I mean it's a beautiful, expensive, California grocery store. Everything is perfect inside. There are no carts, you can be handed a basket if you need one and the aisles are very narrow in comparison to other grocery stores. Like these are one way aisles pretty much unless you are a California size -1. I'm old fat and cranky so parking is the biggest concern of mine and I actually googled which is the Erewhon with the least hassle free parking and this one came up and it's true. There is 90 minute free parking and it's not exactly simple. You have to get a ticket and then you may be double parking someone inside and you have to give some people your keys so if they have to move your car you can't they can. They held onto my keys but did not move my car so I didn't tip them. I wasn't expecting to tip when I went to a grocery store. There's more than one business in the plaza so I think they're employed by them so just be prepared with that and have cash on hand. I did not get the Hailey Bieber smoothie although I was tempted. I've heard mixed reviews and I know it's very expensive and I did not want to spend that kind of money on a smoothie. I didn't like. I did end up getting a bottled peanut butter smoothie and that one cost $14 and it was really delicious. It tasted healthy, but it was really good. I also got some vanilla chai crisps that are in the back corner by the freezer section and those are delicious as well. Those were $6.99 for a bag and honestly, I thought that was reasonable. I did get a strawberry cream dessert. It's all natural and I think vegan or something or other. I don't know. It was really good, from the few bites I had I was going to save it and it melted in my car so hopefully it will taste good tomorrow even if it's not in the shape originally was. I also got some Keylime and Meyer lemon tarts. I tried the lemon one they should be refrigerated which I did not know until I tried to eat them. The lemon one was good. I have not tried the lime one yet. I ended up spending $44 on five items. I just went there to say I've gone there. Would I go there regularly if there was one available to me probably not but I would go occasionally. It just seems now that it's a lot of content creators or people who want to see content creators, or people we're just going there is a tourist. I can't imagine anyone doing their weekly shopping here. read more

THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY: Free parking for 90 minutes (good), Fantastic organic fruits / veggies and health/beauty selection are great, (good) yummy fresh juices (good), INSANE (not in a good way) store and parking design (bad). The prices are more than a bit over-the-top (ugly). Whoever designed this store deserves a smack-down. The aisles are so small you have to shimmy past people. And if you are shopping with a cart, good luck to you. Legit the most baffling design choices I've ever seen. This is an example of design that actually effects the shopping experience in a BAD WAY. Total head scratcher. Whoever designed the parking lot for the entire complex is an absolute idiot. If you need to get your cart to your car, there are several issues depending on what area you park in. First up, upon exiting the store there is a curb with no visible ramp so you have to cart-jump the curb to get down to the street level to your car. Then there is a raised planter between parking and the store so that if you are on the other side of it, you have to cart-jump the curb again. Seriously? Total failure in design on both the store and the parking. But hey - 90 minutes free parking so that's a plus. $16 for a smoothie is a little excessive for sure. Was it good? Yes. That said, while I'm happy to pay more for a great selection of organic fruits and veggies, the smoothies aren't that different from one I could make at home or get somewhere else of the same quality but for less. So if you are on a budget or just resent paying $16 for a smoothie on principal, I suggest focusing on your favorite, good stuff at Erewhon which for me is the fruits / vegetables and their outstanding selection of health / beauty products and their prepared food. from the beauty section, I got something called EVERYTHNG OIL based on the recommendation of one of the staff and it is a GREAT product -- truly my skin is transformed -- well worth the $. I also discovered a yoghurt there that I love -- Painterland Sisters -- but I now buy it at Sprouts as it is cheaper there. The prepared food selection is great! Vegan dessert selection - hallelujah! And I'm a big fan of all their vegan options actually - great stuff. I like that they give you a credit for every glass bottle you bring back -- not a small one either. $2 for each bottle! That brings down the cost of those fresh juices I love so I'll take it!! :) So spend some time finding your favorite stuff - this is a place to pick up a couple of things -- not do ALL your grocery shopping. First of all, you don't want a cart in this place -- too hard to navigate. But also, a full shop at Erewhon is 3 times what any other store would cost. But they do have some very excellent products so worth it for those things IMHO but not for EVERYTHING. Shopping spending I don't know 100 and something dollars on two bags of groceries, gave you the phone numbers, gave you my wife's name and mine, showed you my ID, and you still want to lecture me about how my wife needs to go on the app and make some changes. Apply the points and move on. The only changes we need to make are we just keep going to the Bristol Farms that just opened up by our house in Beachwood. And we never stop by this shit box again. Stopped by to see what all the fuss is about. Parking is definitely not the best. Came around 1pm on a Friday so it was as packed as it could get. Very beautiful store, everything is stocked perfectly and has many organic options available. I wasn't aware the entire hot bar is 100% organic which is pretty cool! I ended up trying their famous buffalo cauliflower. Decently seasoned, nothing too crazy to rave about. I have tried the steak breakfast burrito from their Calabasas location and it was well seasoned and cooked. Would consider ordering again. They do have many food staples available in other major stores with similar prices. Their highest priced items are usually unique finds and Erewhon labeled items. Definitely depends what you're looking for here, I found many staples that I use at a decent price. Their sushi looks beautiful, I was excited to try their tuna onigiri but I was not a fan of the unnecessary ingredients. Majority of staff were friendly and welcoming. I quite like this Erewhon out of the others due to the selection. Found some great weird stuff like Banana Water and Okra Water. Not super small like Beverly Hills and the outdoor seating is spacious. Nice staff, no long lines for the cashier and the smoothie bar was so fast. The Vibe-C Collagen smoothie was tasty whereas the Tropical Lifeway tasted like healthy pineapple. There's an outdoor parking lot and free 2 hour street parking. My visit here was purely out of curiosity, since Erewhon is known as the "most expensive grocery stores in the world", but beyond a few items everything in here was priced normally for a high-end grocery store in LA. As soon as I walked in the delicious smell of the deli reminded me of my days as a courtesy Clerk at Wild Oats Market, now Whole Foods. The deli food was pricey, but looked good. Mostly healthy options here like salads, couscous, and quinoa. Along with lean proteins and few comfort options like mac n' cheese. The store is kept immaculate and every isle was fully stocked and neat organized. The produce section is small, but they do have all of the staples. Unfortunately, they didn't have the $20 single strawberry available during my visit. They offer indoor and outdoor seating and have plenty of space. There a lot of people here working on their laptops and having lunch. The parking here is paid and you'll want to enter the lot via Coldwater Canyon to park right in front of the store. read more

