    green beans and focaccia

Such a gorgeous location and vibe! The meal was also much cheaper than I expected (for LA standards). We started with the focaccia with ricotta and honey and the green bean salad, both of which were pretty addictive. The corn agnolotti was also great, and the famous scoopable tiramisu was perfect! I really liked how they put chocolate chunks in the tiramisu for some texture. Highly recommend!

Neighborhood spot with a great space with outdoor and indoor seating. They're open for brunch/breakfast service and dinner service. They're also a good place to hang out with for drinks as well. The menu leans Italian, although you can get some universally cherished breakfast items. And the service is/ was wonderful. I came here right at opening on a Sunday morning and was able to sit right away down at the bar area inside. I was gonna grab breakfast - most likely the pancakes, but I saw that some pasta dishes were available. I ended up ordering the linguine al limone. I'm sure I would have been happy with the pancakes, but so glad I opted for the linguine. The pasta was perfectly cooked and it was a bright and tasty dish with a slight citrus zest. Such a fun dish to eat. Especially in the morning where I was able to enjoy with a nice cappuccino. Definitely a place I would like to come back and enjoy with another person or a small group. I got there pretty much right at opening on the weekend so there was plenty of street parking nearby

Very cute spot tucked away in a neighborhood corner of mar vista. Great local spot to hang out and relax because indoor and outdoor ambiance is great! They weren't serving alcohol during my visit, not sure if they don't have liquor license yet or they are non alc restaurant. The food was good but nothing stand out! Service was friendly and fast and just a great location to be in for a casual lunch or dinner

Stopped by Beethoven market as it caught our eye on yelp, our eyes did not deceive us. We kicked it off with olives and tuna carpaccio (tuna was fresh, I appreciate the simplicity of the dish with the ingredients). The octopus is the best octopus we have had in LA, not overly chewy and melt in your mouth. The broccolini had a nice char on it with a hint of lemon, a nice side dish. The fig pizza was delicious, nice crust and the toppings were paired perfectly. Lastly, the gelato (creamy not overly sweet). If you appreciate good ingredients and simplicity, you should come by Beethoven market. Parking may be difficult if neighborhood parking can't be found. Our server was attentive and friendly.

This restaurant is peak neighborhood-cute. Great aesthetic, cozy vibes, and street parking if the parking gods are on your side. No alcohol here, which is totally fine... until you realize the mocktails are still charging full cocktail prices. Sir, where's the tequila? The squash blossoms were good, although the goat cheese wasn't really my thing. The whipped ricotta with bread was tasty, but my wallet thought it should've come with a second loaf. The octopus absolutely slapped. The broccolini was bright, lemony perfection and somehow made me excited to eat vegetables. We ordered the spaghetti limone, spicy bucatini, and carbonara rigatoni. They were all... perfectly adequate. Small portions, decent flavor, but not exactly dishes that'll have you texting your friends at 11 p.m. saying, "You HAVE to try this." The green bean salad was fresh and delicious... once it remembered we existed. We had to ask about it, and it made its grand entrance at the very end of the meal. Now, the mushroom pizza? That's the reason to come. Absolute chef's kiss. If they sold it by the sheet pan, I'd make questionable financial decisions. Service could use a little tuning. Water refills were playing hide-and-seek, and we noted a birthday in our reservation and reminded our server, but the birthday was ghosted harder than my high school crush. Would I come back? For the mushroom pizza, octopus, and broccolini? In a heartbeat.

Came here for lunch with my sister. There are both indoor and outdoor dining options and both are fantastic! For a more elevated dining experience, I would consider eating indoors. This place is located in a residential area. I didn't have any issues with parking, thankfully. Food: the food was pretty good! The dish that stood out to me was a tomato cucumber salad. The dressing was fantastic and it's just a really fresh and delicious salad. We also ordered the green beans salad which felt a little heavier than I would have liked. It was still decent though. We split the focaccia sandwich. Honestly, the potatoes were stand out lol. The focaccia itself was pretty good. I prefer it a bit crispy on the outside, but that's just my preference. It's a perfect sandwich to split! Flavors were good, but could be a little bit more flavorful. Definitely tasted fresh though. Got the clean slate mocktail. There was a bit too ginger for my liking, so probably would not get that in the future. My sister knew a little bit more about the history of this place. Apparently they lost their liquor license so have a very full-fledged mocktail menu. This place is perfect for a lunch and/or pregnant ladies lol. All in all, the food was very fresh. Robert, our waiter was kind and gracious. I kind of wish he was a little bit more transparent about some of the dishes, but still great experience overall Will definitely return!

