I continue my hunt for a nail salon that I like. I tried this place because of construction that was occurring where I typically go to. I did SNS and a pedicure for my graduation. The SNS started chipping within 2 weeks which I attributed to increased activities that I was doing around that time. I decided to try this place again because I liked the price and figured the early chipping might've been a one time thing but nope my nails chipped within 2 weeks again! The second time I went there, I was indecisive about a color and I felt the tech was getting annoyed with me which I didn't like. My SNS typically doesn't chip and if it does, I can get 3-4 weeks with it before it starts looking crazy. The salon is really nice and they move quickly. They also provide complimentary parking in the back. I'm struggling to find a salon I love so the journey continues.

I'm modeling the nails I had done. These include tips, not my natural nail!

A Walk-In paradise!!! I went in on a Tuesday in the afternoon. Immediately I was greeted, and instantly I was in a seat getting my mani - pedi!!! I even had two technicians working at once. The bar is clean and bright, with happy customers coming in and out in a pretty steady stream! They gave me water, and were patient with me picking the perfect colors. What can I say? I'm a happy customer!

I've been here several times and always leave satisfied. Great ambiance, they validate parking, offer drinks and have friendly staff. There's rarely a wait and the place is clean, and they do a good job pretty consistently. BUT my last experience (yesterday) was awful. The nail tech made 4 of my cuticles bleed as he was giving me a manicure, and then sprayed the cuts with acetone before realizing they were bleeding. Then he put the quick clot drops on and aggressively blotted each cuticle that was already sore and burning from the cut and acetone. They were out of my first two color choices (has never happened before) which was slightly annoying. On top of the cuticle issue, the paint job was SO sloppy! It was rushed and messy and I chose the color red so every error was blatantly obvious. He also removed my previous nail color differently than anyone ever has there so I am assuming he was either new or inexperienced? I don't even want to go back to get it fixed because my cuticles are still throbbing and sore. I dont think I will go back, which is a shame because I really do like this place, but there was just such disregard for cleanliness, comfort or care, and it was honestly the most aggressive and sloppy manicure i've ever had. One other thing that has always bothered me about this place is that the metal instruments they use to give you a manicure never seem to be sanitized or come out of any clean space, they are just stored in each techs kit, which given the cuticle cuts I received just doesn't sit well with me. really hoping none of these get infected. I don't know the name of the man that gave me a manicure but everyone else I've ever been to has done a great job. Unfortunate that one bad apple spoiled the bunch for me.

I'm not going to lie, I got a bit concerned when I saw the reviews on Google and almost wanted to cancel. I'm so glad I didn't. I was really excited because I've never had hard gel done before and honestly... I don't think I can go back to anything else. The staff greeted me and my friend when we walked in and we were seated. They were super accommodating. (I was actually late because I got lost and didn't realize that there was a parking lot behind the salon and they had called me to ask if I was still showing up) I showed Jeli an inspo pic and she helped me with picking a color/base for a French ombre and she got to work. She took off my old gel and shaped and buffed my nails and an hour and a half later I'm honestly so obsessed with my mani. She really took the time to make sure it looked good. Definitely would come back to see Jeli when I come back to visit Atlanta. I think it was pretty expensive though. (Honestly no idea how much since my friend paid for me but I think I heard $155 for the both of us?) She got the bomb Mani with gel and also a gel removal. So there's probably a bunch of added costs in places.

Not sure the value is there when you don't get polish, but I understand that may be common practice to charge the regular manicure price for no polish. Overall I'm happy with the results.