My wife and I stopped by Erewhon yesterday while we were at the Sportsman Lounge little shopping center. She heard about their favorite expensive smoothie and wanted to try it. The staff here are wonderful and willing to answer any questions you have. This place is also a grocery store and a small bakery place as well. Be aware that the aisle inside here at very narrow especially with some people pushing a cart. If they are really busy then it will be harder to move around inside. The prices for their products are on the higher end but it's popular. Parking is complimentary up to a certain time. Easy 5 stars for Erewhon Studio City. This is my go-to spot since I'm at Equinox all the time and I stop by here constantly--sometimes every day. I've been to pretty much all Erewhons and this one is easily the best. People complain about parking but honestly it's the easiest setup. You can self-park or just leave your car and they'll handle it like valet if you have to double park. Since I have a gym membership, parking is free for me, so it's super convenient to swing by after a workout without stressing about it. The employees here are actually cool and friendly--not fake nice. Even during a quick checkout they'll talk to you and make it feel enjoyable instead of rushed. Earth Bar can take a minute, so the move is to order your drink first, then shop around. They'll text you when it's ready which makes everything smooth. Mango and Strawberry Glaze smoothies are a must. Also the crowd here is top tier--everyone looks good and the whole place just feels clean, high-end, and put together. I just went to the most expensive grocery/hot food plate/smoothie place in Los Angeles. What other previous comments didn't mention is there's is a higher chance you'd bump into a big celebrity and Lululemon pants than anywhere else in the state of California. Yes, the prices are expensive, I can't really say anything about the service, but I noticed that they have twice the amount of goods compared to Mother's Market and Whole Foods combined. I like that. For me, the best part was that I found sugar-free desserts and get this...sugar-free sushi. Only in Los Angeles guys and gals! The store is not for anyone I know in my life. Their prices are absolutely ridiculous., even if they have high-quality items, or very rare items, their prices are just insane. I really do not appreciate how a lot of their products have. No price posted. I mean, not only are you gonna make us guess how much something cost you're gonna force us to either put it in our basket and then get embarrassed at the cash register once you find out how expensive it is or you are simply just going to prevent your products from being sold. Because people don't like getting put in that situation. The store is definitely for people making six figures a year. The Tonic Bar is located right at the entrance and has their menu posted above (coffee, smoothies, teas). Ordering is a breeze. The workers are friendly and polite and get your drinks out efficiently. I got the Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie. For $20, the smoothie isn't that big. It was sweeter than I expected, and I'm glad it was dairy-free. The smoothie is thick, creamy, and heavy on the strawberry taste. It was tasty but a one-and-done for me. The other smoothies looked great, but I wouldn't necessarily spend that much to try them. Erewhon is a boujee grocery store focusing on health and organic foods. If you can afford it, then sure it might be worth it. But for a visitor like myself, taking one trip satisfied my curiosity. They have plenty of locations throughout SoCal. Their Studio City spot is laid out nicely, and there's free parking in the shared lot. read more

I love this place as it's located next to so many great things and places to go after. The store is located in a shopping area so parking can be painful. Valet is free so take advantage. The hot bar in the store is my favorite and I love the sliders and Mac and cheese. The cookies at the coffee bar are amazing but pricey. I frequently go to this location to buy a quick lunch or matcha. In most cases, I encounter friendly workers who are helpful if you have questions about anything. My favorite item to order is the iced matcha with raw coconut milk. The milk adds an extra $7 charge if you get large, but I promise it's so worth it. The estimated delivery window was 8:15-8:30 AM, but it quickly became apparent that the order had never even been dispatched. It appears that no Uber delivery was ever called, and no one at the store followed up on the status of the order. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of communication. No one reached out to let us know there was an issue, provide an update, or offer a solution. We were left waiting and wondering where our breakfast was while the food sat ready at the store. For a company that prides itself on premium service and charges premium prices, I expected much better attention to customer orders and communication.
