Their branch in Miami airport is a flaming dumpster fire (have called customer service 5x no resolution ) - Miami gave us a broken car with a faulty engine - and the enterprise at LAX isn't any better. I lost a custom dog collar in the Range Rover we rented. Immediately called them and filled a form online. Got a message hours later that they didn't find it- a month later got a call from a guy saying he found a dog collar in the Range Rover as he'd accidentally dropped his credit card between the seat . He was kind enough to contact me and send it to me via mail (what was left of it) What I got back was basically a few stones and my dog's tag. Some certified a hole ripped up the collar, made a piece of jewelry for themselves with the clasp and then dropped the pieces they didn't want back in the car. I hope you go to hell. So, not only does enterprise not do their job when it comes to lost and found- either the employees themselves or the people renting cars are kleptomaniacs and steal valuables. Humanity is in a sad place if someone doesn't have money to buy a necklace and steals a chain made for a dog. Enterprise is a disgusting organization and anyone who works for them is inept. A bunch of criminals work here. Truly the worst of humanity and low IQ. Oh and their lost and found doesn't have a phone number. Disappointing customer service and vehicle maintenance…read more I had a highly frustrating experience with this location regarding vehicle safety and communication. We were leased a rental car that, upon closer inspection a day into driving it, was found to have two damaged tires. This is a significant safety oversight that should have been caught during a standard pre-rental inspection before the car was allowed on the road. When I brought this to the attention of the branch, the manager, Nathan, assured me he would follow up with his senior manager to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, that follow-up never happened, and communication completely stopped on their end. Fortunately, our credit card company reviewed our photographic evidence of the pre-existing damage and fully resolved the dispute in our favor. While the financial side is taken care of, the lack of thorough vehicle inspections and the unfulfilled promises of management mean I will be choosing other rental options in the future. Inspect your vehicles carefully before leaving this lot.

You arrive and get dropped a decent walk with bags. Little to no signage. You go to level 5. Massive line at Hertz. NO signage that if you are Gold you go to Level 3. We figure that out. At Level 3, big Hertz board and 1/3 of pre-assigned cars say "See Desk". So, NO advantage there. Another line. After a wait and standing at the desk for a good 15 minutes only to discover that the car we rented was there, in the pre-assigned spot. It took an HOUR to get car as a 5-star member. I simply can NOT recommend Hertz in LA.

The drive from the airport to the rental facility takes around 10 minutes, although keep in mind…read morethat LAX traffic can make the return journey longer. The facility itself looks quite new and modern. Once you arrive, you need to go up to the 5th floor following the signs to the rental counter. It's a bit of a walk from where the shuttle drops you off, so keep that in mind if you're traveling with luggage. There are both elevators and escalators available. Once I reached the counter and was helped, the actual rental process took less than five minutes. One thing to be aware of is that the rental clock starts when you sign the contract, but you then have to go all the way back down to the 1st floor to pick up your car, which takes additional time. Almost 20/30 minutes of people in line waiting to get a car. Drop-off was incredibly easy. Just follow the Budget signs, and attendants guide you through the process. You simply leave the keys in a little basket inside the car, and cameras scan the car as you drive in. I'm still impressed by how they somehow knew the car had been returned with the correct fuel level and without any new damage. The rental time stops as you drive into the return area, which takes away some of the stress if you're cutting it close to your scheduled return time. The free shuttle back to LAX takes around 10-15 minutes, but allow extra time for traffic. The shuttle operates on the lower level only, which is the Arrivals level--the same level where you'll be picked up when arriving at LAX. There are plenty of shuttles going back and forth.

That's how I decided to rent a car from Fox Rent A Car. I caught the free shuttle outside of Terminal 6 at LAX. It did seem like other rental car companies had more shuttles pass by, but not a huge difference. The clerk that helped me was friendly and efficient. I found my assigned car fairly easily and rode off uneventfully. So far so good! I didn't even have to fill my tank up yet. Haha! I will fill it on my own instead of paying $5.99 per gallon of gasoline of they fill my tank. I'm quite sure that I can find a lower price than $5.99.
