I visit the location on Saturdays, where there's also a farmers market every weekend! The salon is located inside the Baldwin Hills Mall on the second floor. The salon is always pristine and you're greeted with smiling faces. I usually don't have to wait but if I do it's just a few minutes. If the brow doctor is in, you can quickly have them done while you wait. They also offer mimosas while they service you which is a nice touch. The best part, there's always some good music playing. All of the chairs are to the right when you walk in with great lighting and very large mirrors. The shampoo bowls are straight ahead from the mirrors, with big comfortable reclining chairs with a matching footrest! You really get to relax at the shampoo bowl. I highly recommend Sadou and his staff. They are all extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend them, they know what they're doin!

Yet I've stopped coming to him recently because of a few issues. For one, he cancelled our appointment the day of, without offering a reasonable time or compensation to come in and make up. I had to leave for two weeks half a week later, so I didn't cut my cut until three weeks later when I was back in town. He also crashed out on me when I told him I wasn't happy with the cut. Mind you, this was the first time I had asked for an edit and I decided to call him instead of text because I respected his craft, and the first words out of his mouth were, "Oh my god, you can't be serious." I was completely taken aback and I didn't know how to respond with how unprofessional, emotional, and condescending he was towards me. He preceded to give a poor edit without much time and attention, and that completely turned me off to seeing him again. I never understood why he got so mad when my hair never required heavy maintenance or a foil or anything like that; it was literally just a 15 minute hair cut. That situation alone was a HUGE deal breaker, and I'm still bothered by it to this day. There were also many times I sat down at the agreed upon time, and I had to wait 30+ minutes for him to finish with the current client. I felt like he was more unprofessional than reviewers had let on, but he gave decent cuts, so I never complained. It's too bad, because otherwise, I would agree with what everyone else is saying. He's a great guy except for that last month I was with him.
