The wonderful ladies here are always happy to prepare your breakfast sandwich with plenty of love. I always get the Turkey Bacon Egg and Cheese Croissant and now my coworkers are asking me to bring some extras with me to work in the morning! Hand-made donuts, cheap breakfast sandwiches, sliders, all in an old Little Tavern building. Rolled in here Saturday morning craving some sliders; they usually don't serve them until lunchtime, but the nice folks slapped some fresh ones on the grill for me. Take THAT, McDonalds! These were thicker than the old style perforated grey slabs, but they were served on grilled onions and a steamy bun and tasted awesome. Picked up a dozen donuts and they too were great; fresh, soft, not too sweet. I'll still go to the Tastee across the street for a sitdown meal, but for a bag of sliders or donuts, this is the place. I lived in Laurel for 4 years and never even noticed this place because it is so non-descript.. I remember passing it all the time but not ever trying it based on the look of the building. We are happy to have found our new doughnut place! The glazed are very light and perfectly sweet. The cinnamon cake doughnut is one of the best I've ever had. It is divinely crunchy on the outside and so soft, crumbly and moist on the inside. We plan to return. So long Dunkin Donuts. This small mom and pop donut shop was really great. The food here was delicious, I got a steak and eggs breakfast sandwich and half a dozen donuts. The sandwich was great but the donuts were amazing! Very unique donut taste that you cant get at a Dunkin Donuts. Service was pretty quick and this is a local gem you don't want to miss! 5/5 coming here whenever I'm in the area. read more

My dad and brother brought these back yesterday and got a box of the twisted glazed donuts. They were incredibly soft and sweet but not too overly sugary. Its definitely a dive, it literally looks like a tiny shack next to some auto repair places but the donuts are amazing. read more

Would have got more stars but the customer service is severely lacking. When I walked in I received a dirty look. Then I asked what filling was in the donut she says custard. Then I go to get a plain one she says well that has jelly in it. So I told her nevermind I don't want a half dozen. That really pissed her off. Very small selection at 12 on a Sat. I always pass this place. So one morning my boyfriend and I decided to try it out. Walked in and instantly started to sweat. It was hot as hell in there! Also it was awkwardly quiet. I said Good Morning and she kinda said it back . I asked her if we could have a minute. The menu was on sloppy hand written/ half typed pieces of paper that had been taped on to frames. While we looked the whole time she starred at us. Not like anywhere else I've been. She stared straight at us like we were bothering her by just looking. I really felt super uncomfortable and my boyfriend ordered a burger and I a breakfast sandwich. We got our food and left to eat in the car. Both of us at the same time said we wished we had just walked out due to the food being whatever tasting I could have made both meals at home nothing special, also both of us felt very unwanted. Then he told me that when we walked in the lady switched the power switch to the fridge when we walked in. If i would have seen that we would have defs walked out. I went around 9am on a Saturday morning and the selection was ok but not great so get there early. There's not much seating so best to get your doughnuts to go. I live in Arlington VA but can see more of these Saturday morning excursions in the future. The doughnuts are fresh, light, flavorful, and only about $7/dozen. The blueberry and boston cream doughnuts were outstanding and the glazed were good. In my view, its surprisingly hard to find really high quality doughnuts -- this place gets it done. Consider getting breakfast at the diner across the street and having these doughnuts as "dessert". read more

I LOVE this place! It's a hidden gem in a rundown little building, but the food is full of love. The doughnuts are so light and fresh...They melt in your mouth. The glazed and maple are my favorite. I also like the glazed and cinnamon twists. The breakfast sandwiches are good (nothing too special, but real bacon, eggs, sausage on plain wheat or white like you would make at home). not really a fan. i was expecting a nice place to sit down and enjoy some breakfast donuts and coffee but the place is really small and seems like it caters to the 9-5 crowd who pick up and go. the hours posted are wrong and they close at 5pm. the donuts were ok, im sure they'd be better if we got them fresh. but im biased as i just had some donuts from the amish farmer's market a few days earlier. all in all i dont think i'll be going there again. read more
