Everyone needs an appointment at Lavish. The owner is super sweet, professional, and does an amazing job. I had a pretty complicated nail concept and she was still able to deliver over what I even expected AND give good advice on what would make my nails look even better. I also treated my mom to a pedicure and she already has me booking another one because the pedicure tech left a really good impression on her and really helped her legs and feet feel better. Came to this salon two times. At first it went well! I got a pedicure and a manicure full set. I noticed the rhinestones did fall off easily within just 2 days. The nail polish is cheap and the finishing coat peels off making it look trashy. I asked for a simple design and they did a sloppy job. So I called back the next day to get my nails fixed. The lady looked mad doing my nails again because I requested all blue nails instead. She said it would of been nice for her to go home early and it was barely 5:30pm and they don't close till 7. They also will cut your skin when shaping your nails with no shame. The next few days I accidentally break one of my nails and I go into the salon at 9am at the time they open and I was told to wait 10-15 mins for one nail to be replaced!! While she was just sitting down not doing anything.. I ended up leaving the salon very disappointed and I decided to never come back to this shitty salon again. Very judgmental people and rude behavior. Plus they do not even know how to do a nice simple design. I can't believe I wasted my money on this place. Definitely look else where and not be fooled by cheap product. read more

I had an appt at 5:00 pm and they did my pedicure after waiting for 40 mins and after they finished someone came in at 6:00 with an appt and they left me sitting in the pedicure chair and went and took the other person and finished their nails before even starting mine. I had really enjoyed my service but noticed that my gel nails were a bit thin after I left. I just thought that maybe it was the way it was applied and shouldn't be an issue. 2 days later my nails are starting to chip off and I was shocked as it was gel but not too noticeable. 3 days another is chipping off. This is when I came to realize that I paid for gel manicure but instead recieved a regular manicure. Now I am crossing my fingers that the polish holds on one more day for the wedding I'm going to be in. read more

She was impressed with their cleanliness and adherence to state standards. I have been going for several months and I'm so pleased. Sarah is the owner and she is fierce about customer service. I typically don't write reviews but here I go. I went to this salon and had a few pedicures that were amazing. So, I just took my nails off so I thought I would give them a try for a manicure. Well, I wasn't impressed. I don't know if the manicure process has changed but I'm pretty sure he charged me $35.00 to dip my hands in cold water and to file my skin. I felt like he was in a big hurry and just wanted me out of his chair. I am a little picky but the reason I wanted a manicure is to get my cuticles cleaned up and to get a nice massage. Well, he did clean the cuticles but once that was done, he polished me with the gel polish I requested and then put oil on my hands and that was it. No massage! Being a licensed manicurist, I know what a manicure is, and I didn't get a complete manicure. Why do people get pedicures and manicures? We go for a massage. So, my review is go for the pedicure, but don't go for the manicure. read more

I did not catch the name of the lady who gave us a conjoined pedicure but it was the sweetest thing and they were very nice to accommodate us because I know she would not sit alone so she sat on my lap and anything my pedicure included she included my daughter. I visited Lavish Nails & Spa when my regular nail salon changed ownership and the service began to decline. It's always scary to give oneself into the hands of a new person with "scissors" (hairdressers included!); but I cannot tell you how pleasantly surprised I was to receive such a lovely welcome the first time I walked in, and such tender delicate care from manicurist Angel: she gave me a pedicure which was akin to having a surgeon work on my feet. On my second visit, I opted for the top of the line Purissima pedicure, and Angel's ministrations sent my heart rate down 10 points (a very good circumstance for this Senior Citizen). I recently had a manicure, and then on my last visit, another pedicure. Each time I go to the salon I relax the instant I walk in the door, knowing I will be treated royally the entire time of my appointment. I'm saving up for another Purissima pedicure, and in the meantime I would recommend this nail spa without any reservations whatsoever. read more

Hands down the best nail salon I've been to. I've gone everywhere in Modesto and all the way to Stockton and they honestly don't compare to this one. For starters her color range. She has over 1000 shades gel and regular and endless selections of little gems all different colors and sizes. Ha was my nail tech she had excellent customer service, she pays attention to detail, she is patient, gentle and to top it off she was quick. Ha also does bomb pedicures, she almost put me to sleep She was also very upfront about prices and anytime I added something she would promptly let me know the new price. she's seriously the sweetest woman. I haven't even started on the interior. It was seriously beautiful, her entire set up and it was very clean. You can see the passion for what she does everywhere you look. She really takes the time to get it right. The vibes were so calm With soothing music. I just can't express enough how great of a service her salon provides. I left with my mind feeling so at ease, relaxed and so excited about my nails.