I'm assuming the listed "starting at $75+" pricing allows them to charge whatever they feel is appropriate for each service. During my first visit, I absolutely loved my nails. The nail technician recreated the inspiration photo perfectly, and I left very happy with the results. I was surprised, however, by the final price and the additional $10 charge just to clean my cuticles. Every nail salon I've visited has always included basic cuticle care as part of the service, so this extra fee caught me off guard. Unfortunately, my second visit was a completely different experience. My appointment started about 15 minutes late because my technician was finishing another client. I showed her the same type of inspiration photo, and I knew she was capable of recreating it based on my first visit. She asked me twice if I wanted it exactly like the picture, which made me feel as though she was trying to rush through my appointment to get to her next client. Unfortunately, the finished set looked nothing like the inspiration photo. I paid extra for the detailed designs, but what I received was a mediocre set that didn't reflect what I had requested or paid for. Another thing that made me uncomfortable happened during checkout. A gentleman who appeared to be the manager (he helped me previously for the check-in) walked to the front and sat down while I was paying. I don't know if he was there as a witness or for security purposes, but it felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. I pay for my services without issue--even when I think the price is excessive--so I didn't appreciate feeling as though I was being monitored. I know it wasn't a coincidence because I was parked directly in front of the salon, and I noticed he left the front area immediately after I got into my car. I won't be returning. I don't want to feel rushed through an appointment, pay premium prices without receiving the quality of service I requested, or feel uncomfortable during the checkout process.

I like to stay consistent with where I get my nails done so I've been going for 3 years (although not always pleased, I'm easy going and get simple nails so usually I find someone who is good) but this incident was my last straw. For starters, every time I find a good, consistent person, they never stay more than 3-6 months. So it's exhausting getting used to someone's good work and then having a bad experience when they leave until you get someone else good. This time however, I called on Sunday and asked for my usual people. The person who I asked to do my hands wasn't in so they assured they would give me someone good. They did not. She literally tore my nail while I was supposed to get a soak off and full set then proceeded to tell me she would just wipe it with alcohol and it would be okay. Absolutely not! I am currently pregnant and in no way was I going to risk an infection getting tips and a full set over a ripped, bleeding nail. If I let her, she would've. So instead I just got polish over it bc I had an event to go to as well as wanting nails done for my gender reveal. Completely ruined my Sunday. They told me to come back in a few days once it healed but still charged me $108 total for my pedicure and manicure saying I could get a $10 discount. Wow. I expected my hands to be free considering I was injured but I let it go and just paid because I'm not confrontational. I was also told that my full set would be taken care of. I called on Friday (5 days later) and asked if I would be able to come in for the full set now that my finger was no longer bleeding / sore and was told it was okay. When I got there, I was told that my full set would be free if I removed my Google review. At the time, I hadn't made one so I told them it wasn't me. Boy was that a mistake because at the end of the service they tried to charge me $65 for the set that was supposed to be free from the jump considering the circumstances. But that's not all! The full set was supposed to be a simple ombré. The ombré was terrible. Shape was horrible and it was not blended AT ALL. The photos were taken when I was told to wash my hands bc she was done and that she would apply the top clear coat. Terrible. I guess because they knew I didn't do the review, they didn't care who did my nails. Highly disappointed. I ended up just getting polish on top bc there was no way that could be fixed. The manager tried to make me stay so that he could redo the entire set which is insane considering the trauma my nails had already gone through. Anything to make me pay. I was not about to let them soak them off AGAIN and redo acrylic. I had to go back and forth with them just to be able to walk away without paying for this terrible job done to my hands. I now have to find another nail salon to correct it but I'm waiting another few weeks. Shame on you guys. Dana has always done my toes and has always been consistent with doing a good job but that's the only person I can say that about. It sucks I can't have her anymore but I refuse to step foot in that nail salon again. I will also be posting a video on tiktok about my experiences so that I won't type much more. Avoid this place. Safety is not priority or good customer service to those who are loyal customers.

Initially, I was optimistic, but honestly the experience left me with mixed feelings. My cuticles were overtrimmed to the point of drawing blood several times, and one of my toenails was cut too short, causing some discomfort. The tech attributed it to me having "thin skin," but as someone who keeps their cuticles soft and has never had issues with bleeding during nail appointments, I found that explanation hard to accept. Also, maybe my techs were newer and still building experience, but the filing on my nails seemed excessive, leaving them thinner and weaker than usual, and that felt unnecessary for a simple gel manicure. Now for the positives. TO THEIR CREDIT, my techs worked on my hands and feet simultaneously, which made for a quicker visit which fit very well into my busy day. They did give a small discount due to my sore cuticles. And the Buckhead location is undeniably beautiful, with a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Being there just makes you feel pretty. I'd be open to returning if more care is taken with cuticle cutting and nail filing.
