The place is well kept and clean. The owners are very nice and very welcoming. The two women who assisted were nice, however did get on their phones multiple times.. maybe this is what affected the quality of my the pedicure. Which was uneven and bumpy. I had to file my nails when I got home as well.. And had a small cut that took 4days to heal before I could comfortably wear socks and shoes. We paid extra for the seasonal pedicure.. which we can to keep reminding the women about.. The 10 minute massage was actually 4 minutes. Overall the place is cute and well maintained. The staff is nice. I would be a little hesitant to coming back. But would try due to cleanliness and how welcoming the owners were. read more

This is my second time coming here and even though it's a ways away from where I live I'll probably keep coming back. Narineh is so sweet and I came today telling her I needed gel pedicure and full of my builder gel and it needs to be done before 12. I showed up a little late and she still was able to get me out on time. I told her I wanted French tip and as she was doing it I thought to myself "it looks plain"...without me even saying anything she made some suggestions and it ended up exactly how I would've asked to modify it It reminds me of when I was younger and I would go to my hair salon and all the women would just be gossiping and having girl talk. It was my first time in this salon.. Narine did my nails. I asked for hard gel, and she told me she uses a method that looks natural and thin, but my nails came out extremely thick. While filing I notice some bleeding for a whole week, both of my pinky nails were painful. It was very uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place. my pedicure was okay! Nothing special, wish my heels were scrubbed more but oh well and the nail tech was very nice. BUUUT why I gave them a 3 is another nail tech walked over and took the drill bit used on my toes off of the drill and then I proceeded to watch her, without disinfecting, put that same drill bit onto her drill then use it on her clients finger nails. Extremely unsanitary and unfortunately due to that I don't plan to return as ive seen they're openly not following standard sanitary procedures. read more

Micro blading and shadowing is the latest rave right now. One of my brows is thinner and has a different shape so I decided to get them fixed. The older I get the thinner the brows have gotten! I found this family owned business on Instagram: https://instagram.com/smartbeauty.la?utm_medium=copy_link ....and based on the incredible before and after pics I decided to give sisters Lala & Angin a go! Fingers and eyebrow hair follicles crossed! These are my brows and my face so I did a lot of research on what was out there. They just opened up their beautiful salon a few months ago and I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and stylishness of the salon. They start you off by numbing the area (takes about 20 mins) then they mark the areas before they start Microblading. They use a tool which was used originally as a tattoo device to brush the ink on in a stroke like motion. Not gonna lie it is not comfortable and feels like scraping and needling the areas after a while but no pain no gain. Beauty has a price I'm willing to go all the way for while I still can lol!! Entire process takes about 2-3 hours. Once finished I was blown away at how perfect they looked!!! Your brows are super dark when you get it done but don't be freaked out as it will fade and takes time to settle. It takes one month for the final results. Can't wait until I post my after pics for you all!! First 4 days no sun and do not get them wet!! For a week you have to apply in the morning and evening a lotion they give you lightly on your brows. Stay tuned for some before and after pics in about 30 days! Plenty of parking around the neighborhood. Please note that these ladies are perfectionists and didn't stop until they were 100% happy with their work!! They even plucked and trimmed my brows. I hate having to leave such a bad review because the lady that did my brows was very nice but i'm so disappointed with the way my brows turned out! I spent $1500 removing an old crappy microblading job; so painful and was browless for over a year. I found smart beauty on instagram and loved the "stencil " idea. Was so excited to go in and have brows again! No stencil was used just some thread measuring, so false advertising ; and the ink did not last! So uneven I had to point out to her the obvious that one was wayyyy shorter than the other. I thought ok maybe they'll look better after the touch up. Nope! Fully healed now brows faded completely, can't see the strokes at all. It just looks really bad. I hate when people advertise one thing and give you something different. read more
