There are already 93 photos of the food posted on Yelp for this restaurant, so I did not bother. Here are menu photos. My husband has a Western omelette with cheddar and extra, and I had a partial order of vegan hashbrowns cooked in oil, not butter. The food looked really appetizing and good to both of us and we were hungry and could not wait to eat. It was not our physical hunger AT ALL. The food was really delicious! This place has changed hands so many times with different owners, different cooks, different names that we never know what it will be called the rate times that we head eat here (the wee hours of the morning). The only complaints that I have are the same as always... it was freezing in the restaurant and the handicapped parking spaces are nowhere near the ramp entrances on the curb. I am always on the lookout for disabled parking since my Mother is elderly and cannot walk far distances.

I've stopped here twice to get food to go. The only negative of this restaurant is I don't think they have online ordering and their website isn't very clear. I used pictures of their menu on Yelp to order and opted to call in my order. However, they easily took my order on the phone and had it ready in 5 minutes. It was completely accurate and the food was cooked perfectly. I had two eggs with American, hash browns, French toast, and bacon. It all was delicious! I would order this again! I also ordered the Nutella, strawberry, and banana crepes. I appreciated the amount of fruit they put on top. They don't put fruit in the crepes which is fine, but they needed more Nutella in them. The crepes had a nice flavor.

If you're looking for a good breakfast place you should visit this place. After shopping at dicks across the street we came here to check out their chilaquiles and steak sandwiches. Service was quick and food was delicious! We would visit again if we come back in town.

Just went to Berrylicious for brunch for the first time with nephew and family. I was very pleasantly surprised - the entrance reception area and the Restraunt decor looked pretty good. Service was quick and excellent. We ordered Nutella waffle, Berrylicious crepe (the best I have had recently) and banana cake. All items were worth it. Will definitely go there again

We went here for breakfast. Since it was a local restaurant, we decided to give them a try. Very disappointed. The food didn't really have a lot of flavor and was overpriced. It has a bar feeling than a restaurant. The crowd there is a mix. The service was ok

After searching for a bruch spot in Lombard near our hotel, I found this little gem. Our party of 5 stopped in on an early Sunday afternoon and were immediately seated. Our server Tammy was incredible! She was friendly, funny, engaging and made our first visit a great experience! Our table started by sharing the Banana Bread, which was served French toast style. The bread was thick, dense, sweet and easily a meal in and of itself. I ordered a spicy Bloody Mary and the Fiesta Bowl. The Bloody Mary hit the spot, and would have been even better if they had beer for a chaser. The Fiesta Bowl, with Chorizo, Jalapeños and Chihuahua Jalapeño cheese was spicy, savory and very filling. The zesty blend of flavors and firmness of the potatoes made for an excellent dish I highly recommend. This is a nicely sized space with front bar and a few different seating options. A wonderful place to gather and enjoy the incredible variety of brunch options for every taste.

The cute outside pink building will attracted you to come inside to dine. But, the food wasn't the greatest. I ordered the traditional breakfast. eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, pancakes and some burnt sausages. The atmosphere was comfortable and cozy. Reasonable prices. Even though I had to wait awhile to be seated. The service was good and attentive.

First time at the BERRYLICIOUS Cafe for Breakfast with my friend Omer! They were extremely busy but thankfully they had a high top table available so we were seated quickly. Customer service was fast and friendly. The food was hot and fresh! Beautiful Earthy Ambiance of the cafe. Definitely recommend this cafe to all!

We made a stop here for breakfast and sat outside and their little patio area. We ordered a couple cups of coffee and a Denver omelette to share. Service was very friendly and food came out quick, however overall service was very slow. We sat for a long time before we stopped our coffee was refilled and I had to go find the waiter for our check when we were done. The Denver omelette was extremely dry. The fruit was good though. Overall okay. Maybe the kitchen was short staffed and staff was busy inside. But I can't say based on our experience, I would make a stop back in here again.

Just checking in at this place! First time trying!

