After seeing so many great reviews about this place, I had to try it myself. I anticipated a long…read moreline to get in, as people had been saying that you order and pay at the counter. I showed up around 5pm and sure enough there was already a line forming in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is located around a neighborhood, so you have to find street parking, which can be challenging. I already did my research on what I wanted to order, so my process went fairly smoothly. I imagine some other people were not as prepared and asked a lot of questions at the counter which can make the wait time even longer for other people in line. We ordered caesar salad, pizza focaccia with soppressata, squid ink tonnerelli, and ribeye tagliata. We also ordered some glasses of wine. After ordering, they walked us to our table inside. This location used to be a bbq restaurant- shady grove- before they closed down. And wow I was so impressed by the change of the patio vibe. It looked way nicer now under Due Fuori. I truly believe the vibe of a restaurant is equally important to the quality of the food, and this place nailed it. Also, apparently you can still order more stuff even after you're seated. They don't really have dedicated server for each table but the service was pretty efficient in my opinion. Now the food, everything was delicious, I have no notes! Caesar salad, very good. Pizza, omg amazing. And I'm not a pizza kinda person, so this is really a compliment! It's the thick kind of pizza, and they put some honey on it too which makes it even more delicious to me. Next was the squid ink pasta, another delightful dish. My only complaint is that it's not big enough of a portion, haha! The ribeye tagliata was so good. It was served with some salad that's very refreshing. The server explained to us that the original dish comes with the greens and cherry tomatoes underneath the meat, but they serve it separately to keep the freshness and crunch. The meat has some nice crust on the outside, very flavorful. We ended up taking some of the ribeye home, as we were already really full. It was plenty of food to share between two people. I definitely will come back to try other dishes, especially the other popular pasta dishes. This place has been really popular and I heard the line is still long even after a few months (or maybe it has been a year now?). Definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Italian food in town. Very hip, vibey place, and delicious food!

One thing I really appreciated was that he took the time to let us sample a couple of different wines until each of us found one we truly enjoyed. That level of service made the experience feel personalized and never rushed. I ordered the cacio e pepe, and it was delicious--simple, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. Between the excellent food, the thoughtful wine recommendations, and the outstanding service, it made for a wonderful dining experience. I'll definitely be back and would recommend Caffe Fiore to anyone looking for great Italian food and exceptional hospitality.

The hostess at the stand that night was all over the place and people were complaining asking where she went and no one knew, but we all noticed once a line began to build, she would disappear. I would recommend making a reservation just so you have a solid place in line and so you're at least ready to be seated. Angel our server was fun! We loved his energy, it wasn't over the top and it was very mellow, but also he was on top of everything and checked in with us and gave us great suggestions for drinks, appetizers, entrees. I will say, this place looks fancy and expensive and also a dream. The outdoor seating is like you're eating in a countryside in Europe and not in Downtown Los Angeles. We sat outside and our table featured a sofa as one of the seating options. We had the best girl dinner and were able to catch up over drinks and food and Candlelight and I didn't want to leave. I had the pizza, my sister had the filet mignon and one of us had the pasta . The calimari was good as the starter and they also had house bread which was so good. The Settecento pizza was my favorite and their pizzas are delicious, light, airy, full of flavor. My sister said her filet was ok but the mushroom sauce was delicious. For dessert, I believe we ordered the Tortino and the Tiramisu and both were great but the Tortino was a little better. I ordered the Toki Pona to drink and couldn't finish it but it was very good. Definitely recommend eating here to everyone. It's great food, ambiance and our server Angel took great care of us.

We decided to come here for my fiancés birthday the other night. We hadn't been here before but…read morewe're very happy we came. He's vegan, and I'm currently following a plant based diet, so it seemed like a perfect fit. We actually found the restaurant after looking on the app InKind (highly recommend btw!), specifically for places with vegan food. They have a parking lot on the side of the building. Not many spaces but grateful for the option! They have seating outside and inside, and I guess inside is both "restaurant" or "dining room." Not sure the difference, but we sat at a table close to the window which was nice. The inside decor is really cute. Beautiful string lights, cookware on the walls, and there was even an old movie playing on a projector. It felt pretty authentic and adorable. Servers were very attentive. We had Adi and he was really sweet. We were brought water right away. And they serve fresh vegan focaccia bread with a DELICIOUS pesto sauce before your meal. Honestly, that pesto is something I want to take home and drink. So good. We decided to both order from the vegan menu. When else can you get fresh vegan Italian?! We got their version of vegan carpaccio as an appetizer. Which was oddly turkey based? (Vegan of course). But truly one of the most unexpectedly yummy things I've had in awhile. The mayo type sauce on it was delicious. The lettuce and capers were a great touch. And it had some sort of mustard stuffed olives that I could eat forever. My fiancé got the lasagna as a main. And I got the pesto spaghetti. Ironically I ended up liking the lasagna more and he liked the spaghetti so we swapped haha. Both were delicious. As someone who isn't vegan and loves meat and cheese, I can confidently say that lasagna was one of the best I've had in so long. At the end they treated him to a delicious small vegan ganache cake and a birthday candle. It was simple and appreciated. The only negatives I have is that the wine was pretty pricey for the bottles they had. And even though I requested a booth (they had several open), and mentioned the birthday in the reservation, I had to repeatedly mention the birthday, and we got seated at a table. Little things, but still something I wish was different. Overall will definitely go back though!

