My husband went in to get Street Rod tags for his car and was in there for a hour and was given every reason under the sun on why she couldn't process tags for him. He went 2 minutes down the street to MARYLAND SPEEDY TAG AND TITLE and was in and out in less than 10 minutes with great customer service. Laurel Tag and Title is a gem. They provide outstanding customer service at an amazing value. My wife's oncologist recommended getting a handicap placard due to all of her treatments, scans, etc.... After filling out the application I decided to use a tag and title business to handle the legwork. I'm an old man who has been in the automotive industry all my life and I've never used one of these businesses before. After calling around to 3 other places I was getting discouraged because of the 2 to 3 week wait I was told it would take, the ridiculously high fees I was quoted, and the lack of knowledgeable people I spoke with. My 4th call was to Laurel Tag and Title where Tina took the time to explain the process to me clearly. She texted me the address and directions to her office and emailed the documents she needed my wife to complete. Tina even took time on the phone to talk us through our lack of tech-savvy with E-Documents. I dropped off all the paperwork to her that afternoon and the next day, less than 24 hours later, she called and said the placards were in. Absolutely amazing! I contacted them to assist me in registering my car in Maryland. I am a former Maryland resident who moved to DC in November of 2019 (less than a year ago). I am not back in MD and tried to register. I told them all of this. They took my paperwork and stated they would handle everything. When I asked a price estimate they told me I found find out once they got the title from my dealer in a week. I waited a week and got a call. They stare it's $405 to register my car. $405!!! And that was for temp tags. They stated I needed to go get it state inspected to get final 2 year tags. I reiterated that I am returning to MD but they insisted this price was correct. They state I would have to come back and pay more money to get the final tags. I went to the actual MVA office and left with my tags in 45 minutes same day. Total of $155 dollars paid. No state inspection. I'm confused why their price was so much more?? I get a service fee but 405 from 155? read more

Do not use these people. Tina Davenport is extremely rude, she even hung up on me when I was trying to locate my title they never sent me. They then told me I had to pay for a duplicate even though they never sent it to me and said if not oh well. I've never done business with anybody that hung up The phone on a customer looking for something they paid for. It's comical. But all in all please don't do business with these people read more

Well, coming from VA i never expected to have this kind of headache transferring my licence and registration over to another state. Laurel Tag and Title walked me through the process, and gave me recommendations and assistance. They even recommended I go to the MVA myself to resolve any potential issues I might have, while they would process the paperwork themselves, given the situation it was in my best interest to handle it on my own. I saved $35 (their processing fee) and was able to pay only 3% tax (instead of the proposed 6%, and even though i ultimately didn't use their services they were still extremely helpful. The entrance is in the back of the building and it is part of an office with an insurance company. read more

After making few attempts to other locations so far this one is the best. I stopped by after hours and knock the door few time and when I walked back to my car the lady(owner) opened the door and she said although she's already close for the day she's still willing to take me it only took me 10-15 min, she was friendly and nice. I will go back to this location in case if I purchase another car! read more

Do not use these people, they processed my tags wrong so I had to go back to return my tags and was told that I had to pay by check when they previous told me I could only pay by credit card so they had to delete my credit card transaction, they forgot to give me my credit card back so I had to return for a third time and was told I had to wait two days for my tags to be processed. I told them I was leaving on vacation so I needed my tags as soon as possible, they told me they would call me as soon as they were ready, they didn't, I had to call them. Then, they tell me they charged the wrong amount and I owed another $168, when I questioned it, they put me on hold for 20 minutes and then said they made a mistake, that I didn't owe anymore. The guy that helped me was worthless, the only words he knew were "cool beans" which he repeated at least 15 times. Not professional at all. read more
