Paula was referred to me by my Dr. For me, a recommendation coming from a physician, doesn't get any better than that. I had scarring that needed tattooing. Paula measured the areas and her colors of choice were to make sure the tattoos looked natural, My scars disappeared. She blended everything so well, I couldn't see the scars anymore. So, I trusted her to redo my eyebrows that had turned orange after I removed a bad micro blading. She had to do a complete color correction. I saw Paula over late summer into winter for my brows, eyeliner, and lips. I have been following the Studio and her work for a very long time and felt that she had the expertise to create more definition in my face. I booked an appointment with her and waited over a month to get in. Two days before my appointment my beloved dog passed. I knew I could probably reach out and reschedule my appointment but my boyfriend encouraged me to take it as the pampering session that I desperately needed. I went in that morning still puffy-eyed from crying and Paula was just so darn sweet to me. I am a very busy stylist and unaccustomed to being on the other side of the chair. So I was really touched at how kind and empathetic she was. She's a gem. And my boyfriend was right, it was nice to be on the receiving end of care. We talked about her dogs and her family and we talked about my Roxie and job it just felt nice to make small conversation with no pressure. The space was super chill and I fell asleep a few times because I was so relaxed and the process was completely painless. At the end of the service I really did feel so much better and I was thrilled with my results. I made a booking for a lip blush that same day and I've come back two more times since then to finish off the whole look (which has only looked better and better with time). Her work speaks for itself. No one knows my brows aren't real, they look legit and fluffy. Highly recommend this shop if you're considering cosmetic tattooing. Also, I can't handle pain, or even real tattoo's, but this is fine. You get nice and numbed up. Paula is the OG. For years, I was overfilling my sparse brows, spending 10+ min every morning for underwhelming results. I desperately wanted a more permanent option but wanted to be intentional about my technician choice. One uneventful night, I happened to stumble on Laurel's insta and was floored at how "hair-like and natural" the results looked. I ended up scheduling time with Paula right away and she was able to fit me in for the following week. I was a bit nervous going into my first appointment but the aesthetic salon + Paula's friendly demeanor immediately put me to ease. The first appointment took right around 1.5-2 hours. Pain level was bearable and it was fun to chat with Paula throughout the process. Admittedly, there were bits where the pain was more intense, but Paula was able to supplement with more numbing cream. When I saw the results, I was amazed at how fluffy and natural my brows looked. My friends all warned me that my brows would be unnaturally dark for the first week but they were nothing of the sort. My brows looked the best they ever did. Now over the next 2-3 weeks, they began to lighten and I was a bit worried that my results were not as great as I had initially thought.
