Going to the dentist is something that can easily put off. Then you go to this office and get great treatment from a great staff and wonder why you didn't go sooner. They are professional, if you have a 2 pm appointment you are in your chair at 2. They don't try to up sell, just tell you what you need and what your options are. I wish I didn't have to go the dentist but have never been dissatisfied after many visits to Dr. Holland's office. read more

I started going here a year ago for my normal check-up/cleaning and it's always been very pleasant. The staff and dental hygienists always take good care of me and Dr. Holland always comes in at the end to review everything with me. Yesterday I came in to remove my two upper wisdom teeth which was done by Dr. Holland himself. The whole procedure took about 30 mins tops, and I felt absolutely no pain AT ALL. It was so fast that I didn't even notice when he was already done. As compared to when I had my two lower wisdom teeth removed somewhere else, this experience was absolutely 10x better. Highly recommend for anyone who needs their wisdom teeth removed. read more

Office staff was very nice and professional during all my visits. My main complain was the color Dr Holland picked for my crowns. I whitened my teeth yet he picked a yellow grayish color for my crowns which looked okay inside his office light but terrible in natural light. Looks like smokers teeth and quite obviously didn't match but difficult to show them when their office lights don't show the big difference. Definitely unhappy that I have to deal with these crowns from now on. What a waste of money! He also assured me the metal on one tooth wouldn't show through the new crowns, which it does so one tooth looks darker. Very unhappy with this Dentist. read more

First off, I HATE going to the dentist. HATE IT. But as soon as I walked in the door to Dr. Holland's office, I was greeted by smiling faces and attentiveness. His staff is one of the nicest, compassionate, and caring staff I have ever met. They put me right at ease, conversed with me about my family, job, etc. I can't say enough wonderful things about them. If you are looking for a new dentist in the Willowbrook area, you should give Dr. Holland a look-see. Superb service. I made sure to tell them this before I left. read more

I started seeing the Dr Holland because my boyfriend and his family had been going there for 30 years. I really love the staff and thought that the dentist was great. The staff is still great. My views of the dentist have changed somewhat thought. I recently went in for an extraction and filling. The extraction was a little complicated and that was my tooth's fault. However, after several days of severe pain I went back to find out I had a dry socket and several pieces of bone sticking out of my gums. My issue arose after I got back to the office and discovered a piece of bone that was missed and had to go back to office to have it removed. The doctor just couldn't see how he could've missed it. I saw and felt it easily in a small mirror. He thought it should be tucked back in. He had given me several injections to numb my mouth over the course of time with no issue, but I been topically numb at that time. I was not this time and expecting to be before he put the needle in my mouth. I have anxiety to needles and when I saw the needle coming toward my mouth (knowing I didn't have the topical) I panicked. The doctor flipped out on me. I stated I wasn't topically numbed yet. Instead, of calming me and relaxing himself, he told me I can't do that to him and he couldn't do this then walked out of the room. I couldn't believe it!! It was extremely unprofessional. Margaret was wonderful though!! When we noticed the doc come out of his office and proceeded to another patient, she calmly applied a topical and removed the bone from my gums. I love her! I came back two days later to have my packing replaced and the doctor knowing I was there did not say one word to me! No apology or nothing. I wouldn't send children to him and as much as the staff is great I don't trust him to work in my mouth. The side of my mouth (and only side i can eat on now) where he did the filling is super sensitive to hot and cold since that procedure. I wouldn't recommend a doctor with this sort of short temper and lack of patience!! So disappointing! read more

I'm surprised to see that this doctor is quick to see patients with emergency situations. That's never been the case for me. I've gone for treatments that required several visits. The staff and dentist were pleasant and he definitely knows what he is doing. But anytime I've needed to be seen in an emergency situation there was no sense of urgency whatsoever. Even when I've stated I'm in pain they're not concerned. I stopped coming because I need a dentist who would at least be willing to see if they could squeeze me in when I have a problem. He also doesn't seem to like answering more than one question. If you ask a second one he can come off as snappy. I'm glad they were able to help when they did but I wouldn't recommend them for emergencies or if you are a new patient. read more

Never had a root canal before and heard about it being painful. Dr. Holland was great. He talked me through the whole procedure and I never even felt anything. It was so painless that I fell asleep during it. Sleeping through a root canal, I never heard about anyone doing that before. The staff there was great also. I will be going back to Dr Holland for all my dental needs. read more

Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Holland and his staff has not been positive. He was recommended by a friend who had only dental cleaning done. He is not a "gentle dentist" and has not acceptably completed the work for which he was paid nearly a year ago, even though I have been back to his office twice after the initial set of visits when he worked on my teeth. He expresses platitudes but has not addressed the issue. read more

I've been going to Dr. Lawrence Holland for over twenty years, well before he built his current office. I've always had excellent treatment, been greeted by the friendly staff, never had to wait long. I've had fillings, extractions, root canals, veneers, crowns, etc. and have never been dissatisfied. If an emergency arose, he saw to it that I was taken care of as quickly as possible. Recently had to change my insurance in order to continue patronizing his practice, as I don't really want anyone else to work on my teeth. read more
