spot. While waiting for my food I ordered a Fort George City of Dreams Hazy IPA, which was cold and fantastic. As soon as I saw the cocktail menu though, I immediately regretted not ordering one of their house drinks -- the 8th Street Margarita looked especially good. I also noticed that all the whiskey drinks coming out had these beautiful crystal-clear 3" ice cubes, which is a great touch and shows they take their cocktails seriously. I originally came in because I've been ordering the Buffalo Mac & Cheese from their food cart about once a month for the last few years. Their Oregon City cart recently closed, so this was my first time getting it from the bar. My to-go order took about 30 minutes, which was totally understandable given how busy the place was. The staff stayed friendly and attentive the whole time. The Buffalo Mac & Cheese was still very tasty. The macaroni was great with a creamy cheese sauce and good buffalo flavor throughout. The chicken tasted like it may have been frozen at some point and was a little chewy compared to the crunchier chicken I remember from the food cart version, but overall the dish was still really good and something I'll definitely order again. Great atmosphere, skilled bartenders, solid food, and a really unique whiskey-bar vibe in Oregon City. Next time I come back I'm definitely sitting down and ordering one of those cocktails. Tip: Sit at the bar if you can -- watching the bartenders craft the drinks is half the experience.
