The main lady who acts in charge is extremely rude and very abrasive. If I could give her 0 stars I would . I even showed multiple pictures of the shape I wanted and she got mad if I spoke up at all. So unprofessional and does not understand customer service. She said "You don't know what you are talking about" wouldn't even try to make it better. My nails looked like lucky charms after she dipped them 6 times when i told her not too thick. So disrespectful i got up i was shaking from her yelling at me. I got up after i couldn't take it anymore said I'm leaving and she screamed at me saying no it's finished and she threatened me. Worst experience at a nail salon i have ever had. This was my second time getting my nails done here, the first time they did such a good job I was really impressed so ofc I came back. The first photo is what I asked for but in a light blue. My friends and I agreed to get the same colors in dip powder, but when I said I wanted an ombré they told me I couldnt get a dip ombre it had to be acrylic, even though I got a dip ombre last time.... I'm not one to stay very silent while getting my nails done, if I see somethings off I alway point it out. I asked her (Becky) to blend the ombre more and she said it would get fixed, it did not. The ombre is so uneven on each nail, some of them are basically clear french nails. Every time I tried to get something fixed it just got worse, about 3/4ths in I already decided to get them redone somewhere else. Biggest Regret? Wouldn't recommend to anyone.. spent almost 3 hours here for a full set and manicure. The woman doing my nails wasn't able to properly shape, paint or drill the acrylics so I had to wait 20 minutes for someone else to be available to fix them which meant re-filing, re-buffering, re-drilling and painting. 2 days later my nail started cracking across the middle because she drilled them too thin.. 2 days after that the nail broke completely off. I called to ask if I could come in at 7:30 when they close to have the nail fixed and I was told yes as long as they're still there working. I arrive at 7:25 after driving 20 minutes to get there and was told to come back tomorrow. So after wasting more of my time with them I'll go elsewhere for good. read more

I've gone to this nail spa twice out of convenience and both times I regretted it. The first time I left with two cuts and was charged $5 for length when I specifically ask for "as short as possible." The second time the man doing my pedi did not complete the 10 minute massage included in the "Dallas pedi" and my manicure $30 ($25 acrylic + $5 for the French tip) looks so worn out when I just did them yesterday. I've got cuts or nicks on various different fingers. I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone come here. They rush, over charge and make you feel hurried as soon as they are done. read more

Nails by Henry dip powder in L5. $40 in total $35 for dip and $5 for shape. Henry was great he made conversation and was patient with me deciding on a color and offered me drinks. Only complaint on Henry is it got a bit messy with the dip his finger was sticking to mine, my skin is still stuck to my nail, and i prefer a sharper coffin shape but it was a nice experience. read more

