AWESOME CUSTOMER SUPPORT! My van radio died, so I bought a used replacement on eBay for $50. I was careful to buy the EXACT same model. My mechanic told me I couldn't replace it myself because it had to be "reprogrammed," and suggested I call a dealership. I called Grava Chrysler. They told me it would cost around $160. I made numerous appointments to have the work done, and every time I showed up there was a problem--they had no record of the appointment, I needed the VIN number of the original vehicle, the guy who did that work was out that day, they don't do that kind of work, etc. It was like a comedy sketch of what deliberately bad, abusive customer relations look like. Only it wasn't funny. After numerous phone calls and 3 (dis)appointments with Grava, I gave up on them and called Lawless. Within 5 minutes, the guy at the service desk asked me for the serial number off the replacement radio, gave me a code over the phone. In another 5 minutes I had the radio "reprogrammed" and working. No $160 fee, no run-around, no incompetence and scheming to bilk a trusting customer. Just old-school helpful advice. If I ever need future work on my Dodge Caravan, these guys get my business. Grava will get nothing but bad reviews for as long as I drive Dodge Caravans (and I've owned 5 of them). read more

BEWARE - DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!! I own a Dodge Durango SRT - Because it's a high performance vehicle I have everything done for it at the dealership. I brought it in to have it looked at because my steering wheel light stopped illuminating in March of 2024. While it was there, I told them to go ahead and do an oil change. They kept the car for 3 days. When I went to pick it up, there was a huge hole on the housing of the steering wheel cover. I walked right back in to the service department, told them and they did not believe me. After arguing with one of the Service Supervisors (Steve) I did not get anywhere. I was told I would receive a call from the GM and the Service Dept Manager.. Neither of them ever called! I called and filed a complaint with DODGE and then they agreed to pay for another steering housing cover. In March - when I got an oil change I was at 41,000 miles. Fast forward 6 months to September. My Check engine light came on, to my surprise (I treat this car, better than I treat myself), brought it back to the dealership with 46,000 miles. They told me, my car had no oil. I asked them, did I have a leak, they said no. Hmm, my car wasn't due for an oil change until 46,800, so why would it not have oil? Over the summer, I had to top off every fluid on my own. And now when they said, I had no oil, I am convinced they did not do the oil change back in March. When I brought it to the attention of "Tom" the acting Service Manager, he disagreed with everything I had to say. Said he would have the GM call me the next day, hahaha, yeah sure!! The next day came and went and MR. GM never called, not surprised.. Tom called back 2 days later to offer me 150.00 to use towards my next future service at Lawless.. Thanks Tom! BUT NO THANKS.. It was never about the $$. It has everything to do with, doing the work that people pay for! I have referred so many people to this dealership. I have not one but 2 SRT's from this dealership and I will never, ever do business here again.. You've lost a really good paying customer Lawless.. Internet department very responsive and will tell you anything you want to hear to get you there. Once there the sales people are friendly but do nothing for you. If you know the vehicle you want and have secured your own financing- this may be the place for you. If you need help with financing, want to know various options or you are shopping- go somewhere else, these sales people do not want to put in the effort. read more

Contacted via Web injury - Very quick response by Patrick and was able to set up a test drive for that day in just a few minutes. Arrived at dealership greeted by Patrick and assigned to a sales specialist - Albi who was very courteous and after 5 minutes or so got us into the car we wanted to test drive, We took if for about 1/2 hour drive and even though we did not buy the car it was prep'd to where it looked new. We talked with Albi after the test and indicated we wanted to look at other vehicles and asked for follow up if anything changed with the vehicle we drove. I was driving to my grandkid's birthday party with a bowl of pasta salad in my passenger seat when a squirrel scurried across the road and forced me to swerve to avoid hitting the poor rodent. Crashed into a tree, mirror came off, scratches all over the drivers side, pasta salad everywhere. They only care about book value on their own vehicles and not the customers vehicles. The manager hid behind the sales rep and never came out to talk to us. So, I just went into Lawless jeep on Dec. 17th, 2022. I wanted to sit in a jeep grand Cherokee PHEV, I was ready to drop $70,000. He said that the one in the showroom was not a PHEV, but that he had one on the lot. I still wanted to check it out, so I decided to sit inside, as the interior would be similar. No reaction from the sales person. I tried asking questions - nothing. I asked if the front seat went back and he said "the car's not on " really? He didn't offer to get the keys, nothing. He didn't ask if I wanted to see the PHEV version, nothing. Honestly, I felt like I was bothering him. He proceeded to be on his phone/tablet and didn't even get up from his seat. The sales rep was so unhelpful and rude. Perhaps it was the way I was dressed, I don't know, Maybe he thought I couldn't afford it. I don't know. I am not sure what happened to the service here. I'm ecstatic for Lawless that business is so overwhelmingly profitable that they'd choose to let serious buyers walk away from a Jeep, especially while one of the sales