My family and I used this shuttle service for our cruise December 1-9. Mike told us that we would be picked up at our hotel between 11-11:30am. I told him that we had Faster to the Fun and would like to be there as early as possible. I called him that morning to verify pick-up time and he said that he would be at the hotel as close to 11 as possible. After an hour of waiting around, he finally got to the hotel at 12:00pm. We did not arrive at the ship until 1:00pm. I was decently disappointed at this point. On the return, we called at 7:30am as requested on the return sheet that Mike gave us. Told him that we would be off the ship by 9:00am. He said there would be a driver by the name of George there to pick us up and gave me his number to call him. I called George after clearing customs and he said that he would not be our driver, and instead gave me a different name and a different phone number. I called Mike back and told him the situation and asked when the driver would be there. He then said that this guy wouldn't be my driver either and gave me ANOTHER name and phone number. This driver finally arrived about 30 minutes later. On top of all of this, both drivers we had were on the phone the ENTIRE 45 minute ride and were swerving all over the road. It was quite scary. Yikes! Consistently late and gives you the run around. I am a travel agent and would not use this service again, nor would I suggest it to any of my clients. read more

Laura's shuttle offered the best price out of all the research that I had done. I worked primarily with Mike, who was very helpful and accommodating. I called to let him know that our flight was delayed a bit and he reassured us at that, regardless, he would be there on time and we would have plenty of time to reach our ship (we went on a cruise out of Port Canaveral). Hubby and I had to arrange a last minute shuttle to catch our cruise and ended up on Laura's shuttle FB page (yes, it was o'dark early the morning of) when a gentleman answered the phone. I gave him my name and stated that we needed a shuttle and asked about the FB special. He stated that I should call back at 7 and someone should be able to take my reservation (I honestly didn't expect someone to answer at such an early hour hence the 1star)... I told him that I didn't know if they had scheduled times and I wanted to see if they had room. He gave me a time of 11. When I told him that was too late, as we had to be at the ship at that time, he told me to call somebody else because that was the only time they had at the special, then asked if I'd called before (I have a common name)....really?!? My trip was canceled due to the Hurricane Irma. They took a long time to refund my family for the shuttle service for: The original cost was over $200 round-trip transfer for 7 persons prepaid. It's not not like I planned to cancel. I just wanted my money back for a service not used from the cancelled cruise due to the Hurricane Irma. I been told every month (September, October, November, December..) that I would get my money back, but I have not received anything. I finally got my money back January 2018. read more

We had a reservation for pick up from the airport to Port Canaveral on 4/1/18, but our driver was not there to pick us up. We called Mike, which is who the transport was booked through and were told our driver was "15-20 minutes away." Needless to say, we waited and waited.....and waited. After multiple repeat calls to Mike and being told the driver was "on his way", he FINALLY showed up 1.5 HOURS LATER. We were leaving for a cruise and should have spent that time on our ship, but instead, we sat outside the airport waiting for our driver while we watched many many people come in after us and leave before us, because they used a different shuttle service. Once we boarded the shuttle bus, we were treated to a scary, bumpy ride with another family who were already inside the vehicle. Our driver was driving well under the speed limit and seemed uneasy about the traffic etc. This made all of us quite uncomfortable and we were beyond relieved to make it to our ship! Upon our return from our cruise today, we chose to NOT use their service for the return trip to the Orlando airport, even though we paid for the round trip in advance. In fact, when we called Mike upon arriving at the port at 10:00 with our luggage, he told us the driver would be there "around 12-12:30"...seriously?!! Let me start by saying that Mike, the owner, is a very nice guy but... He is way over extended with his service and it shows. We booked for a party of 4 to go from the Orlando International airport to Port Canaveral for a cruise and return. I booked over the phone and received confirmation via email with very specific pick-up times. Mike's drivers were late for both pickups. On the return trip, the van was within the time window promised but we waited over an hour for a customer who never showed. At some point, you have to provide your on-time customers with on-time service. Both drivers were very apologetic for their tardiness to the point that it makes you think they're apologizing a lot of the time. We'll try another service next time. read more

