this place is terrible most of the washers are broken and the soap dispenser area of the washer is caked and dirty not well kept at all

I rarely give negative reviews until I try a business a second time. There will not be a second time for this laundry. The soap dispensers are absolutely DISGUSTING! Various machines are out of order. They all stink. If they would simply take the time at closing to open all machines and let them dry out, it would help. Restroom was not available. Majority of the machines are taped off and not working. Those that appear to work take your money and don't work or don't return your quarters. The number on the door for assistance does not answer. Don't waste your time or money. read more

I have to say that this may not be top notch clean and sometimes machines are out but all these aweful reviews surprised me, I'm guessing not many have been to smithville laundromat! Now in the owners defense, this laundromat he owns and also works for tesla full time, he has kept prices the same regardless of competitors increase, he could and would buy new machines although if he did he would go up in price load as well, he does what he can for this is a hobby for him and as a customer I like going here, if water is on the floor due to a washer I just get the mop and mop it up! If I loose money, I leave a note or call him for the information for contact is there on the door, i have been redunded i enjoy having air conditioned area and i like the place and maybe because i met the owner and know why things are the way they are...he is offering the public lower laundry loads, he is a hard working man so everyone has there own opinion...there are a couple lady's that work there that can help at times, my experience with knowledge this is where i go every week! read more

I'd rather not be in a small spot and need to use a laundromat. But I've traveled extensively and some place are worse that others. Needed change for a twenty and the attendant didn't have it. I watched 6 others since ask the same and nothing. She tells everyone that the manager is one the way to buy back your quarters. No manager arrival. Attendant leaves for lunch. Yes, this is a laundromat and so my expectations were not too high, but this place was bad. Several of the washing machines and several dryers were not in working order. There is no one on site to answer questions or help in the event of a problem. My clothes did not smell clean after washing. I will not return here. I do not recommend this place. read more

Directions led me to a empty lot. Called and attendant was helpful to direct me to the Hasler Exit on same side as Tractor supply . We were camping . And storm had flash flood water drench our sleeping bags . This place is so very needed . read more

Their was a short lady today talking so bad on me and my husband and daughter in Spanish it was very rude and I snapped back because I can understand Spanish and I didn't like how the other two women were laughing at the fact that she said "OH My God theses People Have So Much Clothes They Should Have Gone Somewhere Else With Their Crap" and said cuss words that I don't want to say. The worse experience I've ever had. Lost money's on machines (yes plural!) AND laundry soap. When I finally found a machine that worked, turned around and it was taken. No attendant to help out. Ended up going to another one in town. Save up your money before going. read more

This Laundromat is not much different than most I've visited, however yesterday, I was very happy and impressed with the level of customer service I received. My partner had accidentally left behind an entire wash load of clothes at a time when the laundromat was very busy. When I realized that night some of my most favorite clothing items were missing, I assumed I'd never see them again. We called to find out if there was any chance of recovering the items, and sure enough, someone answered the phone and said that they actually do keep clothes left behind for up to 3 weeks. Still not confident the clothes would be there, I returned the next day and was so relieved and overjoyed to find everything that had been left behind was saved, dried, folded, in a bag that was dated, and organized on a shelf in a locked closet, waiting for me to pick up at no extra charge.
