I originally gave Spartan Gyros 5 stars. The vibe was great & the food was outstanding…read more Unfortunately, my recent visit was a completely different experience. It started with not even being able to open the front door. There was a sign that said "pull really hard," & we watched another family walk by thinking the place was closed. Inside, it was empty except for 2 employees standing there. We ordered 2 bowls, which came to over $30. One had rice, falafel, & tomato. The other had rice, tomato, tzatziki, & chicken. The falafels were wet inside & something clearly seemed off. Within an hour of eating, my stomach felt unsettled & I just did not feel well. I was tired & very hungry at the time, so I did not send anything back, but I definitely regretted not speaking up!! The rice was dry and bland. Honestly, Trader Joe's microwave rice would have been the better choice. The tomatoes were cut so large that I ended up pulling them out and giving them to my daughter because I prefer smaller pieces. We also ordered the potatoes, which I had really been looking forward to. The last time I was here they were charred on the edges, tender, lemony, and full of flavor. This time they tasted parboiled, still firm in the center, and sadly flavorless. I poured vinaigrette on top just to give them some taste. Even the small details felt neglected. The artificial plants on the tables were covered in dust. I would have preferred no décor at all instead of dusty décor. Overpriced and under flavored. I cannot say that I would go back. I am now on the hunt for a Greek restaurant that truly delivers on flavor.

I usually opt for the falafel gyro, the Greek salad is also yummy as well at the fries. I love that they also carry sweet potato fries. The concept is that you order at the register, you take a seat and they deliver your meal. There's no fluff or extravaganza but there is great food. There's place is nicely decorated and is always clean. One thing to note is that if you are a die hard fan of the classic coke or sprite beverages, they don't have any. During my last meal here, I noticed that they replaced the classics with their own homemade or in-house versions. This didn't bother me, but my partner wasn't too pleased about it. But we made do. This will still be a go to in our books.

Just used this awesome catering service this past weekend for my daughter's graduation party…read more She requested all Haitian finger food. I was reluctant as I didn't know if I would find a good, reliable, caterer who could make excellent Haitian appetizers. I must say I was really impressed! Chef Lemaire was very responsive to my requests. He communicated with me promptly & gave me good recommendations. The payment process for the deposit was easy (all done on-line) through a secure website. When the food was delivered Chef Noemi came with an assistant. They were both highly professional & efficient. The food was really delicious. It reminded me of my grandmother's parties. The bouchée & cornets were fabulous. My guests were raving about them! The servers were also very polite, professional & accommodating. Thanks Sensory Delights! My event was a real success!

My first try at this catering co. was when they posted a "Pop up Dinner" at a secret location to be…read morerevealed only after purchasing a reservation. I've always seen this on t.v. and so wanted to attend one, so i got my ticket for this event and was looking forward to the tasting. Mind you we had no idea what was on the menu, making it even more exiting !!!! Hints of the view were posted on F.B. so we knew it would be an ocean view, on a terrace...........and the view WAS breathtaking, The night of the event it started to rain, doubt and worries set in since we knew they wanted to do an outdoor seating. Did they anticipate bad weather? would it be postponed? As I picked up my date that was also attending the dinner we hoped for the best. It was held at Ft. Ldl beach. in a Penthouse. we valet parked. Arriving at the P.H. we opened the door and saw the seating was set for indoors. they greeted us and checked our names on the guest list and invited us to a glass of bubbly. An appetizer cheese and fruit station was there for guest to nibble on while we waited for others to arrive. The setting, decor and view were ALL top notch. Entertainment was provided by Famous Cello artist Guy Gogeta Michel and D.J Nyce. We sat chatted with our guest sitting across from us, glanced at the menu for the night. I was ready to try everything on it, even the risotto which I've never had and doubt I would like. But, I was here to try and experience new flavors. 1st course -- mixed baby greens with rasberry honey mustard vinaigrette 2nd - black musroom risotto (arboro rice) w red caviar, ,squid ink, calamari and parmasan cheese. ---- I have to say I was surprised at the complex and daring flavors, but, they all worked well and the caviar added a bit of salty to the dish two thumbs up !! 3rd - Rib eye on a bed af mashed cauliflower, charred asparagus, rainbow carrots with a bearnaise sauce. Rib eye was cooked medium rare (as it should be) and nicely seasoned. My date was surprised at how flavorful the rainbow carrots were, small but packed with flavor, I enjoyed the mash cauliflowers as well as the Rib eye. 4th was mixed desert platter with a shot of licquor. The staff was friendly and accomodating, I was very surprised to see he had thought of preparing Vegetarians dishes , as a guest sitting across from me was served fish and was delightfully pleased. A great dinner and good time was had by all. My only complaint??? !!! Some of the guest did not understand or know the meaning of a Pop up dinner. This was not a restaurant with servers, No you can't have the Rib eye well donne (really)!!!! No you can't have hot sauce (wow) !!! No you can't have unlimited wine. Iwould definitely go to another one again, and recommend their catering services.

I've never heard of this restaurant, nor did I read any reviews prior to ordering…read more I placed an order via Grubhub today, and I was a bit impressed, mainly for the flavors. Everything arrived within 40 min, still hot. I ordered a ramen broth, an order of tempura shrimp along with the spicy yaki udon. The udon was not spicy at all, but very delicious. Not sure why it's referred to as "spicy", there was not a single sight of red or green chilies. I would have loved for it to have a kick of spice, but nevertheless, still delicious. The appetizer shrimp a fail, they did feel a bit chewy/ rubbery, and dry. This was not my favorite. The hot ramen broth was soothing and on a cool day like today, well worth it. I wish that my order had arrived with chopsticks, or some type of utensils. None were provided, not even napkins. And I was a little disappointed that no sauces were provided, not even for the noodles. Often times some oriental places will provide siracha or some type of chill sauce. Perhaps this places does not offer those condiments? I wish that I could have given this a 4, even 5 star, but ordering from a food service one would hope the meal arrived with at least chopsticks, or some napkins. If I visit the restaurant in person, I'll be sure to update my review then.

I was today years old when I realized there is no actually hot dog inside! Instead, it's this incredibly yummy, gooey melted cheese stick covered in a crispy, salty-sweet potato square crust. If you have never had one of these, seriously--run, don't walk. It is an absolute must-try. Because the corn dog was so filling, I ended up having to take my main dish home, but it made for the best leftovers! I ordered the chicken katsu, and it was perfectly crispy. The edamame and pineapple in the katsu were a fresh touch that I really loved. Another major standout my friend got was the golden curry pineapple fried rice with shrimp. The balance of the savory curry heat with the sweet bursts of pineapple and plump shrimp was absolutely delicious. To top it all off, we grabbed some of their teas, I had passionfruit and my friend got the ombré passionfruit lemonade, which were refreshing, and the ideal way to round out a massive, flavor-packed meal.
