Pot Roast with a potato puree, carrots, and gravy!

Had a great time sitting on the patio with some friends. It is always lovely to dine and reunite with friends in PLO. Such an amazing place to go in the summer. I had the pot roast which was so good! I drank some lemonades. The service was very good!

Our first visit here. The crab & corn dip appetizer was delicious! I had the Reynolds burger which was cooked medium rare exactly as ordered! Hats off to chef Patrick Delay!! The house made Choclate Mousse was topped with their dense whipped cream and berries. The service was prompt and friendly. I will absolutely return!

    Short ribs

Went there on a Saturday night. Sat at the bar and the bartender Eric was the best! A mixologist! Very knowledgeable. One of the best martinis I have ever had. We got some appetizers from the specials and split entrees. The Live music was an added bonus. Will be eating here again!

I ordered the roasted beets, Irish Soda Bread Rolls and their J.A.H. 1946 Burger , My wife gets their Reuben Sandwich and both were absolutely amazing. The beets were perfectly cooked with great flavor, and the special burger was juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every bite was a delight! The service was outstanding too -- our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. They really know how to take care of their guests. One fun little touch: I accidentally walked out with one of their pens, and I just want to say thank you for that! Ted's caught our eye, as we prefer drinks outdoors and waterside. As we walked the property trying to decide where to sit amongst the many choices (beach, dock, bar, adirondacks), I noticed a duo bringing in equipment. Adirondacks front and center of band stage was the only choice. Cold beer for me, frozen margarita with a floater for my lady. We settled in for some classic rock tunes ( Dead, Beatles, and some early 70's 1 hit wonders). Food truck grilled cheese perfection with enough crispy handcut fries the feed a family if five. Just a perfect Saturday! ...and a Mrs. Roper Pub Crawl at all 3 bars on the bay side (picture for illustration only as it was next door).

Better late than never with this backdated review--life has just been lifing!…read moreI finally made it to Artemis on July 22nd after fiending to go since January. There's actually a hilarious story behind why I went. I was originally supposed to have a date that night, but let's be real: you'd think a 61-year-old man would know better than to take a 47-year-old woman to Dave & Buster's. I canceled the night before, dolled myself up the day of, and decided to take myself out instead. Best decision ever. The joint is dimly lit. But your eyes wind up adjusting. It's got a great vibe. Definitely excellent for a date night. The bartenders here are absolute rockstars. I started with a Painkiller. Even though it's no longer on the menu, they whipped it up for me anyway--and hey, it definitely relieved my pain, lol! Next, I tried a Corpse Reviver just because it had absinthe in it. It was different, but I really enjoyed it. Naturally, I had to finish with my signature drink, a Cosmopolitan, because I am the Black Carrie Bradshaw of Long Island. And it did not disappoint. The eats: I got the charcuterie board--fancy and bougie, just like me--and wrapped up the night with the brownie à la mode for dessert. Drowning my troubles in sweets is a must when the Long Island dating pool is an absolute wasteland, lmao. Did I want to spend my night around teenagers, kids, and skee-ball? HELL NO! I wanted a grown-and-sexy speakeasy vibe, and Artemis delivered. 5/5 stars--would 100% recommend!

I was curious if this place was a restaurant, a bar, or a lounge. I would say this place is definitely a lounge. The vibe was great, very chill and unpretentious. The drinks were on point and the food was delicious! Their menu is more finger foods and decent bites if you plan to drink. I would like to see 1 or 2 more food menu items added but everything we had was very very good. We had the sampler and it was perfect for us. The DJ was everything! The music was so good. Old school early 2000's hip hop and r&b. But I hear on any given night, the music goes to the vibe of the crowd. The service was fantastic. We were deciding between a few caterers and had a tasting with the Perry's that just sealed the deal. My (now) husband and I walked out of there saying it felt like we just had lunch with our aunt & uncle, it felt like we had known them that long! They are two amazingly warm people -- of course it helps that John is incredibly organized and good at his job and that Nikki makes the most delicious bites. We devoured every little last bite at that tasting.. Nothing went to waste! John was so helpful with everything leading up to the day of as well, from picking out rentals, to working out our timeline. We decided to have a different format (cocktail stations as opposed to a formal sit-down dinner) and working together, John helped us make sure we'd have a smooth flow and that everything would go off without a hitch. As we were working out the details with the rentals, I never felt like he was pushing me one way or the other -- even when he put together the list of kitchen items they'd need (my venue did not provide any set-up), I knew he was being careful about not over-ordering. I really felt like he had my best interests in mind at all times. Having him to coordinate all the details made me feel at ease.. I knew I was in good hands! On our actual wedding day, we were so well taken care of. The staff made sure we were eating (haha, doesn't always happen at weddings!) and everything ran so smoothly. Later in the evening, a very traumatic family emergency happened during the reception that put a frightening pause on the celebration. John was a rock and I really felt like I looked to him for the "What now?" John & Nikki were different from some of our other vendors with whom we'll probably not be in touch again. I feel like we'll be sending John & Nikki Christmas cards for years to come.. :) They embraced us and made us feel like family, and I'm certain they will you too.