At first, I was disappointed they didn't have Chicago Italian beef. So I asked what they would recommend, and the very polite lady behind the counter said, "You should try my meatball sub." I laughed and told her, "I don't know... my late grandma (100% Italian) made the best meatballs ever, but alright, let's do it." Then she asked, "Do you want peppers?" and of course my reply was, "Heck yeah!" She chuckled. When the sub came out, I have to say, it was huge. I sat down, took one quick smell and a bite... BOOM. I was instantly transported back to my grandma's kitchen, eating Saturday pasta and meatballs. I highly recommend checking this little gem out. The service, the atmosphere, and especially the food were all amazing. I definitely was not disappointed. P.S. Don't skip the desserts -- once again, absolutely amazing. I'm not a big grilled cheese guy as it's mostly carbs and fat, but Meltwich has other items like chicken and beef. For example, they have a couple of sandwiches with grilled chicken, a couple burger options, even a Philly cheese steak option. They also have a variety of fries and milkshakes. I'd like to try one of the fries w/ meat items some other time. I was overwhelmed with the options, but the employee pointed out his two favorite options, so that helped me narrow it down. I went with the Southern Fried Chicken Melt (just the sandwich, not the combo). It was fried chicken with melted cheese and some veggies smushed between multi-grain bread. It was served very hot, so after a couple of attempted bites I decided to take it home to eat. It was very tasty. It took about 12 minutes to come out. I definitely plan to go again and try some other items. Service was excellent. I think pricing was fair ($12.95 for the sandwich only, plus tax & tip) considering the size of the sandwich; it was enough for two people, quite frankly.

The parking lot and the restaurant on a weekday morning is plentiful. Service could be improved. Is it Maria? The young and cute one that provided an awesome service. We ordered half biscuits and gravy, stuffed French toast, and sweet hot fried chicken and waffles. I'm not quite sure why my half order of biscuits and gravy took about 22 mins to make. It was faster at other places. They were good, not amazing. We received the main entrees a few minutes later. They were huge portions. I got my fried chicken on the mild side because I didn't know how spicy they make it. The mild version was still good. They were easy to cut and tangy. The waffles were firm but soft. Their hashbrowns are made with canola oil, and by default only, they are vegan. They serve a very bad fruit cup at a very high price. If you bring your own vegan butter, their toast and English muffin are options as well. Vegetarians do well at any breakfast diner. It was a solid 7, which is why I place it at 3.5 stars. I may be being picky here but it just wasn't to the level of "melt-in-your-mouth" pastrami standards for me. Not to say it wasn't good, because it was perfectly fine. In fact, it's better than most of the pastrami sandwiches I tried in Chicagoland. Maybe it's the fact that I had to bring it back to the office to eat it, and half hour had gone by and pastrami weren't as warm and the Jewish rye had become soggy by the time I took the first bite. I mean, it goes without saying that the sandwich would have been 3 times better had I sat down immediately and had it. Again, all things considered, it was a perfectly good sandwich. One interesting thing was that I had never been to an establishment that included a half sour pickle instead of a normal one and gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. Pickles can be a hit or a miss for me. I like my pickles to be crunch, but some places offer overripened ones that become borderline mushy. Schmaltz's half sour pickle was not overly salty or sour, making it very attractive for me. The more I'm thinking about it, I'm convinced that I'll have to go back and try their #14 Sloppy Paul, which is the corned beef with sauerkraut, which is another favorite of mine. I always order the large, and it's packed with so much fresh meat that I can give a generous portion of the turkey to my toddler as a snack and still have a full sandwich left for myself. That's saying something! Their potato salad is also outstanding. It tastes homemade, not like something scooped out of a mass-produced container. It's exactly the kind of potato salad you picture enjoying on a hot summer day. What really sets Tony & Tina's apart is the customer service. The owners genuinely care about their customers. It was nicely filled. They definitely don't use Turano rolls and I found the bread to be dense and not absorbant of the jus. The reason that I order it dry is because usually there's enough moisture in there to soak through the Turano roll without it being dipped but this was not so it was actually bone dry. Sure, I've lived here for 45 years so you can call me a purist but if I had known it would have been that dry I definitely would have had it dipped.