Fantastic bolognese pasta that honestly had me getting that I only ordered one. The broccolini was seasoned with some sort savory sauce that honestly had me realizing it was probably the best broccolini I'd had in a long time. Lastly--the mint gelato with the chocolate shell was insane. I mean insanely good. That alone could be a food group.

Food was good and fairly priced. My most favorite dish was Duck pappardelle. I like the fact that pasta here was not too salty like other places. Dessert was ok. Service and ambience were good. Free street parking around neighborhood.

We stopped into this fun, dimly lit restaurant that feels tucked away in a neighborhood and immediately loved the atmosphere. It has a cool, hip vibe inside that makes it perfect for a date night or a night out with friends. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, side salad, duck pappardelle, and the suppli al telefono. Everything was delicious, and every dish that came out of the kitchen looked just as good as what we ordered. One thing to note is that it's an alcohol-free establishment, but that was no issue for us because the mocktails were fantastic. Thoughtful, flavorful, and a perfect complement to the meal. The menu feels creative without being intimidating, and the whole experience left us wanting to come back and work our way through the rest of it. Definitely a spot worth checking out.

Super cute spot in Mar Vista that was super busy on a Friday night. Was able to find parking pretty easily in the neighborhood. The staff was extra cautious with the menu for my allergy to balsamic vinegar and wine which is much appreciated, but also unfortunately eliminated quite a bit of the menu. Mocktails were good (check their IG for updates about the drinks list). The focaccia with whipped ricotta was tasty. So was the special pesto burrata and peaches appetizer, which was the highlight of the night. Cornribs were tasty with a fun butter that reminded me of elote but a little tricky to eat. I should have just gone with one of the regular pizzas but got the carbonara at the servers recco and wouldn't order that again. Don't sleep on dessert, the chocolate semifreddo comes with a delightful chocolate crunch.

A lovely beautiful restaurant in Mar Vista. The restaurant was lively on a Sunday afternoon, and we made brunch resys for 12pm. Wish we did outdoors because the weather was so nice; and indoors can get a tad too loud. Everything on the brunch menu sounded delicious, we went with the Cacio E Pepe egg toast, zucchini pizza and seasonal peach and burrata dish. We LOVED the zucchini pizza (dough/bread was delicious and the toppings complimented the dish so well). Cacio e Pepe eggs were fun, toast was a tad burnt. And the seasonal burrata and peach app was fresh and light. Our server offered hot sauce without notifying us that it was an additional $2. If we had known, we wouldn't have ordered it...wish they would let their customers of this extra charge moving forward.

Fabulous Italian neighborhood restaurant in Mar Vista! Beethoven Market delivered on flavor and professional service. The fresh grapefruit juice was tangy and refreshing- so good! The chicken-stuffed fried green olives were savory and super tasty as well. The broccolini was lemony and tender, while the cacio e pepe was creamy, warm and peppery- delicious! The atmosphere is perfect for a date night, relatively upscale but definitely still approachable.

This is one of those LA restaurants that everyone is talking about on social media but when you go, it ends up being not as good as you thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, nothing was bad, but nothing was great. And for the price, I'm just tired of going to these restaurants that are "the hot new place in LA" but it ends up being just whatever. I went with a group of 10 and tried about seven dishes and nothing really stood up to me. I most likely won't go back just because I think you're better off somewhere else. It's a cute vibe for sure but there's also no AC, so prepare to sweat a lot during the summer if you go.

I was instantly so glad we chose this spot to celebrate our anniversary because it was the perfect setting for a romantic date night. Now, let's talk about the food! Everything we ordered was delicious, with the exception of the Korean aguachiles, which we probably could've skipped. We also tried the bluefin bibimbap, oysters, and the oh-so-tender short rib that practically melted in our mouths. But the most unforgettable dish was also the simplest: the Korean fried chicken. It wasn't necessarily something out of the ordinary, but it sure tasted like it. The perfect crisp, flavor, and seasoning had us eating every last piece right down to the bone. Our server also made the experience even better. She gave us some of the best recommendations and were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout the entire meal.
