This place is amazing, one of the top 10 best restaurants that I have ever eaten at. We started with the Baba Ghanouj which was out of this world, The garlic yogurt (I think) and pickled vegies made it that much more special. I had the lamb Shish Kabob and my friend had Chicken Kabab both with kabsa rice and we both loved it. The kabsa rice was so tasty and aromatic, loved the cardamon. The portions were very generous, enough that we had enough for dinner the next night. What topped the dinner was the fresh baklava, so many delicious varieties. We bought a lot to take home. The young man who waited on us was so friendly and accommodating, and had a wonderful smile. Service was impeccable and we had a few nice discussions of language and culture. Once again young man, welcome to America. We will now be regulars. What a gem!

I brought my service animal with me because I've been in a highly stressful time so he needs to be around me. He's like a warning dog so they told me I'd have to order my food to go. The prices they serve on the menu is not like to go type of place. so I said OK I'll take my business somewhere else and as soon as I did, the other place was very greedy. I really need to stop being so Arabic judgmental about dogs. They do know that these type of dogs are the ones that find our people through the rubble.

I wish I had more pictures, but I usually dive in before I can snap them. Everything we've tried has been incredible, but I'll name a few personal favorites. The corn ribs - I don't know what they do to this corn, but we literally fight over these at the table. They have a sour tang to the spice and an addictive roasted flavor, and are perfect with the garlic sauce. The hummus - theirs is nutty and earthy with a smooth texture and served with chickpeas and garlic on top. It's a great starter too with the pita! The gyro - they actually use lamb for theirs, which is a huge plus for me since I can't eat the beef/lamb blend at most other places. The balance of fillings is perfect and the flavor is spot on here. The mint lemonade - so refreshing and not too sweet. I think about this stuff every time it's hot out and wish I had some. I order it every time I visit. The restaurant itself has more seating than you'd think, and offers a relaxing atmosphere where you can unwind. Everything comes out really fast, and the owner/manager is truly the best. He insisted on helping me and my mom to the car last time we got a big takeout order and is always very attentive to the table's needs. I know the plaza has some construction going on, but don't let that out you off of a visit. This place is absolutely worth it!

I decided to get the Media Luna which is half chicken and half beef shawarma with a side of fries or salad. I opted for the salad. The chicken half was heavenly and the chicken was seasoned nicely. The pita itself was soft and stuffed beyond belief with the chicken. The beef half was also amazing and the meat was cooked perfectly and nicely tender. the salad had a very nice vinigerette that had a nice bite to it and was perfect on the fresh salad. The media Luna was about $18 and well worth every penny. The place was super clean and nicely spaced out so I didn't feel like I was sitting shoulder to shoulder with anyone. The place was nicely decorated and was very clean. I liked also being able to see into the area where the kitchen and meat were on spits, slowly rotating and cooking. I will be stopping here again as soon as I am in the mood for some amazing shawarma!

The food was wonderful from start to finish, and the atmosphere made the experience even more special. There was something about the ambiance that took me right back to France, to those moments of breaking bread with my North African friends, surrounded by warmth, conversation, and the kind of hospitality that makes a place feel familiar the moment you walk in. I felt right at home. Fatima deserves special recognition. She was so kind to me and made me feel completely welcome. Her presence was gentle, warm, and sincere, and it elevated the entire experience. It honestly felt like I was being looked after at my Moroccan auntie's house. That kind of feeling cannot be faked, and it means a great deal. As for the food, it was amazing. The pastilla with chicken and almonds, dusted with sugar and cinnamon, was absolutely delicious, with that beautiful balance of savory richness and gentle sweetness that makes the dish so memorable. The msemmen was warm, comforting, and deeply satisfying. The merguez tajine was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The Moroccan harira had that soulful, nourishing quality that makes a great soup feel like part of the heart of the meal. The zaalouk was excellent as well, rich and flavorful and a perfect addition to everything else on the table. Dar Tajine gave us more than a meal. It gave us an experience filled with warmth, flavor, generosity, and heart. The food was amazing, the hospitality was genuine, and Fatima made a lasting impression. This place deserves real praise, and I would gladly return.

It is not Indian, Lebanese, or Turkish, but something in-between. If you like to try different food and flavors, you must try it, and the best place to try authentic Iranian food is Kuluck. From the ambiance to the staff to the service, it is second to none. But most importantly, you have to go there for the flavors. You can try kebab over rice (definitely get Kubideh or beef kebab I think is on the menu), or if you want more of a comfort food, try one of the stews. Ghormeh Sabzi (Beef & Green Herb Stew) is a must for a first timer, then you can try Gheyme (Yellow Split Pea Stew), Bedemjoon (Eggplant), and Fesenjoon (Chicken Pomegranate Stew) I can't name everything you must try. Start from the top of the menu and move down in every visit, or I guess alphabet order is another option I promise you won't be disappointed

The first thing we noticed, which was a bit unexpected, was the decor. The ambiance was really nice and inviting. This is the type of restaurant where someone could host a party. The service was really good too. We received water almost immediately after being seated, and our server came by shortly after. The manager stopped by throughout our visit to provide recommendations, and he was really nice. It made the experience feel more personal. For our appetizer, we ordered the Baba Ghannouj, which complemented the pita bread really well. It was our first time having it, and we did not know what to expect, but it was great. It was really flavorful, and we finished it wanting more. For our entrees, we had the Lamb Chops and the Seafood Tagine. The lamb chops were great. It was not a huge portion, but the meat was flavorful and cooked well. The presentation was also really nice. The Seafood Tagine looked great, and the sauce was incredibly flavorful. Everything about the dish worked well together, and we felt that all the flavors complemented one another. There was a good harmony between the ingredients. For dessert, we ordered the Kunafa, which was another first for us. We had never had it before, but the description really sold us on it. It was really good. This is the kind of dessert that is best shared since it is a little heavy. Toward the end of our visit, a belly dancer came out to perform, and it was really exciting. La Vie is a great restaurant, and we will definitely return. We felt as though we got a true Mediterranean experience during our visit.

We sat for a while chatting at one of the couches until my date realized no one had been by, so he figured he'd go to the counter. There wasn't a drink menu visible or offered, just a case w/some offerings. There wasn't a lot of options, at least visibly, but I was intrigued that they actually had coconut water from an ornamental coconut as an option! We later saw them bring what looked like hot tea or coffee to a table and would have liked that, but again, not offered or listed anywhere as an option. We also didn't see a food menu nor were we offered one or told they had one. But, again, saw them bringing food to the other tables. We just got the coconut water and a btl of something, but were not given the drinks when we left the counter? I thought that was weird. I guess he had to take off the top of the coconut? They have nice hookahs and we got the watermelon shisha, which was good, but the flavor died out rather quickly. They start off w/3 coals, but we ended up taking one off because it started burning too hot when pulling. It took awhile for the hookah to come out and it came out before our drinks did. Again, weird. I don't know how much it cost as my date paid for everything, but he said he wouldn't be back and he lives in the area. I don't know that I would either, but glad we gave them a try.