managers continues racking up miles on it as a dealer demo! Rather than write the full novel-length review of everything that was awful about this experience... The highlights: - Junior was our sales rep. He was ~15min late for our appointment, and he may have made eye contact with my wife one time through our entire 45min conversation, despite the fact she was asking questions and actively participating in the conversation - Junior didn't ask us a single question (what we do for work, what we're looking for in a new vehicle, if we're considering leasing or buying, what lease or purchase terms we'd be interested in - literally not one question). Instead, he talked about himself and 'how important it is for his monthly numbers to move this unit.' He literally said 'when I win your business, which I will win your business' at least 4 times. It would've felt way less sleazy if he had instead asked us 'what would it take for me to win your business?' (but that would mean that Junior asked us ANY questions). - At the end of our conversation, Junior confirmed that he would be in touch with both a lease option and a purchase option based on the terms that we laid out for each. It's been almost 3wks and we've heard nothing from Junior. Conversely, I've received 3 follow-up emails from our appointment coordinator and another 3 emails from Lawless' Director of Business Development since our test drive, both asking if we're still interested and if their sales rep was able to answer all of our questions. I've responded to each of those 6 emails confirming that we're still awaiting proposals from Junior. They've both responded confirming that they'll remind him and that he'll follow-up with us ASAP. Junior still hasn't been in touch, but at least the 'are you still interested?' emails have stopped. - According to their online inventory, they still have the vehicle - now with ~1,200 more miles on it than when we drove it. Whatever sales manager is driving this dealer demo as their daily driver must really love it, considering we were ready to buy as soon as Junior confirmed their lowest price! (But seriously, it had ~3K miles on it when we drove it 3wks ago, and their site lists it today (8/25/20) with ~5K miles) Takeaways: Go to Brigham Gill in Natick instead - I promise it's worth whatever difference in travel time you may experience for the respect and service you'll receive. I'm in sales. I would never navigate a conversation with a prospect the way that Junior did - it's about accomplishing their goals, not mine. Primarily, he kept trying to do some razzle-dazzle with the monthly payment. Had he asked us any questions at all, he would know that my wife is a financial planner and cares considerably more about the principal of the loan, and that the monthly payment has nothing to do with our final decision. The way that Junior interacted with us (including the fact that he never followed up on the quotes we agreed upon) was incredibly disrespectful, arrogant, and unprofessional. We let him know that we only had 1hr because it was a workday, and he started arguing with us about how valuable HIS time was (apparently it's so valuable that he doesn't have 15min in his day to call or email us with the proposals we're waiting for). Some context: We currently lease a 2018 Grand Cherokee, and are 8K miles below the allotted miles on our lease. Our best friend is the sales manager at a Jeep dealership in the Carolinas, so we're very informed of what our options are and how this process should go. We worked with Julia to set up a test drive. She was delightful and responsive. Between Julia and Ryan Forbes (Director of Business Development), we confirmed 3x that while we were test driving their 2020 Jeep, their pre-owned manager would do an appraisal to determine how much equity we have on the value of our leased Jeep since we're 8K miles below the allotted mileage. This equity would be used in lieu of a down payment on a new lease. Instead, after Julia, Ryan, and Junior all confirmed that they would appraise our vehicle, Junior informs me that they're not doing any appraisals because they can't acquire any used cars due to COVID. If that's the case, then why did literally 3 people at the dealership confirm that this could be done??? At the end of our conversation when we asked Junior what the best purchase price they could give us was, he went to ask his manager - only to come back and tell us that he couldn't actually ask his manager because his manager was doing an appraisal on a leased vehicle that they're going to purchase from another customer. Wait...what??? Didn't our conversation begin with Junior telling us that they're not purchasing any used vehicles because of COVID? Well, I'm on the hunt for van and went to Lawless. I went in person the first time and then did most of my negotiating via text. (#covid) Jordanis was the individual I was "working" with. He was fairly responsive via text; I had completed the loan application and was working with him on a deal when he simply stopped responding. After a day and half of him not answering, I called the sales manager James only to find out they sold it. Awesome communication guys. Seller beware! I recently brought in my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited to Lawless to see if they'd have any interest in purchasing my Jeep. I was not in search for a new vehicle but to only sell my Jeep, which is in very good condition. Little background: I've spent the past week driving to other Jeep dealerships seeing what they would offer as well. Anyhow, the sales guy was a bit cold and rude but said he'd ask his used car sales manager. While they were looking at my Jeep, they had a TV on in the showroom listing the used cars they are selling. On the list was a 2012 Jeep Wrangler selling for $23,803. I'd like to point out my Jeep has 90k miles and the one they are