We patronize all 3 departments, buy (Sunoco) gas at the lowest prices in the area (at the Woburn Scrub a Dub), and patronize the Scrub a Dub Woburn Convenience Store. Our cars are on monthly, unlimited plans, and they look like new, a combination of a super high quality ceramic coating, installed by All Pro Detailing in Peabody, MA, and weekly Scrub a Dub car washes. The manager of the Woburn, Scrub a Dub car wash, Pete, does an exceptional job, as does, Luis, his detail shop manager.

The business operations and the workplace culture are both equally poor. Why is it that after 5 PM--while the tunnel wash is still open--the convenience carts with towels and window cleaner are consistently empty? This isn't an occasional issue; it's a regular, predictable problem, and it reflects ongoing management neglect. What makes it worse is the attitude. When I've pointed out the empty carts, the cashier or manager inside the convenience store has told me to "talk to the guys in the car wash." That's unacceptable. It shouldn't be my responsibility as a customer to track down employees and coordinate basic service tasks. Even then, the car wash staff often respond with attitude, as if I'm an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. This repeated experience signals deeper issues: poor leadership, lack of accountability, and a bad workplace culture. It's long overdue for Scrub a Dub's ownership to step out of the office and take a closer look at what's happening at their locations. This company appears to have grown too large and lost the service standards and culture its founder originally envisioned. Management on the ground is clearly not doing its job. I'm fed up with this place. If it weren't for the quality of the tunnel car wash, I'd avoid it entirely.

I did exactly that and never received any response. To recap, my car was in for an engine recall. While I was unavailable, my father brought it in. The dealership claimed the rear calipers were frozen and needed replacement. What makes this unacceptable is that they also replaced my rear rotors and brake pads, which were only a couple of months old and in like-new condition. I had just paid good money for those parts. There was no valid reason for them to be replaced, yet I was charged for parts and labor anyway. After Monica Ramirez, Director of Business Development, responded on Yelp, I emailed the address provided and clearly explained that this was not just general dissatisfaction. I asked for a clear explanation of why nearly new brake components were replaced and what would be done to address the unnecessary charges. I made it clear I was looking for resolution, not just conversation. They never replied. To me, inviting a customer to reach out and then ignoring them is just as telling as the original issue. It reinforces the feeling that they were happy to say the right thing publicly but had no intention of actually resolving the problem privately. Based on both the service itself and the complete lack of follow-up, I would not recommend Mirak Hyundai. +++++++++++++ ORIGINAL REVIEW: Mar 10, 2025 This was a horrible experience. This shop is crooked. They were replacing my engine due to recall issues. I wasn't available at the time so my father brought my car in. They told him that the rear calipers were frozen as well and needed to be replaced. I had just replaced the rear rotors and break pads. Not only did they replace the calipers, but they also decided my new rear rotors and brake pads needed to be replaced as well. It was obvious that the rotors and pads were brand new, but they decide to replace them anyway. I paid good money for the pads that were on there for only a couple of months. They just took them off and did who knows what with them just to make a few extra bucks in labor and parts. ONLY the calipers needed to be replaced but they went ahead and took advantage of my father. I feel VERY cheated and even stolen from. I'll never bring my car there again.