I had an unfortunate incident having a powder dip manicure here and getting MY RING FINGER DRILLED WITH A DRILL BIT on May 2, 2017!!! I was bleeding and most likely will have a permanent scar on my ring finger :( I highly recommend future potential customers HIGHLY consider taking their hard earned money to another safer establishment!!!! Read on if you wish to save yourself grief and possible death from an infection which the medical community may not be able to rid you of. Please read on for your own future safety... The nail tech. a male, lost control of the drill bit and DRILLED INTO MY WEDDING RING FINGER with an unsterile drill bit. Of course the cut was bleeding. The shop had NO BAND AIDS OR ANY ALCOHOL TO STERILIZE MY WOUND! I luckily was carrying a Band Aid in my purse which I taped on THE BLEEDING WOUND. THERE WAS NO POST STERILIZING CLEAN UP OF THE SURFACES MY BLOOD HAD TOUCHED. LUCKILY I DO NOT CARRY HIV OR ANY OTHER BLOOD BORNE ILLNESS!!!!! Then the receptionist went to Tom Thumb and brought a pack of Band Aids. I asked him to give me one to replace mine so I still have a Band Aid in my purse. He gave me 2 replacement Band Aids. I asked for another nail tech. to complete the service because I was partially into the whole buffing off the nail powder process. You can imagine my shock when I went to check out and they were actually going to charge me for the service and injury I received!!!!!!!!!!!! (I guess hopefully not charge me extra for the injury received!!!!) I most likely will have a permanent scar on my ring finger!!!! A horrible/terrible reminder the rest of my life of a manicure procedure gone very wrong!!!!! A procedure which should have been relaxing turned into a traumatic nightmare!!! I then PURCHASED Scar Away, $22.00 with tax. I have most recently learned after this debacle and speaking to an esthetician at Nordstm's Spa North Park, ALL nail tech's. are trained in school and should ALWAYS use a new drill bit or one that comes out of a package from being sterilized on each new client. TheyManicurists are also SUPPOSED to use BRAND NEW nail files on EACH client, which Dallas Nails Spa DOES NOT DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A question I have is, is the Texas State Nail Technician exam administered in Vietnamese or other languages besides English? Many nail technicians have difficulty speaking English so I am wondering how do they pass the State of Texas Manicurist Exam unless... A) they know how to read English but have a hard time speaking it, B) the State Exam is offered in other languages besides English, or C) some of the nail technicians have false licenses posted... I am at a loss. But will be making a report to the TX State Licensing Board about this incident. You can imagine how incensed I was to think that they were actually going to charge me for maiming my ring finger! I ACTUALLY HAD TO ASK FOR MY MANICURE TO BE COMPLIMENTARY DUE TO MY RING FINGER TISSUE BEING DRILLED OUT!!!!!!! The manager did not EVEN come to me and apologize for MAIMING my finger!!!!! Nor did he or she offer my nail service for free or any free services in the future in an effort RIGHT A WRONG!!!!!!! I paid a $10 tip to the nail tech. who completed the manicure. (Nice on my part I think BUT I FEEL LIKE A SUCKER.) Just extremely disappointed and disturbed how the whole thing was handled and deeply surprised to find there was not a First Aid kit on site. Oddly enough, they have all these little Disney Princess chairs for the youngsters to get their nails done. Can you imagine if this happened to a little 6 year old and there was NO Band Aid around!!!! Yes, "Tessa's" on 4/18/17, wrote the nail tech dremels/drills off your cuticles. They do. I don't know why. This is the only shop I know who practices this barbaric procedure of drilling off cuticle tissue. What happened to pushing a client's cuticle's back??? I went there to do my manicure with dip filling and pedicure. The guy doing my manicure did a alright job. Some nails were cricked and uneven. Also did the shape I didn't like. I asked for square and he took it upon himself to do round because I told them I was expecting a baby. I didn't really care much about the shape because I feel like he did it out of good intentions. Now the pedicure. Heavy on nail polish. The nail was thick. He made a couple nail polish errors on several nails and all he did was paint over it. The job looks like I could have done a better one myself. By the time they were done, I guess the owner had left early because I complained to one of the lady's and said they were about to close. And I said I need this fixed. The following day I call and complained about the nail and some one told me to go in and that they would fix at no charge. When I arrived the person I spoke with was not their so not even the guys that had serviced me, wanted to fix my nails. I was in a rush because I needed my nails done for a maternity photo shoot for the day after.Totally not worth almost $80 paid. read more

This place is great! I was greeted and seated right away. I went around 2:30 pm so it wasn't too busy. I got a nexgen manicure and I loved it! My only complaint is I wish they used the filing machine less to take off my previous polish hence the 4 stars, but other than that everything was great! I had a full set of dip nails with foil and chrome, some thing started happening and they started peeling a few days afterwards. Went back in and they hooked my nails back up again. I have been coming here every time I visit Dallas. I go to Ben and Anna every time. I have spent over $300 for three visits. Yesterday I had an appointment for Ombré nails. My nails looked like pink with Glitter and no ombré at all. It was late and they were getting ready to go home. I was charged for ombré service but did not receive ombré nails. I called Ben the next day to see if she could fix because I was not happy with the service because my nails are not ombré like I paid for. Ben told me that she will not fix and she will charge me full price for a new service. I am really upset and feel like Ben charged me for a service she did not perform nor did she respect my feelings as a paying customer. Ben failed to compromise and please the customer. I would have been open to paying half but not full price. They don't value customers only money in this place. Beware..... oh yeah my nail broke each time Ben did them. This is a nice location, clean and nice decor, but the quality of work is not good anymore. I had stopped coming here for a while because my nails started falling apart soon and would not last long at all. Acrylic with gel or dip on stiletto nails and the nails kept falling off. I took my daughter here for her birthday and she got a mani/pedi and the color came off when she showered. I figured because it was regular polish, so I got my 10 yr old daughter a gel mani/pedi and paid over 60.00 for her, for the color to last less than a week before it all chipped off. That's how much I pay for my own nails, and I know they sure don't spend the same amount of time nor material that they use on an adult. It was a complete ripoff to pay 160.00 for both my set and her set, and the gel on my nails began chipping on the edges and an entire nail broke off completely like it was a press on. Check prices on anything they offer before you agree on it. 60 for a child mani/pedi is way too much, even for gel. read more