Mike is great when taking your shuttle reservation and says no problem with the timing but when I called to get off the ship and be picked up he said it won't happen before 9 am but wouldn't give us a time! We needed to leave BEFORE 9 and he said initially we would be picked up between 8:30 and 9 just to call him when we got to the port. He was very unprofessional so we had to pay to take a different shuttle to get back to the airport. Mike then got someone to get there by 8:30 and called us to ask where we were and we said on the way to the airport. Only gets one star because that is the lowest. Should have no stars! On the way to the port he had no organization when loading a scooter and bags for 11 people for a 7 day cruise. Our return trip was HORRIBLE! Our cruise porters had to load the luggage because Mike had 3 other people on the shuttle. There was barely enough room for all 11 of us & our carry ons going! So not only did we have to share and be uncomfortable but we had to go out of our way to drop off something to another driver!!! They were OK. Used them for a shuttle service to and from Orlando Airport for a cruise out of Port Canaveral. Landed in Orlando at 10am but was told shuttle service doesn't start until 11:30am out of the Sleep Inn near the airport. Sleep Inn picked my party up from the airport and we waited over an hour for the shuttle. Didn't get on the ship until after 1pm. Return trip from Port to Airport was smooth. A car service was setup to get my party back to the airport for 11am flight. read more

LOVE LAURA'S SHUTTLE!!! INEXPENSIVE & DEDICATED TO GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! We used them for our transportation btwn the Orlando Airport Sleep Inn and Port Canaveral for our Disney Cruise in May 2011. Though we did not experience the "Disney magic" on our 45 minute ride out to the port, we did have quiet ride in a clean 10 person coach for just our little family of 4. Our ride back was a little more standard of shuttle service. We stopped and picked up 6 more passengers from 2 other ships & in the back it was a little cramped due to all the luggage, but our driver was courteous & friendly and we spent nearly HALF as much as we would have using Disney's service. Before we left for the port, we found out that Laura's owner Mike, actually runs his service out of the lobby at the Sleep Inn & Laura's is responsible for the Sleep Inn complimentary shuttle service, which we were also pleased with. We added on trans. to Universal Studios on our return trip from the port, since we didn't fly out until the next morning. Mike gave us a HUGE DISCOUNT since we were already using them for the port run. On our return, we came back to the Sleep Inn to drop off our luggage (we ended up checking in early), paid "Mr." Mike for the add-on, and headed out to Universal. Again we had a nice ride to our destination, just our family. We got all the way there and realized I had forgotten our tickets; right after our driver had left. So I hopped a cab back to the hotel, which ran me $35, presumably, each way. Mike saw me in the lobby, asked what happened and I told him my embarrassing story. He told me to go send away the cab, he had a van that he was about to take to get washed anyway, he would run me back to the park for FREE! When we were almost done at the park, we called Laura's for a pick-up and Mr. Mike was waiting for us at the transportation area an hour later! After such a busy day, I nearly forgot to have the front desk put us on the list for the free airport shuttle the next morning. When I went down to the front desk around 9pm there was a slight problem. To make our flight, we needed to be on the first shuttle out; the problem was that there were only 2 seats left. In desperation, I asked the concierge if our toddler & preschooler could just sit on our laps. She said to hold on and she'll make a call. As she's dialing, I realize, she's calling Mike. I was instantly embarrassed, knowing how much he had already helped me out that day. She explains the situation, he asked the name of the guest, and when she told him, he laughed and said, "Her? Of course, no problem." It was at this point that I swore to tell everyone to use his service, and as you see, I am a woman of my word! We had great and clear communication with Mike from the start. The pickup from our hotel went very smoothly. When we were getting off the ship, that process took much, much longer than we had anticipated. We missed our scheduled ride, but we were in contact the whole time (well, not when we were in customs and couldn't use our phone), and they made sure to squeeze us into their schedule a little later that morning. The service was so good and the rate the most reasonable, that I further booked the rest of our trip through Laura's Shuttle. I recommend this shuttle to everyone! I called Laura's shuttle and spoke with a nice man named Mike. I gave him a 12 hour notice for a shuttle ride from the airport to Port Canaveral for two people. Unlike the 7 calls I made before reaching him, he did not turn me away. In fact, he agreed to give us a ride-round trip- and charged the same as the others. Find someone else, if I had to do it over I'd pay more for better service. It's the creepy white van your mom always warned you not to get in... Going from airport to hotel was suppose to take an hour, it took 1 1/2 hour, our driver was all over the road and not very friendly. Going from hotel to airport, the driver was late, had a lady with him, we would be quiet talking in back and he would turn radio up to drown us out, we would stop and he would turn the radio back down. We would ask a question and the would just ignore us and talk to each other in a different language, at one point he turned the heat on when he should have turned in ac, knowing we was already running late for plane (because we got stopped by construction and wreck) he had to stop and get gas, he was all over road and resting his head on his hand while driving (possibly falling asleep). Speaking on behalf of my fiancee, who requested a reservation over phone for a shuttle from the airport to Cape Canaveral. I was right beside her when the call was made and could hear eveyrthing. The gentleman who answered was incredibly rude, and did not seem accommodating in the least. We asked for a specific pick-up time, but he could not even remotely make the work. My flight was 1150 am and when booking this service Mike said no problem. What a mistake using this company. Pick up at the port was schedule for 9am but did not get picked up until 950 and had to make one more stop to pick up family of 5. My family of 5 was already in the 9 seat van so young boy had to sit on mothers lap plus my wife had a piece of luggage on hers. The door in the back would not close all the way so the light in van did not go out. Driver pulled over on highway and tried to fix it, did not happen. To many people and luggage in the van would never use this company again. We made it to airport at 1115am and had a airport worker helping us so we made our flight. Laura's Shuttle Orlando -- Called Mike at 