    Flys on donut

Came for a coffee and a donut. When I looked at the donut shelf, I noticed a bunch of maggots swarming around the donuts. Honestly pretty disgusting because you never know where those fly's have been. It could be avoided if they had a way to close the shelf

I should have posted this two months ago, but I want to finally acknowledge and thank London who works at this location for her excellent customer service. I came in one morning needing like 7 dozen donuts and 5 or 6 boxes of coffee and London went above and beyond to make it happen. Instead of treating me with annoyance for the last minute order, she assured me that she could get it done. I was beyond impressed and the teachers and staff at our school were so grateful. Thank you, London. You rock!

She smooshed it a little. And it tasted a little hard and dry. No good !! :(

I've been wanting to try their iced coffee just to switch it up from Starbucks. I downloaded the app and it offered me a free drink, so why not! I'm used to a drive thru but this location does not have one. Walked inside, and they were fully staffed. Around 4-5 people but I was the only one inside. I ordered a large iced mocha latte and one chocolate sprinkled donut. It cost over $1 for 1 donut which I think is a little over priced but the service was quick, fast, and efficient. Not very friendly but straight to the point type of service. There is a small language barrier but all in all just a nice simple regular coffee shop. The coffee itself tastes pretty good as long as you mix up the chocolate syrup on the bottom. If not, be prepared for rush of chocolate sweetness in your mouth with the first sip! Location is easy to enter but only one way to exit which is turning right, it has its own parking lot but minimal space so if it's filled up, you don't really have anywhere else to park and it's hard to turn around as well.

I hadn't tried DD before, but when they bribed me by mailing a punch card good for 6 Mondays of free iced tea or coffee, I stopped in. Nice little store, friendly service. The dark roast was robust with a little bite, exactly what I would have expected. I'll be using the rest of the punches and we'll see after that, as the location closest to me has its entrance right in a very busy T intersection. Oh, and there's a Baskin-Robbins as part of the store. Fond memories since I worked part time in one as a teenager. Yeah, B-R has been around that long :-)

Slow service inside and big line outside but always clean and bright. They really need to be more organized or have more people on shift for a 9am Monday

I always get an iced coffee. Went last week and cashier at window did not have gloves or mask on. She should have been wearing protection.

I just love this spot. I've been coming here over the years to get my fill of Pennsylvania Dutch…read moretreats, which allows me to get from DC without having to drive all the way to Pennsylvania. This spot has so many wonderful food stands. Upon walking in, you can pick up a cart to explore all of the stands. My kids love this place as much as me since you can find so much variety. Our first stop is the very busy Amish soft pretzel stand. My kids love the standard soft pretzel dipped in melted butter and topped with rock salt. My personal favorite are the stuffed soft pretzels like the pretzels stuffed with roast beef and cooper sharp cheddar. Nothing tastes better! There are also many other stands that offer fresh produce, meats, cheeses and baked goods. I particularly like Bieler's Donuts, the same place you'll find packed lines in Philadelphia right here. It's such a fun place and my kids love it. But most importantly, this is dad's spot!

In the most visually-exciting sequence of Director/Writer Jalmari Helander's 2025 film Sisu: Road…read moreto Revenge, three Soviet Ilyushin II-2 Shturmovik ground-attack planes attempt to bring down the KraZ-214 armored, military-transport truck driven by the hero who single-handedly turned the tide for the Finns in the earlier film and in the sequel, set in 1946. Using his wits, his ingenuity, and unparalleled levels of skill and perseverance, Aatami Korpi, who earns the moniker of "the man who cannot die," escapes not just bombs and machine gun fire but a plane deployed as a missile. And yet, the most moving moment of the film is not found in one of its many arresting action sequences but in a single line of dialogue, spoken by one of six Finnish men, who, along with one teenager and one boy, carrying hatchets, axes, and tools, interrupts the battle-finished Korpi's work on his new home to ask in Finnish, subtitled in English, "We thought you might need some help?" Speechless and shaking with relief and joy, Korpi watches the strangers get to work on his roof, walls, and foundation. That level of kindness, assistance, delight, joy, skill, and service can be seen in every vendor at the Dutch Country Market Thursdays through Saturdays at 9701 Fort Meade Rd in Laurel, MD. Whether it is homemade pretzels, pasta salads, chili, produce, meats, cheeses, popcorn, donuts, or varieties of dark chocolate, candy, or fudge you seek, you will find plenty to whet your appetite. Mind you, most, if not all, of everything contains zero preservatives. Our advice is to buy what you can enjoy soon or share your purchases with company before it's too late.