I just got fills and a pedicure on Friday 5-25-18, I got my nails painted white and they are already starting to turn a yellowish white. My toe nails are already yellowing and chipping as well. They did not use the white that I had chosen when they asked me to pick a color. Plus the individual that was filling my nails jerked my hand at one point and said "Come On, give me your hand!" I told her, "I can't read your mind, let me know what you need and I will gladly give you my hand." I should have just made the right decision and got up and left right then. She could tell I was unhappy and continued to make small talk telling me how she smelled like onions during her pregnancy- not something I cared to hear about. I have been there 4 times and only 2 of them were good experiences... and as close at is to my job, I could refer all of my co workers but will not do so. I live around the area and seen a New Grand Opening of this nail salon so decided to give it a try.. Came in at like around 4pm as soon as I got off work. Came in staff was really nice at first asked them if I could get a full set and eyebrows waxed. I went in for my eyebrow waxing and the lady was nice and did a ok job on my eyebrows. Next I go in for my nails. I specifically asked the guy if he knew how to do ombré and he said yes. I was excited to show him a picture I had saved of a French type of ombré nails and he starts doing my nails. First when he put my nails I asked for them to be kind of long he proceeded to cutting my pinky nail short and the rest of the nails long. I asked if he could fix the short one and instead he cut all my nails shorter. I then told him that's not the way I wanted them so he was nice enough to take them off and put a new set. Ok new set on the length was fine shape was ok so I let him do his thing. As he was doing my nails I seen my nails were all white and you could bearly see any pink I asked if he could put a bit more pink and the rest white but he continued to dip my nails in powder not making any difference. He then tells another lady to finish my nails and the result was what I have now. One more thing, didn't leave the place until 8:30pm. I suggest if you cannot do a certain type of nail design then be upfront. I could of chosen a simple color and maybe would of saved some time. read more

I went to Dallas Nails Spa the other day for a much needed pedicure. I wanted to check them out because they are new and are very convenient to my house. It's a very clean salon, but the nail technician decided to go postal with the "cheese grater" on my callused heels. I kept asking him to take it easy because I've had other nail salons cut my heels with it and he kept telling me that everything was okay and that I just needed to relax. I knew what the end result would be and it was by far one of the least relaxing pedicure experiences of my life. While the calluses are temporarily gone, i've got one of these horrific "paper cuts" on both of my heels and it's beyond painful to walk. I'm covered in Neosporin in order to avoid infection now for the next few days. While it's a nice, clean nail salon...I can't return if this is going to be the outcome. I do give them credit for a great eyebrow wax...but please take it easy on the cheese grater! I know my heels were nasty and needed some extra work, but this is not okay! read more

I am extremely dissatisfied. In all of my life I have never paid $110 for nails and pedicure. I called and asked for prices and availability I was told to com in they are $35 for the services I want. I got there and was shown a book for my service of $35 they asked me the polish choice. I explained that. Thy charged $20 additional. I then asked for a specific design on my nails and showed a picture the nail tech do what he wanted even after being asked again. Then he had another person charge me to add rhinestones saying she'd complete my look as requested. She charged $8 more to simply do that. Then I was charged to file my nails and cut my cuticles which in total added more to my fee. In all the amount I should've been billed was only $70..how I spent $40 more in extra services and was never told there was an extra charge or shown a bill boarded price list is beyond me!! The decor is nice but the customer service is very poor. I paid 61 dollars for a gel mani and pedi. I never got offered a beverage. I never got asked how I wanted my nails shaped. The lady turned my massage chair off bc she needed to paint my nails, which I understand but she could have at least asked me or offered to put it in a slow setting. Also there is no hand massage with your gel manicure. I think there are better places to get your nails done. read more

Would have rated atleast 4 stars but i was not happy about the shape of my nails! I asked for "coffin" and he just had a really hard time shaping them! I did told him i was not happy with the results and He did try to fix them but just kept doing them worse! He also charged me 5$ extra "because to do them coffin is a longer process".