advertising has 94k miles. Hope your sitting down, they offered me $14,500. I guess they like to try to take advantage of people. Really? They want to make $10k on my trade?? That is insane and unfair. Do not do business with this dealership. I called 3 times over a course of a month to schedule service nobody called me back so I used the web portal to make an appointment. When I arrived for my 1:15 appointment they told me they couldn't fill all service needs. I mentioned had they called me back I could have come at time when they could fill all service needs. They repeated a few times they are short staffed and they are doing the best they can, please be understanding. I asked if they could charge my car since it's a PHEV, they said "no". I said out of courtesy for the missed calls and not being able to complete my service needs it would be nice. He repeated we are doing the best we can since we are short staffed. Then he told me to go F myself and stormed out. They even turned me away and wound not service my car. No bs car dealership experience; I found lawless online using cars.com, so i can't speak to anyone visiting lawless to browse/ be sold a car. However, my experience with the salesman was both professional and friendly. At the dealership, he understood quickly that i had done most of the prelim research on the car, and briefed me with only the vital info, plus some new info on maintenance when i asked. He kept me up to date the whole way through via text, and was very understanding of my wanting to use the newest technology, like sending insurance paperwork via internet. UNSAFE WORK DONE BY SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!!! This is an abbreviated version because this review contains more characters that allowed. The level of pure apathy for the severity of the poor service that could have resulted in catastrophic injury or death of one or more of my family is absolutely abhorrent!! I bought a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sahara edition for my 17 y/o son from a private sale. The previous owners had kept great maintenance records and had receipts for work done covering more than 10 years. However I wanted to get the Jeep inspected by professionals to ensure it was safe overall, especially the steering system and that there wasn't something I had missed as a lay person. I called Lawless CDJR in Woburn and scheduled a "Multipoint Vehicle inspection" for July 19 2021which is a service they provide for $175. That was the genesis of the absolute horrible experience that could have easily resulted in one or more of my family being seriously injured or killed. The digest version is they were supposed to use the new parts that we had already and anything else that needed to be replaced could be ordered. The attached image is of the passenger side of the Tie Rod Adjustment Sleeve. For the uninitiated, this bar connects the driver and passenger front tires together and the end that is supposed to thread into that sleeve is used to properly align your front end AND keep your tires pointed straight down the road. There are supposed to be threads in the end there but they are for all intents and purposes stripped and provide no connection/adjustment capability. When they tried to do the front end alignment the tech noted that it was frozen and they had to take a torch to it in order to free it up (see pic). They replaced the old tie rod end but did not replaced the tie rod end adjuster sleeve with the stripped threads. They simply slid the end of the tie rod into the sleeve and using a single 1/2" clamp nut bolt to pinch it together. This came a part on me while I was driving (see detailed review for more info). This SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED! In NO world of professional mechanics should this part EVER have been reused! It was a complete lack of concern for the safety of their customer. The response from Lawless service manager has been absolute apathy to the seriousness o the situation. I'm making this public so others can protect their families. read more

When we came in unannounced on a busy Saturday we were helped and greeted right away by a professional sales floor everyone made us feel comfortable. Fast forward to our experience with Chris Bavaro we can not say enough abouT him. He and my wife and 2 yr old daughter hit it off great- he provided options and recommended our approach on exiting the existing lease we were in. Chris who is still in school knew an amazing amount About the cars and the process which was amazing. You could tell he was genuine the thing that really impressed me he went out of his way from looKing for rebates to helping us take the car home ex. we finished the process late Saturday and he will have the car ready for us on Monday (he mentioned he is going to meet us for the delivery after his classes on Monday) Again Great experience. No BS. Worst service department can't diagnose or repair vehicle right car there 3 months still having problems with work they preformed

