Their inside feels like a greenhouse with tons of glass walls around but they also have a large patio (some shaded, some not spots). On Saturdays, they do 1/2 price frozen drinks, $1 wings, and $17 buckets of booze. I tried the Frozen Espresso Martini which was the perfect patio sipper! My friends got the Redtide which was a bit tart for me but they loved it. For food, we got some shareables for the table: Elote, Mac & Cheese, Ancho Carrots, and Cornbread. All the sides were amazing but the standouts were the elote and carrots. For meals, everyone got a mixture of Sandwiches and Golden Boy Plates. The Pig & Bull Sandwich was tender, packed with flavor, and loved the sweet slaw paired with it. Even on the plates, the meat was all juicy and tender. The ribs also had a slightly sweet glaze that gave a great competition style bite. Very meaty on top. I always fall back and forth on if I prefer full spares vs St. Louis cuts and today I'm a StL guy. The heat and spice level for the sausage today was nice and I'm taking bites in my hotel room while typing this. The 1/4 was Smokey but the skin was a little tough. Tho still flavorful and idk why but the sauce that came with it gave me some graham cracker vibes that I'm all for with how good it was. I kinda got distracted by a bird outside rather than the one on my platter so I wasn't fully paying attention. lol. A nice crunchy black pepper bark on the brisket with a moist interior. It was a super snowy day, and Joey went out of his way to help a neighbor. I was curious what Joey sold, so I walked into his store. Him and his partner, Rachel, run a Korean fried chicken store. Their chicken is off the charts flavorful. It's pretty simple, with just a small handful of flavors. The chicken is fresh, not frozen, and they do a really good job and clearly put a lot of heart into the food. Fairly limited menu, with just boneless and bone in chicken. A bunch of very tasty sides as well. But they do a limited number of things very well. Pricing is reasonable. You get what you pay for, and this is very high-quality stuff. Great customer service. And Joey is a great guy. Looking forward to my next visit!
