We got there a bit before the dinner crowd hit and were able to get a spot right away. The location is technically within a marina but across from the water. You still get the breeze and a beautiful view! This is definitely more of a casual spot. You order drinks from the bar and food from a separate food truck. You cannot pay for drinks and food at the same time but the system just...works? My spicy margarita was delicious, the frose looked good, and my Key West sandwich was yummy. I also got an order of sweet potato tots for us to share and they were great! My partner had the burger and he enjoyed it. Live music pretty much every evening. We headed out by the time they were done with sound check but before that there was a great playlist of music over the speakers. This place is super cute across from a waterfront! Note that it's outdoor only so perfect on a nice day. We tried CT roll & Cajun Roll both were good the lobster was a tad bit overcooked but still edible! Fries were perfect!! and our drinks were good too. Love this place. We stood on line to order and then handed a number to wait for our food at our table. This place is great to come to when the weather is nice. The lobster rolls were packed with lobster meat and were buttery. The fries are thin and crispy. The only thing I could complain is that the slaw was a little dry but it was still delicious. Last day of the year before they're closed and not open until the next year. It's a purely outdoor restaurant where you order from the truck and bar and then find a seating area. Overall the food was great, fresh and tasty. The crab cakes were delicious and stuffed with fresh crab. The angry lobster roll is a traditional cold lobster roll with a mayo that is spicy which was delicious, highly recommend. The Bayou roll is a Cajun honey lobster roll served warm and the Cajun was apparent but not too overbearing. Also a hint of sweetness, highly recommend as well. The bread was very crispy and the rolls were pretty stuffed with lobster. Great place that started to have customers pour in around noon so definitely a place highly sought after in the community. If you have a car and love to explore food, I highly recommend trying out this place. They have a small parking lot, so no need to worry about parking. It's also not your normal restaurant vibe, but definitely a vibe. As you enter the gate of goodness lol- you'll see the food truck, a bathroom or two to the left, and to the right you have tables to sit on and the Bar. I can only speak on the Lobster roll and french fries, which, they never fail to amaze me, 10/10. I also, have gotten their margaritas which is super delicious. My friends also said that their food were delicious. I do recommend going on a day that is not raining. You'll be able to enjoy the nice scenery and take pictures. I do believe that they have live concerts but please check out their websites for further information. Cash or card is accepted, not sure if they accept apple pay. The big debate remains: traditional Lobster roll or Connecticut lobster roll?! My vote is for Connecticut. The traditional Lobster roll was good but i could barely taste the lobster after all the mayo. The warm, buttery CT version has my vote. Get here right when it opens. There is plenty of outdoor seating but it started getting busy by the time we left. Super kid-friendly! It was beautiful weather and the views are great here, right by the boating dock. What a great spot! Came here on a Friday afternoon with one of my brothers and it was well worth the cost of lobster at (MP). I ordered the shrimp po'Boy came with fries and my bro order the Connecticut lobster roll. They come with fries and coleslaw. Flavor of the shrimp po' boy was out for his world! I heard good things about Lazy Lobster so I went there to hear a band that was playing, have some food a good time. When I went to sit down the security says you have to order food and then sit down. What? But I wanted to sit down have a drink or two then order food. No you can't. But I can order a drink at the bar but then you have to wait on line with your drink in hand on the sidewalk and then you can sit down. BS. This place does not know how to run a business. The line was like 20 people long and you have no choice but to wait on line before sitting down like some kind of grade school cafeteria. No class this place. If you treat me like that, you are not getting my business. Go to Freeport and the Nautical Mile, they seat you like a human being and treat you like you are important to them. And they have great music. Needless to say I did not stay and will never return--unless they learn how to run a business and treat people with respect. Lazy Lobster, yes they are lazy. read more

This review is tough for me, because there are so many positives, I really want to give a higher score but just cannot. Almost leaning more towards two stars, but don't feel like that's fair given how much I want to like this place. First the positives: The entire space is fantastic. Super spread out so great for families. The staff were all really nice and helpful navigating an extensive good looking menu, and you really couldn't beat the area. It was near some water and availability of parking made it easy to pull up and get in. The bathrooms are clean, condiments and any extras you need are all right there for you, and I liked the concept of a food truck separate from the bar. Now for the critical feedback. The food itself tasted ok, but my whole family felt sick the rest of the evening after having lunch. Not food poisoning sick, but too much old grease and absorbent amount of butter just feeling gross after sick. Reminded me of how I felt when I was younger after eating a bunch of fried food at a bowling alley. We came in for lunch and no one wanted dinner, because we all felt sick several hours later. Next the pricing. I get the MP for lobster being necessary, but just update it