He also fixed another part on my car, and did not charge a lot for labor. Also, it didn't notice that it was cash only. Fast & very friendly service at a great price. Not much more I could ask for from a smog check station! I called on my way home from work this evening to see if I might be able to swing by without an appointment and DK let me know he was planning to be there late and to come on in any time. I headed there soon after and was assisted right away. I hadn't been able to find the renewal notice I was mailed but he told me it was no problem. He hooked up the machine to do an initial check before having me go through the terrible of filling in the paperwork (to save time in case it wasn't going to pass). He was very nice and chatted with me while he worked, also communicating each step before doing it. I called and spoke to a guy I believe his name was DK about needing a smog check on my car. He quoted me a reasonable price and told me he would be closing at noon. So, I went there and he had one person in front of me that he was helping, but in the meantime he was very professional and courteous to me, he had me fill out a form and gave me hand wipes after returning the forms just in case I got dirt on my hands from him smogging the previous person's car. DK is great! He's a really humble guy who also has a shop in Santa Ana. He keeps himself busy. This is a no frills shop, get you in and out quickly. DK is also a very friendly guy so you'll have a really nice guy to talk to while you wait for the short smog check to complete. Ever since moving to the LA county area a few years back, I quickly realized that a lot of stuff up here is crazy expensive compared to Orange County. My haircuts are more than double what I used to pay. Because of that, I used to drive back down to Orange County for my smog checks.
