Luckily when I entered AutoZone in Woburn, and was checking windshield wipers, a young man (Alex) came over and asked if he could assist. I explained that I had recently purchased wipers from Target that were reportedly the correct size for my truck. But after having a mechanic who had just fixed my clutch on the truck, and when asking him to put on the new wipers, he informed me the wipers I had bought were not a match. So that's why I went to AutoZone to check on wipers that would fit. When I mentioned to Alex that I had already bought wipers that were supposed to fit, he quickly said 'well, let me take a look' and he came with me outside, checked the wipers, quickly figured out the way the small pieces are attached, and he popped both of the wipers on my truck. Voila! It was really great and saved me quite a bit of time. Alex was super helpful, and has a 'can do' attitude which is much appreciated! Kudos to Alex! read more

I was having a good day on Friday until I walked into Auto Zone. My key fob battery was low and I thought I would walk into Auto Zone and it would be quick. Instead, I walked out very frustrated. I went up to the cashier and told him I didn't know what battery it needed. He seemed very uninterested in helping me and he told me he couldn't help me out. I find that very frustrating and it's bad customer service. I would have thought the employees would be more knowledgeable. Even if he wasn't allowed to take apart the fob, he could have told me how to do it but he seemed uninterested in helping out a customer. I ended up YouTubing it and it seems simple. I plan on driving over to O'Reilly Auto Parts later today and buy some supplies for my car since THEIR employees are very knowledgeable and are always willing to do what it takes to assist a customer. Don't go here unless you have at least 30 minutes to spare. There is always a long line that doesn't move. They never have more than two people working and those people are always helping someone, so there nobody actually running the register. Today I needed a cabin air filter. They told me they didn't have it after a 15 minute wait in line. So I went to the Auto Zone in Stoneham. They didn't have it either, but they called this store and somehow they had it. So I went back, the same guy still said they didn't have it. And after I insisted that they did, he asked the other guy working, Justin, and he was able to help me and got the filter. read more

Came in to buy air filters recently. There were four employees playing on their phones and not interested in helping customers. I got what I needed myself after having to ask for help finding them. Only time I have given a bad yelp review. This is the Woburn store, I never had a problem with the Medford store that I usually use. These four employees clearly didn't want to be there. read more

Excellent service by James at the Woburn store in checking out my battery , finding that it had a some bad cells ( no wonder I had to call AAA every few days), and then meticulously replacing it . You're always going to have unfavorable reviews with places like this. How many normal people go to an Autozone for fun times? Outside of the mechanically inclined people out there, I would say very few normal people do this. This place was actually pretty good to me. Needed a new battery in a hurry. I called them up, they were polite, professional, and knowledgeable in regards to what I needed. So I waited a tad bit too long having my car battery replaced. I ordered one via phone and was told that no one could install it at the time. Ok I put it on hold and upon going to pick it up a very nice man behind the counter said he could do it. Took him about 5 minutes and wouldn't except a tip. He said a handshake will do. I wasn't sure which wind shield wipers to get (first time changing it) not only did he patiently looked it up for me he also taught me how to "install" these wipers, it was a very pleasant experience! I visit here often and will continue to do so. The service is impeccable. They are the very definition of outstanding customer service. Zachary, the parts manager, is incredibly patient and helpful. They pulled out all the stops while I was changing my alternator in the parking lot and I couldn't be more grateful! The store is immaculate and even though they didn't have my alternator in stock, they ordered one from a nearby store and it arrived in about twenty five minutes, enough time for me to take off my old alternator and take a short break.