407-851-8730 to reserve a spot on Laura's Shuttle. He was helpful and considerate. We had special travel plans that would require my girlfriend and I to travel alone, apart from a large group of other shuttle users, and Mike of Laura's shuttle was willing to accomadate us. The charge would for this individual shuttle service would cost more, or course, so Mike and I agreed to a total round trip charge of $150 ($75 per person). After this agreement, we changed our special travel plans to something more usual, that would allow us to travel with a group of other shuttle travelers, and we called Mike back to get the rate lowered to the usual $35 per person round trip ($70 total) since we would no longer require traveling alone. Mike agreed. This was in early to mid July 2010. We used the service, and it got us to and from where we needed to go, no frills, but no problems, so for $35 per person round trip, their normal charge, I would have been happy. When my credit card statement arrived a month later, the charge was $150. I called Laura's Shuttle to explain the error and get the charge adjusted, and spoke with Mike. He said he recalled dealing with us on this and would credit $80 back to my card, no problem. The following month, I received a credit card statement, and still no credit was made to me by Laura's Shuttle. So I called Mike again. He said one of the "Billing ladies" must have made an error, and that he would personally look into it and take care of it. I thanked him for his assistance with this, after all, mistakes happen. The next month my statement came and still no credit from Laura's Shuttle. I called Mike again. He said he would take care of it. Next month's credit statement, no credit. You get the picture. I gave up on Mike being a man of his word, so I took the issue up with my credit card company. Unfortunantly, too much time had passed at this point for me to successfully dispute the charge with the credit card company's assistance, so I was forced to pay the extra $80 to Laura's Shuttle for services I did not agree to and did not receive. If you have taken the time to read this review, I hope that you choose not to do business with Laura's Shuttle. If you choose to do business with Laura's Shuttle anyway, please make sure you get everything from them in writing, especially billing changes, and please do not expect anything except bare bones trasportation from this business. It is clear to me from my expereince that Mike, and anyone may be in a supervisory position above him who is aware of my dispute, are clearly unethincal. As a business man myself, I know that the apple does not fall far from the tree, and I would expect Laura's Shuttle ability to sustain it's business will get worse over time. If they are willing to gain $80 in the short term at the long term risk of having reviews like this posted all over on the web, then their business judgment is fundamentally flawed. Once the Laura's Shuttle brand name is tarnished, please beware of anyone named Mike in this business. He sounds like an older man, and be especially wary of any shuttle business using the 407-851-8730 phone number. Wish I could do more to help. I called and spoke with Mike for a quote for transportation from MCO to Port Canaveral. We are 2 weeks out from the cruise date. I told him I would have to talk to my significant other and would contact him back the next day. He tells me I should make the reservation now as prices could change (in less than 24 hours which is odd), and I told him its no my entire decision as there are 4 of us traveling. I told him I will contact him back the next day. He calls me at 10pm the same NIGHT!!! I do not answer as I am sleeping, then he emails me and jacks up the price!!! Terrible customer service! Learned from our "nightmare" experience with Laura's Shuttle to ALWAYS check a businesses rating with the Better Business Bureau, before utilizing their services. LAURA'S SHUTTLE has a standing "F" rating. Wish I had looked into this business before booking our transportation needs. We had multiple issues with their service in September of this year. The shuttle they sent for us was very poorly maintained. It overheated, the windows did not open and the air conditioning did NOT work (or there was no air conditioning at all.) From our pick up at the Sleep Inn Airport Orlando, to Port Canaveral it was like being in a traveling sardine tin with a sauna that you could not escape from! Our 11 month old grandson was with us and he suffered immensely. He cried and screamed the entire ride, as the conditions were unbearable! When we were picked up at the hotel the driver told us the air conditioning would be fixed for our return ride from the Port. Giant Lie. We got the same shuttle, No air conditioning and we waited over two hours at the Port Canaveral terminal in the sweltering heat for the shuttle to arrive. When the shuttle did reach the Port, the driver DID NOT know how to navigate the grounds and our son had to chase down the shuttle, board the vehicle and tell the driver how to get to us. We were in contact with Laura's during our lengthy wait. They wanted us to walk through the Port grounds, cross the street with a baby, stroller and a weeks worth of luggage, to be picked up. I talked with several security agents at the Port who know ALL the Shuttle services that service the Port. They had NEVER heard of Laura's Shuttle, yet their website promotes them as Orlando's premier shuttle service. When we finally arrived home from our vacation, I contacted the Sleep Inn to tell them of our experience, as they are the folks that recommended Laura's Shuttle. I was told by a female employee that the manager would call me back, as he was "out walking the grounds" at the time of my call. Never heard from him. I have a suspicion that management at the Sleep Inn and "Mike" with Laura's shuttle are either related or have some relationship. I contacted "Mike" with Laura's and told him of our ordeals with their service and he told me he was a "man of honor" and would "take care of us." He told me he would credit my credit card $100.00 for our troubles. Three months later, countless phone conversations, promises and excuses on his part, the credit has never happened. I contacted the Better Business Bureau. They in turn gave Laura's until the 17th of this month to respond. Guess what? No response. I see now after reading numerous poor reviews on Laura's, that this is how "Mike" operates across the board. He has NO scruples. He is entirely dishonest. He got our money, We got the shaft!! This is a family business and vans are not brand new like the big players. Still the ride was comfortable. There were no holes in the floorboard, and the tires stayed on the vehicle.We knew nothing at all about the service between Orlando Airport and the Cruise Port. They offered the best rate and answered the phone on the first ring. Something that I liked, there was no extra charge for tolls. We did give the driver a 10% tip. For us, we were "shuttled" early and returned to the airport without delay. If going again, we would be a repeat customer. read more