Let me tell you a little story, it was on a relaxed Sunday. Two females we're running around doing errands, so not "dressed to the t". Stopped by the Lawless dealership, to look at the brand new Recon Rubicon sitting in the front. It has the window sticker removed and another placed with only "Market Adjustment" $7,500 Total $63,000 and some change. Nothing else. No one approached us. So went inside, started to look at 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L with the 3rd row. No one approached us. No "good morning be right with you". No "I am sorry, we are busy someone will be with you". No customer Service. Three employees walked by and never made eye contact. Left came, back in and went to service desk, asked is there anyone that could help me. She was wonderful. Finally, a salesperson came up to me reluctantly overhear my conversation with the service person. Me: is that Recon for sale? SP: Yes. Me: Do you have anyone interested in it? SP: No. Me: Why is there a "market adjustment" of $7,500? SP: With a smirk on his face he says "That is the state of the world today". (Price Gouging) Me: So, your telling me I can go order the Jeep, directly from Jeep, cheaper than buying it from you. SP: Jeep will add it too (which is incorrect, I had a friend just buy one from Jeep and no extra $7,500) Salesperson just let me walk out door. I am assuming that they thought, we couldn't afford a vehicle the way we were treated. Little do they know, We could of paid cash for anything on their lot! Talked to another Jeep dealership, that will order my Jeep without the $7,500 "Market Adjustment" and said they never heard of such a thing. Lawless should never judge a book by it's cover. Brought my truck in to be serviced along with a couple of miscellaneous items to be fixed the truck was in their possession for three days they were unable to diagnose any problems and I asked them to change the spark plugs that didn't happen because they're still sitting on my passenger seat when I picked it up asked them to fix a coil paperwork states they checked all and found nothing well if they checked them all they would have noticed one was missing the rubber boot with a spring that completes the connection from the pack to the spark plug that is still missing after picking The vehicle up while the vehicle was in their possession they tried telling me that they think the transmission is bad they never really got around to diagnosing it and I didn't feel like waiting any longer so I read some reviews online after reading the reviews I decided to take the truck away from them because I was very uncomfortable having them work on it anymore I feel as though I made the right decision after I got the truck home and was able to inspect it they didn't fix anything they were supposed to. save yourself save your vehicle and your wallet go somewhere else Here's an update after getting the truck home read more

By far the worst experience. My friend went to the dealership and agreed to a price on a new 2022 Jeep Wrangler. He negotiated a price and upon of arrival the following day the dealership then proceeded to add an additional $10000.00 to the price. When he asked to speak with the manager he was treated very hostile and was told that was the new price. This is a complete example of bait and switch. Illegal, unethical, and immoral business practice by this dealership. I have spent 27 years as an executive manager for dealerships and this practice is saddening and in violation of the manufacturers dealership agreement. My experience with Lawless was phenomenal when dealing with Kyle. He listened and didn't try and push me into a car I didn't want. I ordered a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited. I waited 2 months for my car to come in. When it did I walked in the dealership with financing already in place. Kyle wasn't there so I dealt with Noah. This is where things went down hill FAST. First, my husband and I saw a Jeep Grand Cherokee on the floor that we knew we had to have. It was beautiful. My husband decided he was going to purchase that one and I would get the one I ordered. Noah came across as overly polite at first. He asked if they could try and beat the interest rate our bank gave us. Knowing we are well qualified buyers I was like you can try. He asked what interest rate our bank gave us and I told him that was irrelevant the only thing that mattered was what interest rate they could give me. He's like yeah yeah ok. So he comes back and says I'm sure your bank did better but if you finance through us you can take your car home today. (I didn't have a trade in so I didn't have a license plate for the new car) I said I waited 2 months obviously I'm a patient person and can wait another few days. So he's like you can refinance at your lower rate as soon as you drive off the lot. I said why would I refinance when I already have a loan with a lower interest rate than what you can give me? So he leaves to "talk to the manager" and comes back and says so USAA takes weeks to pay and we need to be paid within 4 days and then said 2 weeks. He couldn't keep his story straight. We were like it's 2022 USAA can overnight you a check. He leaves again and comes back and says look, we might need to part ways because you're not willing to finance in house and that my car would sell by the end of the week. I said well it won't be to me and walked away. Kyle contacts me within 30 minutes saying the manager felt like I thought they would benefit by financing me and that they wouldn't and that was the misunderstanding. I said I would hope you would benefit. If you got me a lower interest rate I would be benefiting so you should benefit as well. I told him I was taking my business elsewhere. Kyle was an excellent communicator and apologized for what happened. If it wasn't for him humbling himself and taking responsibility two sales would not have happened that day. Kyle is the biggest asset Lawless has. He's young, but could teach everyone there some things. Lawless should hold onto him tight and give him a raise because he's seriously the best ever! read more

I have a jeep lease; I've had the hardest time trying to turn in; jeep said I had to call the finance company ; finance company said I had to call jeep; everyone giving me the run-around because they all want the equity in my car. I left messages (I actually bought the car at lawless btw) on the sales guys cell and also for the sales manager and it took 4 business days to get a call back. When I asked why they didn't call me back sooner, they asked why I had an attitude. Really bad experience leasing the car and now even worse turning it in. You should skip this place if you can. read more
