Naturally I asked more to understand what these random charges were as this has never happened to me in my over 25+ years of getting my hair done. She said 2.50 for the hair dye (again, how unprofessional, no salon ever has charged for more product); then the rest is some BS they put on a card board at the register for "environmental"...so they recycle my washed up hair (GROSS!) and charge me so they can be better to the enviornment?? The clueless receptionist was not able to explain further. I told her point blank this is NOT how you treat customers, you tell them up front what the service costs and that's how it works. If they want to tack on $10 add'l for nonsense charges, LET ME KNOW UP FRONT. This is the most ludicrous thing I have ever seen/heard. The charges continue. I went to tip and they use "tippy" so I got to pay an additional $3 or so just to tip my stylist! Unbelievable this place is!! To the manager of this store: this was my first visit to your salon.