This shuttle service is a running disaster. Our shuttle service was booked privately for a wedding party. Four people were added to our private shutle without our knowledge. Laura's shuttle service did not correct the problem over the nexr 7 days. On our return shuttle our "private" shuttle was forced to wait over an hour and a half for other people to show up. Laura"s shutle service is unprofessional and will be a colossal mistake if you choose to book them for your charter service. read more

My husband and I flew into Orlando and were taking a cruise out of Port Canaveral. We selected Laura's Shuttle for our transportation because of what appeared to be a smaller business offering more personalized service. Boy, were we wrong! We paid in advance for what was supposed to be roundtrip service from our hotel to the port and back. The first leg of our trip was without problem. A 10-person van arrived at out hotel on time and got us to the port as promised. The return trip was awful. Laura's asked all passengers to be on the dock with our luggage between 9 and 9:30, but to call them that morning before 8:15AM to let them know when we would disembark. When we called we were told to call again when we were off the ship. (I'm not sure of the purpose of the first call.) When we called again we were told to locate a 57-person bus which would be our return transportation. We found the bus, boarded it, and waited for other passengers. (While waiting we saw out the window a Laura's Shuttle van outside.) When 9:30 came, and the driver was about to leave, other passengers on the bus started yelling that they had family members who had not yet arrived and we needed to wait. The bus finally left at approximately 9:50. Once on the road, the driver announced that he was taking everyone to the airport. My husband went up and spoke to the driver, who told him that he knew nothing about a hotel drop-off. We called Mike from the bus and explained the situation. He said that he needed to call us back. When he did, he told us to get off the bus at the airport, gather our luggage, call him again, and he would send a car to get us. Needless to say, this was not the service we had paid for. (Our bus driver felt bad for us and after making the airport drop-off he was kind enough to drive us to our hotel.) I would definitely NOT recommend Laura's Shuttle for your transportation needs. read more

Just returned from a cruise out of Port Canaveral....used Laura's Shuttle from our hotel in Orlando to the port..and again from the port back to the Orlando airport. No problems at all! They were there when they said they would be there..and it all went very smoothly!! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again on our next cruise. The drivers were great, and they made an extra effort to get us to the airport as wee needed to get there a lttle earlier than expected. Use them..you wont be sorry that you did! read more
