This place is super cute across from a waterfront! Note that it's outdoor only so perfect on a nice day. We tried CT roll & Cajun Roll both were good the lobster was a tad bit overcooked but still edible! Fries were perfect!! and our drinks were good too. We def have plans on coming back and trying some appetizers as well they had a good variety to choose from. The service is quick and the bus boy was super attentive and nice. Id give them a 8.5/10

Love this place. We stood on line to order and then handed a number to wait for our food at our table. This place is great to come to when the weather is nice. The lobster rolls were packed with lobster meat and were buttery. The fries are thin and crispy. The only thing I could complain is that the slaw was a little dry but it was still delicious. They have a variety of food and drink options. The later you get here, it gets packed. The staff does a great job to get the tables ready for the next group getting seated.

This was my first time here and I will definitely be back! I had the frozen rosé wine and the crispy shrimp tacos everything was amazing. Great food, drinks, and overall experience!

    Missed this place so much!

Quality severely declined. I'd rather take the long drive out east for lobster that is properly cooked. Not sure what happened, but it's soo chewy, nothing like how it used to taste. It was sour and fishy but not worth waiting another 35 minutes for more mediocre food.

The food was delicious. I had the Connecticut lobster roll which was packed with lobster. The pulled pork sandwich was very tasty. The crab cakes I was nervous about because they looked like hush puppies but they were so good. You order at a food truck but there are plenty of outdoor tables to sit at. There was also a live band. They have a bar. I brought a margarita but it was only okay.

Stopped by on a Monday early after and it wasn't busy. Service was quick and attentive. Not pictured is the fish and chips. Food was absolutely delicious. Truly a classic Connecticut lobster roll. Fries were crispy.

Ok, I looove me a good lobster roll in summer. Hubby and I tried to get a table at this place but it's always so crowded, so I decided to order for delivery. Let me tell you!!! This lobster roll it's really up there for me. Tasty, stuffed with lobster meat, I def recommend for you guys and stop by, hopefully you can get a table.

Last day of the year before they're closed and not open until the next year. It's a purely outdoor restaurant where you order from the truck and bar and then find a seating area. Overall the food was great, fresh and tasty. The crab cakes were delicious and stuffed with fresh crab. The angry lobster roll is a traditional cold lobster roll with a mayo that is spicy which was delicious, highly recommend. The Bayou roll is a Cajun honey lobster roll served warm and the Cajun was apparent but not too overbearing. Also a hint of sweetness, highly recommend as well. The bread was very crispy and the rolls were pretty stuffed with lobster. Great place that started to have customers pour in around noon so definitely a place highly sought after in the community. Today was also half off all drinks !

If you have a car and love to explore food, I highly recommend trying out this place. They have a small parking lot, so no need to worry about parking. It's also not your normal restaurant vibe, but definitely a vibe. As you enter the gate of goodness lol- you'll see the food truck, a bathroom or two to the left, and to the right you have tables to sit on and the Bar. I can only speak on the Lobster roll and french fries, which, they never fail to amaze me, 10/10. I also, have gotten their margaritas which is super delicious. My friends also said that their food were delicious. I do recommend going on a day that is not raining. You'll be able to enjoy the nice scenery and take pictures. I do believe that they have live concerts but please check out their websites for further information. Cash or card is accepted, not sure if they accept apple pay. But, before the Summer ends go take a stroll to this lovely neighborhood and go eat some great food.

Connecticut Lobster Roll and Traditional Lobster Roll
    Dasle K.

The big debate remains: traditional Lobster roll or Connecticut lobster roll?! My vote is for Connecticut. The traditional Lobster roll was good but i could barely taste the lobster after all the mayo. The warm, buttery CT version has my vote. Get here right when it opens. There is plenty of outdoor seating but it started getting busy by the time we left. Super kid-friendly! It was beautiful weather and the views are great here, right by the boating dock. Loved our meal here, can't wait to check out their other locations.

What a great spot! Came here on a Friday afternoon with one of my brothers and it was well worth the cost of lobster at (MP). I ordered the shrimp po'Boy came with fries and my bro order the Connecticut lobster roll. They come with fries and coleslaw. Flavor of the shrimp po' boy was out for his world! The flavor on each bite of shrimp with the potato roll was A1. The lobster roll was stuffed and all accounts say it was worth the cost. The boozy Arnold Palmer's were tremendous, great flavor. The vibe easy going open air seating and the table runner is ready to clear off tables and keeping it clean. Definitely the kind of place you can go to for lunch or hit it for a quick drink. 5/5 stars!

This is a very nice spot right on the water. Just keep in mind that you order food at the counter, get a number, and then find your table your meal will be delivered to you. Drinks are ordered separately at the bar, so you'll need to visit both spots if you want food and beverages. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, the food was delicious, and they even have live music after a certain time, which adds to the charm.

The lobster roll was good but not great, pretty overpriced for the amount of lobster you get. It's a much better deal over at Jordan's where they stuff the lobster roll

Ask the Community - Lazy Lobster

Is it easy to find parking?

There's street parking and public parking lots across from the restaurant.

What days do the bands play? I’d like to go from queens but would like to also listen to live music.

Hi. We have live music 7 days a week. Bigger bands Friday thru Monday. Monday always a fun night. Our house band plays 6:30-9:30. A little less crazy than the weekends. Our website has a full live music schedule. Any questions just let us know.…

What's in a angry lobster roll?

It is our traditional lobster roll with an added kick. Not too spicy but if you like a kick, this is the roll for you!

Yelp said the place is open and it's not. Saturday 5:00pm and the place is closed. What's the deal?

    Are they dog friendly?

I'm not sure but if you call them I'm sure they'll let you know.

Do they close for the winter? When do they open after winter?

Yes, closed for the winter, opens again in the spring.

As someone who isn't the biggest fan of tomato based soups, but doesn't always want the heaviness of a cream based soup, this is the best of both worlds. Its flavor was rich yet balanced. The cream brought a smooth, velvety body and subtle sweetness, while the tomato added a bright acidity and savory depth. Potatoes provided gentle heft and earthy comfort, while onions, celery, and herbs built a layered, homey backbone. There was a good amount of tender clams, with natural sweetness that tied everything together. We also got an order or mini crab cakes. The exterior was golden fried, with a nice crunch. The interior was more crab than filler, with enough structure that it held together. It was simply seasoned, supporting the crab instead of overshadowing it. The horseradish Dijon sauce was more Dijon than horseradish. It brought a gentle tang and little bite to add a depth of flavor to the crab cake. Also of note, when you sit down they bring tartar sauce and cocktail sauce to your table. Both sauces were honestly the best of their kind that I can remember having in a very long time. I couldn't even tell you what made them so amazing, but I must have commented at least 7 times about how good they were. There's a reason Bigelow's has been around for almost 90 years. It's a simple spot, with old school charm, that knows a good thing when it's got it, and doesn't mess with perfection.
