What a bad experience?! I injured my shoulder and I really needed someone to mow my lawn. He didn't show up 4 times out of 4 on scheduled days without any notice. I patiently had to reach out many times to him for rescheduling. He apologized and promised to me but didn't come again and again. He didn't call or text to me until I did first. TIME WASTE!!!! Scheduled for an estimate. This guy didn't show up. He didn't even call me that he can't come. Only texted me when I was the one who texted him first. I gave him another chance and we scheduled for the next day. Before the scheduled time, I gave him a heads up that I might be 30 mins late. I rushed over to my house so I can meet him earlier. Again, he didn't show up. I texted him and he told me he was there but decided to leave because I was late! Eff that! I was there at 620 and he was not here. I asked my neighbors and they said, they didn't see anyone. What a liar! I wouldn't hire his services if he can lie like this and does not have a word of honor. read more

My elderly mom (92 years old) paid for services at her home in Lacey, WA that were never done. She trusted him and paid him in advance to remove a mattress and do a little maintenance around the house. When she received her credit card bill he charged her more than what was agreed and the work was never done. She gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking he was an honest person and turns out he just took advantage of her. read more

Lawn and Order completed a retention wall. They originally showed up on time and worked well. They said "see you tomorrow" but never showed. He said he had "other clients he was working with". After much discussion he showed and finished the job satisfatorily. Part of the job included topsoil. ALthough I was contacting a company to deliver the top soil, he contracted Cheevers transporting. They did not deliver topsoil, it is trash dirt full of rock and bark. I requested they pick up the soil and deliver the correct order. They refused and said they would deliver the correct order for the same cost. Alfred Diaz, who I had contracted with orderd the soil and has neither picked up the bad soil, refunded me, or delivered the correct soil. His comment was the Cheevers transporting was rude by not correcting the error. My contract is with Lawn and Order, Mr Alfredo Diaz. He should refund me and pick up the trash dirt. Nothing has been done and this is a week later. Shame, they started off well but beware. He also bid stump grinding. On the day he said he was coming he never showed. Later that week he texted do you will want the stumps ground? I received the text late in the afternoon. When I replied he didn't show he says, oh well I already turned in the machine. Get everything from him in writing with timelines and penalties for not completing as contracted The work he did is very satisfactory but he is unreliable. A week ago Tuesday we arranged to have my lawn done the following day. Wednesday comes, no show. When I email asking about our appointment, I was told he would be there the following day Thursday. Thursday comes, again no show. I email again, politely stating that I had turned down other offers so I wouldn't be rude and cancel our arrangement. I only asked that if he had overbooked and was not able to work me in, that he would let me know so I could go ahead and look elsewhere to get my lawn serviced in the time frame needed. I got another email Friday early afternoon saying he could come then - but I was at work so took a couple hours to respond, at which point he was unavailable. He then said he would come the following day (Saturday) at 11am. So - once again - I cancelled arrangements with another lawn service because I wanted to give him [another] chance. Of course, Saturday comes and no show. Again. I emailed, no response. Emailed again, no response. I spent all last week wasting my time - several days sitting around the house waiting with no word. I turned down other services who guaranteed they could work me in.... and now I am out of town w/o my lawn being done because I was stood up several days in a row, each time with the promise to work me in the next day. I would not have mind if he had just overbooked and would have contacted me to let me know. I sent several emails throughout the week - and what I found most unprofessional and disrespectful was even after politely asking him to just let me know if he couldn't actually work me in, he continued to say he would come. And then he continued to stand me up with no warning... and eventually just completely stopped responding. I honestly can't think of another time I've dealt with such a lack of professionalism. Set an appointment yesterday for an estimate. I had every intention of hiring this company. Late in the day I got a text message saying he had forgotten about our appointment, but could be back today, and gave me a time. I said OK and made sure I would be home and available. Half hour after the appointment time, I sent him a text asking if we were still meeting today. As of 4 hours later, not even a text back. Super. No way to run a business. Bottom line: Incredibly unprofessional, unreliable, and egotistical! Don't fall for the low prices like I did! I found Alfredo Diaz on craigslist, as I find many of my very good service people. I was looking for someone to mow and weed whack my large, hilly property. Last year, I had a very hard working gentleman doing an excellent job for $10 an hour, but unfortunately, he moved away. Alfredo came out and walked around the property. As we talked, I mentioned that I had a riding mower, but it was not working, and I did not have the time to use it anyway. I explained that the lawn was very overgrown, and I wasn't sure what might be underneath. He gave me an estimate of $200 for the entire job, and $100 a month after that. I had immediately gotten a bad vibe from him, and it was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but I agreed to have him come out in a few days to do the job, because it really needed to be done. After thinking about it, though, I texted him the next day to say that I was sorry, but I really couldn't afford $200 at the moment. He replied that he could lower the price to $150 and $100 a month. As I said, it really needed to be done, so I agreed. I warned him (for the second time) that the lawn was very overgrown, and there might be rocks or branches in the grass, and to walk it before he mowed it. He said that was fine. Unfortunately, I had to work the day he was able to come out, so I left the money with my mother, who lives on my property. He said he would be there around 10am. Well, 10am came and went, and my mother said he still wasn't there. Finally, he texted me to say he was running late, and it would be more like 11:30. No apology or explanation, just the statement. 11:30 came and went. At 12:30, I texted to ask where he was. No reply. At 1:40pm, he texted me and asked for the gate code - still no apology or explanation for being almost four hours late. I asked for one, and was again ignored. My mother was keeping an eye on him, and noticed that he had a small Chihuahua in his truck, and it was a very hot day. She went out and offered him some water for the dog, but he told her, "She drank plenty of water earlier, she's fine." He finished around 6:30pm, and my mother paid him the $150. He told her that the terrain "wasn't as bad as he expected" and that he could bring his riding mower next time and do it for $75 a month. Unfortunately, she did not walk the property to check his work before paying him. When I arrived home after work, I saw that most of the property looked nice, but that there was a large section right in the middle of the main lawn that had not been mowed at all. I texted him the next day to ask about this, and if he intended to come back to finish the job. This was his reply, word for word: "That is your 50 discount patch that I didn't mow hop on your riding mower and run it over. I can move [mow] next month for 75 with my John Deere what I did yesterday@" I was appalled by this totally unprofessional, sarcastic, and presumptuous statement. If I had known that the discount he offered was contingent on leaving a large part of the job unfinished, I would never have had him come out at all. This was never mentioned until I asked about it. He made this decision after the fact, without communicating with me about it in any way. In fact, his communication skills were practically nonexistent from start to finish. I wrote him back, pointing out that this was incredibly unprofessional, and that if he wished to keep my business, he would come out the next day and finish the job we had agreed on, and which he had been paid for. As of this review, he has yet to reply. It amazes me that anyone could remain in business with his attitude and total lack of reliability or professionalism. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this loser. read more
