This rating is solely based on my single experience today. I'd imagine they're capable of many 4-5 star ratings. I got there right when they opened and was greeted immediately. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. I'm from out of town but my mom mentioned that she had been here before and liked the owner so I tried it out for a fill and two repairs. As you will see, not bad. I was merely disappointed with the shaping of my nails which left a little to be desired. I had to ask for some crooked nails to be adjusted but the gentleman doing them was more than happy to fix them to my liking (For the most part). The almond shaping still isn't perfect but It'll so for 2-3 weeks. They were very busy right off the bat and appeared to get many calls just in the 45 minutes I was there so I'd recommend calling to see if they have a wait. read more

Horrible experience! Brought two friends... we all agreed it was horrible. I got one leg pounded on( paid extra for a long massage so did my friend) I had one calf, if can call it that- she got nothing. They wrapped her in towels and went and took care of another client ..., never said anything. Been here a few times. This last time pedicure was done in less than 30 minutes. She did the entire foot without ever having to put more polish on so skeptical if it will even stay on. I was in here after everyone and also the first out of there. She looked at phone several times throughout service. Massage was about 30 seconds, cuticles were not trimmed much. It was a bit pricey for what we got done so not sure if I will return as the quality of work was ok, but not the quality workmanship expected for the price. read more

It's one of the places, that it depends on who you go to for service. One lady there is so rude and nasty. She rolls her eyes at customers, aggressively handles their nails , doesn't make them feel welcome. Because of this, I will never go back. read more

Really great experience! So, I wasn't expecting this place to be real good. The sign outside was faded and some of the reviews were mixed here on Yelp. But everyone said it was clean and the prices were good so I thought, 'why not??' It was my 7 year old daughter and I who got pedicures. She also got a mani and I got my acrylics filled and gel put on. The staff was incredible, hardworking, detailed in their work, kind and so personable. We had a really great time. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My daughter and I went here yesterday to get our nails done and we will not be returning. Johnny was pushy about what we should get for our nails and then our nails look like complete crap. Nails are different lengths, shapes, some nails are crooked and some even have bubbles on them. Then while we were walking out one of the female workers slapped my butt. The lady that did my nails took forever any my nails still turned out horrible. DON'T go here. I had been coming here for almost a year & this place is getting worse! It often smells of Asian food & humid dirty water to the point of it not smelling like a nail salon, but a trash can! It stinks awful! Yen, the owner is very nice but she can't hire the right staff. I've tried other nail techs & they don't do my nails as good. I think other people have figured it out & so now Yen gets all the appointments and no matter what time I come, even with an appointment for her, is always in a rush! My nails look terrible & it's been 2 days! Also, she uses old files- very unsanitary. For a .50 nail file & buffer, I should be getting a new one out of the package! I can tell it is used, because has white dust on it!! One time when Johnny did my nails, he stopped in the middle to file his own nail, then proceeded to file mine again with the same file!!! Gross! $50 for dip that lifts in less than a week is way overpriced! Yen can "oh honey & sweetie" her clients all she wants, but this is a business. Ok, so this place is good enough. I'm new to Columbus and I was driving near polaris. None of the other places I saw had good reviews. This place is new. It's clean. The staff is friendly. They did great work. I got a basic pedicure and a gel manicure. The massage was great, they made extra sure my gel nails were beautiful even though my natural nails are short. The woman who did my pedicure was sweet. You could tell she loves her job and is so friendly. I will gladly come back and enjoy the great hospitality with bottled water and everything included. read more

Well I just got my nails done Monday acrylics and the lady did a horrible job one is chipped and I emailed the salon to try and come in and have them fixed and no one has responded. They aware thick in the back and the person I had an appointment with was not even working. read more

Love this nail salon! They take appointments and always give great service. I'm especially pleased with them as I've come back after the salons have opened back up to find plastic separators for pedicure chairs and the nail stations. Everyone is in a mask as well. Went here with two other friends. Their nails turned out fine. However, I was not happy with my service. The man who did by nails was making me uncomfortable the whole time. He made several comments about my appearance such as you look 14 (I'm 23), your beautiful, asked if I had a boyfriend, etc. I also told him I wanted medium length acrylics and he made them extremely short. They also charged me 60 dollars for gel acrylics with is over priced in my opinion. read more

I've given this nail salon several chances. Don't get a pedicure or acrylic services from Tommy. You'll be rushed and quality is poor. Yes, I've had my manicuring license too so yes I'm a little picky about my nails. I don't expect perfection, I expect for $50 that a pink and white balance be clean. Not cloudy. Full smile lines, etc. It should be noted I was the only one in there on a beautiful Saturday 7/23/16. What nail salons are empty on prime days?? This was the worst pedicure/manicure I have ever received. It was very clear during my time there that they were understaffed and rushing through every client. My daughter was also with me and when she was finished with her pedicure one of her her pinky toe was covered in polish, nail and skin. When finished with my manicure my finger nails looked like I had painted them and not a professional nail technician. My daughter got the dip on her finger nails and they look dull and bubbly. I wish that they would have turned us away if they were not able to accommodate us to their fullest. I feel like I just flushed my money down the toilet. The only reason that I gave them 2 stars was because my technician was very polite and personable. Having said that, my daughters technician for her pedicure could not speak any English and my daughters technician for her manicure/dip was rude. read more