daily. We got one order of chicken strips and fries for the girls and two different lobster rolls for my wife and I, and it came it to $100. Definitely didn't expect that seeing everything on the menu was under $20. The last thing, and this kind of made me mad; if you are serving $40 lobster rolls, you should have a decent wine option for guests.... I asked what rose or white they had, and the bartender admitted it was sad and pulled out a 1.5 liter bottle of Woodbridge. The step above box wine. That's all you could get. I still can't believe you are serving the absolute worst wine that comes in a bottle to your customers with $40 lobster rolls. No reason you can't have both a nice option and a cheap one. Makes zero sense. Two glasses of the worst wine out there, with a can of domestic beer and I got hit with another $30 tab. Feel like I got taken advantage of to be honest. In summary, I wish I could give 2.5 stars. There is so much to build off of. This place could be epic, but there needs to be some changes made before I'd consider coming back. read more

Finally got to visit lazy lobster and wow! 10/10!! Came around noon on a Monday and it was empty!!!! The last two times we attempted to come here it was crazy packed. So we were so relieved to see that there wasn't a crazy line. It was our first time and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Food is ordered at the truck and a number is given to you. The number is then placed on the stand where you choose to sit. Once the food is ready someone will bring the food out to your table. We ordered crispy fish tacos and the bayou lobster roll ($28.95). We were surprised and happy to see they offered a kids menu $10 for 3 nice sized chicken fingers, fries and a Mott's apple juice box with the best honey mustard sauce. (4% discount if paying in cash). I must say it was so nice to finally get a lobster roll on a toasted bun... the bayou roll has the perfect amount of hot honey and sprinkled with chives - perfection! The crispy fish tacos were also delish! Drinks are ordered separately at the bar-I got the spicy big girl margarita- it was fantastic. What a great find! Super clean and energetic summer spot. Loved having a friend meet up here, it was super easy. The service was kind and helpful, and easy as its window order and take to your seat (for drinks; the food truck food is delivered to your table). Pros: great outdoor atmosphere (no indoor seating) near the water. there are 3 styles of lobster roll to choose from: New England, Connecticut and Angry (with Sriracha Mayo) but there are many non lobster options. There was live music on the Saturday evening we were there. Street parking not hard to find. Cons: the traditional lobster roll lacked flavor to me even with lemon added. For $32 i need more flavor. I'd recommend Connecticut or Angry if you get a lobster roll. If you are there with friends the live music makes it too loud to have any conversation. I loved the Lazy Lobster. I generally love anywhere with a little alliteration in the title. Our party of 4 showed up on a Saturday evening. We didn't have a problem getting a table after ordering. We placed our orders at the front of the food cart and then got a seat and someone came to take our drink orders. The meal didn't come cheap, but it's Long Island seafood right by the water and it was delicious so it was worth every dollar. I ordered the the lobster roll which came with a side of fries and the Buffalo beef & cheese empanadas. The lobster roll was perfect - cool and well mixed in Mayo on a toasted bun. The fries were warm and crunchy. I also ordered the Buffalo beef and cheese empanadas, which were a little too spicy for me to enjoy. Luckily, my friends had no problem eating them for me. Our group also had the calamari, the shrimp salad, and a few other things. The calamari was amazing - the perfect temperature and perfect texture. Lazy Lobster is a great waterside, seasonal, outdoor restaurant. I've been here many times and the food is consistently good no matter which day of the week, or time of day I've been there. The staff and owner are very friendly and you can tell that they care about their patrons. They have live bands performing, and a busy bar. I just wish they were open all-year round at this location. I've been to lazy lobster a few times. It gets extremely crowded especially if there's live music going on so I recommend getting here as early as possible. I've seen the band VHS play a few times when I was going to their performances on a somewhat regular basis. The space gets tight so there isn't much room for dancing. The band performing takes up most of the stage space and tables take up the rest of the outdoor space. To get your food you have to wait on line for it and place your order at the kitchen station. Once you get your order you are given a number. I believe they take cash only but I'm not sure. I don't drink but they have a well stocked bar that you also wait on line for to get drinks. I had a virgin pina colada it was pretty good. They have a water gallon with self serve water which is great because if you need water until they take it away towards the end of the evening you've got water without being a pain and asking. I'm also a vegetarian so I only ate the fries, the pretzel nuggets and the sweet potato tots they were all very good though. Even when I previously ate meat and fish in my life I wasn't a fan of lobster. It's not my thing. Until I move out of my dad's with my son that day cannot come fast enough but I still have so much more money to save and so much more debt to get down so by the time I can move it's either more manageable or almost gone Lazy Lobster is pretty local to me. They have a new location in Massapequa which I haven't gone to yet but that one might be closer to me when I can move and get my son and I a place for just us. I'm hoping for a house boat in Seaford because we'll be closer to my son's school.