The Italian dishes taste completely authentic--exactly like the meals I've had while traveling in Italy. As a major bonus, their vegan options are absolutely PHENOMENAL. They have an extensive selection that doesn't feel like an afterthought at all. It is on the pricier side, but for the quality of the food and the overall experience, it is 100% worth the price tag. I am most certainly going back again. A must-visit spot in Los Feliz!

Excellent selection of wines! They are also offering Bubbles and Shells (Sparking Wine and Oysters) on Friday and Saturday nights! Our food today, Michael's Burger with handout fries, N'Daju Toast, and The Benedict. Cocktails today, Ciacco D'oro and a Mimosa. Cappuccino and coffees were great. Cocktails at Michael's are excellent. Definitely one of the best places in Long Beach for a cocktail! Creative and consistent. The burger is the best one in town if you are craving that juicy type of burger, which I was. Done perfectly. I order it rare, they know how to serve it rare! Now served with handout fries instead of chips, still amazing! We finished our meal with a wonderful Gelato, on the house! Mint chip and just amazing! Looking forward to more Brunches and of course happy Hour!

I usually avoid pasta and red meat, and at first glance the menu didn't seem to have any chicken options, but since it's Michelin-rated, I decided to give it a chance. I'm so glad I did -- because when the food is this delicious, who needs chicken? We ordered the Casonzei pasta and it was hands down the best pasta I've ever had. The pasta itself was incredibly delicate and light -- nothing like the heavy feeling you normally get from a pasta dish. The amount of filling packed into each piece was unbelievable, and somehow they managed to keep the dough perfectly intact. The flavors were absolutely incredible. I also ordered the fish of the day, a white fish similar to halibut (I wish I could remember the name), and it was perfectly prepared. Light, juicy, and paired beautifully with the sauce. Even the cabbage was amazing -- and that's coming from someone who usually has to force herself to eat vegetables. We also shared the prosciutto with stracciatella, which was another standout. Everything tasted exceptionally fresh, the prosciutto was sliced paper-thin, and the creamy stracciatella paired perfectly with the crispy toasted bread underneath. To round things out, we ordered the roasted potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and somehow even the vegetables stole the show. I actually ate the leftover Brussels sprouts for breakfast the next morning. The service was every bit as impressive as the food -- polished, attentive, and exactly what you would expect from a Michelin-rated restaurant. Unfortunately, I left my phone in the car during dinner, so I didn't get any photos, but there are plenty on Yelp. I can't wait to go back and would absolutely recommend it. They get very busy on weekends since they're only open limited evening hours, so definitely make a reservation ahead of time. They offer valet parking for $12, and while there is free street parking nearby, it can be difficult to find unless you park on surrounding streets and walk a bit.

I could go on about each thing ordered but when you order at least 8 items at least two should be great. Nope. Move along they won't be here much longer. They prey upon the convention crowd.

The Caesar salad was really good, and the branzino was honestly one of the best I've ever had - great presentation too. I'm giving 3 stars for service because we waited way too long for our bottle of wine. Sitting outside in their back patio was enjoyable, while the indoor dining area is cozy and aesthetically pleasing. Everything looks appealing and well-presented, but unfortunately, much of the food lacked flavor. I ordered the Pappardelle Genovese pasta, and although it looked delicious and had plenty of meat, it was surprisingly bland. I even added sea salt to try to enhance the flavor, but it was still only average. The pizza wasn't bad, but it's not something I would order again. The drinks were fine and looked cute, but nothing particularly memorable. My favorite item was the beet salad. It was delicious and well balanced, with mixed greens, goat cheese, hazelnuts, and a balsamic vinaigrette. That was definitely the standout dish of the meal. Overall, the ambiance, decor, and presentation were better than the food itself. While it's a nice place to visit and enjoy the atmosphere, I probably wouldn't return for the food.