Eh. First time here and sadly probably the last time. Place had potential...until I sat for about 30 mins with my feet in the water waiting on a tech. Eventually someone came to work on me...which was also going ok until he cut the cuticle so close that I started to bleed. Ouch. He walked away for a minute to go start another bowl for someone else all the while my toe was basically bleeding everywhere. When he came back he acted like he was shocked to see that it happened and also kinda laughed and said it wasn't his fault. Um..definitely wasn't my fault. Anyway... My first experience here was last year, and I probably would've given it 3.5-4 stars - okay, but not great. I recently returned this week and my experience was fabulous. The owner/manager was there and that may have made the difference! She is great, super friendly and really pays attention to everything going on to make sure everyone is being taking care of. They also have someone there who helping out, answering phones, setting folks up, helping with prepping for services. I gave them chance after chance. Why take appointments if you won't keep them? This is my largest complain of ANY nail salon that does both walk-ins and appointments. If I make an appointment, I've taken time to plan - because I have limited to do these types of things. So why make me wait 15-20-30 minutes EVERYTIME I made an appointment? Fast way to lose my business. They also only seem to have one competent nail tech who can do acrylic nails. read more

So far, this has been my best experience in a Westerville nail salon. The prices are less expensive than some other salons in the area. The staff is nice and it is very clean! Coming from NY, I find most places here very overpriced. $35 for a basic pedi/$45 for a deluxe works great for me! Will definitely come back :) read more

My pedicure turned out really well but the gel manicure started to chip and flake after 3 days.

Manicure chipping within 2 days on my daughter. My nails were cut to short and actually hurt. I had to ask to have the dead skin removed and my nails were not filed until I told the owner my nails did not get filed. The lady who did my daughters pedicure only cut part of her nails and did not clean them out. my pedicure looks like it's grown out for a week and it's only been two days.. I would like to see their licenses. The lady was thinning out the nail polish with remover which I'm sure is why it's chipping so fast. I live out of state and was visiting my friend, who suggested we go for pedi's. This is the salon she gets her nails done all the time. I have never been more frustrated. I would not even give one start but yelp doesnt allow a ZERO which they deserve. My big toes were totally butchered. I don't know who the tech was but she trimmed the nail below the bed and on an angle - one so bad that I am very concerned it is going to grow back into an ingrown nail. So my $55 pedi will turn into a $500.00 painful procedure. I can actually the tender red spots as seen in photo and the bare skin on shoes and sheets. I was busy chatting with my friend to realize the torture but am beyond pissed. The ONLY good thing is that it is not spring yet and these UGLY toes are covered in socks and shoes and not a beach or I would be too embarrassed. read more

I came here to get a manicure and pedicure for myself and my daughter. Over all the experience was nice, so I'd like to give a higher rating. The chairs were very comfortable and the place was very clean, but I have two big issues. The first was that even though I told them multiple times that my daughter was only 11 (which she is) they charged me adult prices for her. It took them 15 minutes to ring me up and they charged me $145 (i had gel my daughter did not, she also only had a pedicure, so they charged me that and she didn't even get a manicure) for the two of us. I finally just paid it to get the hell out of there, but that is the number reason I won't be back. Their price lists clearly states that 12 and under are only $25. The other issue is that a week out, my gel nails were already chipping. I've never had gel nails chip this fast. So yeah, I say go somewhere else. read more

I heard a lot of great things about the LaVie in Grandview but since the Westerville branch was closer, I decided to give it a try. It was the worse manicure and pedicure that I have ever had. I did not even get a gel or dip and was charged $60 for a basic service. The nail polish would not dry after being there for over an hour. The manicure was so bad that I had to go to another salon to get them redone. The only thing that was good was the customer service. I went to this salon two weeks ago. Everyone seemed nice but the girl who did my nails was focused on everything but my nails. She was so concerned about having someone order a pizza for her, showing text messages and shoving down pizza while I sat and waited. She almost forgot my top coat on my pedicure. Then had me sit and wait for my manicure so she could eat. Then when my gel polish started rippling on my thumb I had to call it out and she just filed it down and slapped another coat on. It still was uneven but I had already spent so much time there I just wanted to leave. Within a week 3 of my nails started splitting. I hate to give this business a 1 star review bc the other nail techs seemed to be doing a much better job but my experience was not good. read more
