I continue my hunt for a nail salon that I like. I tried this place because of construction that was occurring where I typically go to. I did SNS and a pedicure for my graduation. The SNS started chipping within 2 weeks which I attributed to increased activities that I was doing around that time. I decided to try this place again because I liked the price and figured the early chipping might've been a one time thing but nope my nails chipped within 2 weeks again! The second time I went there, I was indecisive about a color and I felt the tech was getting annoyed with me which I didn't like. My SNS typically doesn't chip and if it does, I can get 3-4 weeks with it before it starts looking crazy. The salon is really nice and they move quickly. They also provide complimentary parking in the back. I'm struggling to find a salon I love so the journey continues.

I'm modeling the nails I had done. These include tips, not my natural nail!

A Walk-In paradise!!! I went in on a Tuesday in the afternoon. Immediately I was greeted, and instantly I was in a seat getting my mani - pedi!!! I even had two technicians working at once. The bar is clean and bright, with happy customers coming in and out in a pretty steady stream! They gave me water, and were patient with me picking the perfect colors. What can I say? I'm a happy customer!

I've been here several times and always leave satisfied. Great ambiance, they validate parking, offer drinks and have friendly staff. There's rarely a wait and the place is clean, and they do a good job pretty consistently. BUT my last experience (yesterday) was awful. The nail tech made 4 of my cuticles bleed as he was giving me a manicure, and then sprayed the cuts with acetone before realizing they were bleeding. Then he put the quick clot drops on and aggressively blotted each cuticle that was already sore and burning from the cut and acetone. They were out of my first two color choices (has never happened before) which was slightly annoying. On top of the cuticle issue, the paint job was SO sloppy! It was rushed and messy and I chose the color red so every error was blatantly obvious. He also removed my previous nail color differently than anyone ever has there so I am assuming he was either new or inexperienced? I don't even want to go back to get it fixed because my cuticles are still throbbing and sore. I dont think I will go back, which is a shame because I really do like this place, but there was just such disregard for cleanliness, comfort or care, and it was honestly the most aggressive and sloppy manicure i've ever had. One other thing that has always bothered me about this place is that the metal instruments they use to give you a manicure never seem to be sanitized or come out of any clean space, they are just stored in each techs kit, which given the cuticle cuts I received just doesn't sit well with me. really hoping none of these get infected. I don't know the name of the man that gave me a manicure but everyone else I've ever been to has done a great job. Unfortunate that one bad apple spoiled the bunch for me.

Not sure the value is there when you don't get polish, but I understand that may be common practice to charge the regular manicure price for no polish. Overall I'm happy with the results.

I went to Nail Muse shop in Buckhead ( 285 East Paces Ferry Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305) recently,…read moreand after my service was completed, I realized I had accidentally overpaid. I must have entered $55 thinking the machine was asking for the total amount to charge, instead of just the tip amount, which caused the total charge to be $105.00. As soon as I noticed the mistake, I called the salon immediately. The first thing the lash tech (Vy) said to me was, "I gave you receipt yesterday, honey." I explained that it was clearly an obvious error. She then responded, "Your lashes were $50 and you added tip." I told her I would never intentionally tip more than the actual service itself. Her response was, "You did it by your hand, honey." What rubbed me the wrong way was the attitude and lack of professionalism. Instead of simply acknowledging that a mistake could have happened and trying to help resolve it, she became defensive. I had already mentioned that I planned to return for a more expensive package in the future, so I didn't understand why the situation was being handled this way. She then said, "We have camera." At that point, I was honestly confused by the response. Of course businesses have cameras nowadays. The bigger issue was never about the camera footage it was about customer service and resolving what was obviously an accidental charge. The strange part to me is risking future business and loyal clients over $55. A simple, respectful conversation could have resolved the entire issue. Instead, the interaction left me completely turned off from returning. I stopped responding because I was genuinely bewildered by the unnecessary hostility over what was clearly an honest mistake.

Excellent service from my technicians - Tony for SNS/mani & Rose for pedicure. They didn't try to upsell. The price online when I made my appointment was the price charged. Initially, I was optimistic, but honestly the experience left me with mixed feelings. My cuticles were overtrimmed to the point of drawing blood several times, and one of my toenails was cut too short, causing some discomfort. The tech attributed it to me having "thin skin," but as someone who keeps their cuticles soft and has never had issues with bleeding during nail appointments, I found that explanation hard to accept. Also, maybe my techs were newer and still building experience, but the filing on my nails seemed excessive, leaving them thinner and weaker than usual, and that felt unnecessary for a simple gel manicure. Now for the positives. TO THEIR CREDIT, my techs worked on my hands and feet simultaneously, which made for a quicker visit which fit very well into my busy day. They did give a small discount due to my sore cuticles. And the Buckhead location is undeniably beautiful, with a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Being there just makes you feel pretty. I'd be open to returning if more care is taken with cuticle cutting and nail filing.
