Vina does a great job at an acrylic fill & pedicure. However, this place nickel & dimes you for everything & that is a real turnoff. The fill is $47 which is a fair price but then they charge $5 extra for shaping the nail which I said I would not pay as that should be included in the fill price. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love my nail techs here, but the management is AWFUL.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They charge for EVERYTHING, including paying with a debit card (which is cash money)! I can see the fee for a credit card, but DEBIT? WHY? Beware if you get a set of acrylics... want them cut down or filed? You will be charged separate fee for both! I guess it's just the nail glue that is included for $57 and I'm surprised they don't charge for that. Want your feet exfoliated during a pedicure? That will also cost extra. Just look at your itemized receipt (including the debit card fee) and you will be shocked! Beware of this place! read more

I have gone to this salon for dip manicures and shellac pedicures monthly for over a year. Last year I was impressed-- quick, reasonably priced, nails lasted. My last 2 experiences is why I'll never go back. My pedicure involved scorching hot water that the technician kept forcing my feet into. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She asked what type of pedicure and I said classic with shellac. She started doing one of the luxury pedicures after my toes were painted and wasn't able to understand that I did not want the upgraded pedicure and ended up experiencing and paying for the $70 service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Then I got my nails done a few days later. I had nice long dipped nails that just needed to be shortened and a change of dip color. She immediately said since I had dip on I needed to pay $15 for dip removal, despite having my service done at the same salon. She asked if I wanted them shorter and cut them down in half right away shorter than the tip of my finger-- way shorter. Instead of soaking the nail she drilled for a long amount of time hitting my cuticles and causing me to bleed-- which is very unsanitary considering they don't clean off the drill tips before storing them and using on others. Pictured are my nails the next day-- half as long with scabs around the cuticles. I take care of my nails and it should've been a simple removal and redip-- something I had done at this salon 10+ times before but after an 1.5 treatment where it was $60 plus $15 of removal I won't be returning and I'll make sure to let others know about my experience as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I tried contacting management about my experience prior to posting this review to see if it was an isolated incident but they have not responded[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and I don't want others to waste their money like I have. read more

I came in for a gel manicure. I chose a light blue cat eye and the woman took me back. While cutting my cuticles she made me bleed on four fingers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She finished the base coat and then got up without saying anything and stood next to another woman working with another customer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She stood there for about 10 minutes and then the other woman came over to show her how to do the cat eye. She still seemed nervous about it so I said I'd pick another color, no problem. I decided to get black with a pearl chrome. They brought over the wrong chrome and after the second time of me saying it was not the right color she finally stopped and had someone come look. I was told the caps were placed on the wrong ones. She did the chrome and I noticed they were not completely covered. I asked her to go over them again and she still left them incomplete. After being there for and hour and a half, I was irritated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went to the front and was asked if I liked them. I said no I didn't and she said she could fix them for me now. I said I had been there long enough and I would like to leave.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They offered to have me come back in another day with another person and I told her I just don't want to come back to this store.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was very clear they knew the employee doing my nails didn't know what she was doing (they were telling her the steps for the cat eye and the chrome) and let her continue. I don't want to come back to an establishment that allows that. They still had me pay for half the service. I do not recommend this nail salon at all! read more

The salon itself is very nice. My nails turned out okay (on par with other walk in, quick salons in the area) but wow are they rude. I was paying for myself and my friend. They messed it up, I saw on the receipt they only charged for me. I went back to pay more, they didn't thank me or apologize and were clearly talking crap about the situation while my friends nails were getting finished up. And expensive! Two pedicures and two full sets for $260 before tip. Insane for nails that don't even look great. I shouldn't have come back to pay, I should've just left paying $140. They were probably upset because 2 of the other girls in my party were late. It doesn't mean that you don't need to be professional, and they could've told them they needed to reschedule. Yesterday I had made an appt for 3 mani pedis for noon. We showed up and waited to get greeted, then once picking a color stood around waiting for someone to acknowledge us and tell us where to sit. We didn't even get a person to start running the water in the bowls for the pedicures until 12:17. It took forever to get started. And they weren't even busy. Not only that, but the manager took her shoes off and was picking at her toes and toe nails in the middle of the salon for everyone to see. Then today, my mother's gel nail polish was chipped. Only reason this salon gets more than one star is because my technician was very nice and did a good job. Expensive salon, bad experience. Will not be returning. read more

Well I am 56 years old and I have had my nails done since I was 16 and I can tell you the technician he gave me did not know what she was doing at all. Do not work here as a receptionist! I was hired as a receptionist here and the owner did not train me and 3 days after being hired, I was left in charge of the salon. She was extremely rude to me when a mistake was made and so were the nail techs. There was a big language barrier and 0 understanding of why I was not able to do my job correctly, considering I had no training. She ended up firing me because I supposedly turned away 2 customers. This was not the case. 2 girls had come in without an appointment, wanting full sets of acrylics. I informed them we had no one available at that moment and that they would have to wait or make an appointment if they still wanted to get their nails done there. They said they didn't want to wait and so they left. It was a good interaction and they were not angry or upset. The owners sister that worked as a nail tech, who was in the very back of the salon, called the owner saying I turned away 2 customers. The owner then called me asking why I would ever do that and was very disrespectful. This became a theme in the salon, the family members that worked there would constantly call the owner with a twisted story of things that happened in the salon, always painting me in a negative light. Also, there was a woman that came in 4 times asking to contact the owner about a toenail infection she got at the salon. I would call the owner each time and she would say the same thing "tell her I will call her". She never did. Very poor management and communication skills. read more
