With that said, we all need to take ownership of how we care for the garment and be more well informed and educated of whether the item can be cleaned (i.e., read the labels, can you clean it and if so, dry clean or can it be laundered?) It humors me reading a complaint about buying an antique dress for $50 and being quoted $450 for steaming and spot treating. A place across the street can provide the same service for $15! The context of the review doesn't even make logical sense as I have never heard a place charging $450 to press a dress. Yet, what place across the street can do it for $15 and still both are in business? Don't even get me started on calculating the math on the difference in mark up as the information provided is absurd.
