I went to them in November of 2023 and bought a grand design reflection 5th wheel camper at a GREAT PRICE! I have been living in it for the past 3 years and I still love it. I just to warn everyone about LazyDays RV in Portland. They will not protect your RV when you bring it in for service and their service department is the slowest in the country. Last March 28, 2024, we brought our Tiffin Wayfarer in for warranty and maintenance work. No work once done and April 6, 2024, after leaving the keys on the driver's seat (standard practice there for any RVs left for service), someone drove it off the lot, through a gate. Through "Mercedes me" app, we located it April 10th and the sheriff had it towed to a lot and then back to LazyDays for repair. The thieves had torn off the front bumper, broken the right front jack, damaged the drawer slides, tore off the ventilation pipe, thus creating a hole in the roof, & damaged the water pump. By July 20th, we insisted & got it back to attend a rally, but only a new key fob obtained and the front body repair work was done in that 4 months (no maintenance nor warranty work nor repair of damages). We returned it to LazyDays 9/5/2024 only because the Tiffin Company and our insurance agents advised us to. They still needed to do the warranty work, repairs and maintenance. Feb 3, 2025 we hired an attorney to try to get the work done and our RV returned. After many letter from her to corporate, we finally picked up our RV May 15, 2025 repaired. So basically their service department had our RV for a total of 13 months. So unless you don't care if your RV is stolen and damaged through their negligence and then kept for more than a year getting shoddy work, we would advise against buying from them and using them for service. read more

They sold me an RV, and as soon as it was sold to me, they showed no concern for the customer at all, claiming to be deeply religious and talking about values. Still, after selling me a piece of trash, I could not get any help. I called and told them about how the AC unit was causing my unit to leak inside, and I asked if it leaks this badly now, what will happen when it rains. All they did was transfer me from person to person. The salesperson just ignored my calls and texts. They are waiting until the warranty expires to respond. Do not buy anything from these people. read more

Avoid at all costs! They had our RV in for some minor repairs and to check one of the slides, which they deemed as fine. Upon the return of our RV, we took it out a week after to make sure everything was functioning properly and when we tried to open a different slide that had been operating normal prior to the service department visit, one motor had been put into reverse which made the slide go in on one side and come out on the other, which in turn damaged the slide. We reached out to the company that makes the slide mechanism and the tech support person informed us that the only way it could have been put in that position is if someone had toggled a switch on the control module and he assessed that it likely happened when the LD tech was checking the other slide. The tech support person had us put the switch into the correct position, which needed a small screw driver to engage. We immediately called the LD service department as well as the person (DM) that initially sold us the RV. We dropped off the RV and they got the approval to fix the slide since it was clear that there had been an error made in the service dept. They had our RV for Several months with very little communication/updates, and before we picked it up after they supposedly fixed the slide, I had them send pictures that I had requested of them repairing the slide, which they did. Upon reviewing the photos, I noticed that they had repaired the incorrect slide and let them know. The damaged slide still wasn't functioning properly and we left it with the service department so it could be fixed. They were able to get it slide in and out, but it made a terrible squealing noise and had been deemed as a total replacement by the SD prior to there mix up. Here is where the situation took a turn and LD refused to repair the slide that they had damaged. The general manager and the service department manager tried to blame us for their mistake and lied on several occasions. The Service manager (CB) is the worst I have ever encountered, lacking professionalism and proper customer service. She did not return phone calls/texts, lied, and tried to blame us for their incompetence. The general manager, MP, would not even engage in a professional manner and refused to rectify the problem. We then reached out to LD corporate headquarters. They required we send an email, which we did, detailing the issue. The LD customer care rep was just as bad as the GM and SM and didn't even bother to read the very detailed email witch had proof of what had happened. Basically we were told nothing would be done. Unless you enjoy incompetent, shady work done on your RV and enjoy an incompetent GM and SM, avoid this place. If you do decide to do business with LD, make sure you have a good attorney on your team. We sold our RV and will never purchase another, as there are no industry standards in general in the RV business. We tell everyone we know not to do any type of business with Lazy Days and some that were going to look at RV's at LD are now looking elsewhere. Thank goodness for social media! read more

Sadly, the honeymoon is over. It's on me, I fully admit because I didn't verify last spring when I discovered missing and cross threaded lug nuts on one of the wheels. Yes, they got me in right away but it was done so quickly I know know because I discovered this spring when I serviced wheel bearings, absolutely nothing was done when they promised it had been. My experience at Lazy Days RV in Portland Oregon was one of my worse one's ever. After agreeing to buy a left over Entegra Odessey SE I paid my deposit over the phone. We live 3000 miles away so I had a few questions for the sales agent who name is Jeff Besine do not talk with him he very unprofessional and will not answer your phone calls, emails or anything he's rude and could care less about the customer. When I decided to hire an independent inspector to go over my RV before we picked it up the dealership finance person Roxie called me and told me they don't allow them onsite and i would be charged extra money if a independent person inspected the RV. Do not shop at this dealership they are rude, will lie to your face after they get your deposit, and try to change the price on the RV after agreeing to a deal. The dealership actually cancelled my sale after I called them out on a pre inspection request talk about a shady outfit. Really what were they hiding in a brand-new RV that's been on their lot for almost two years? My only recommendation is if you decide to shop here don't ask for Jeff Besine he doesn't know what he's talking about and will lie right to your face. So to start. Stay away from this dealership. When I first went there the sales rep didn't call me back several times and I ended up talking to a different one. Before I got the rv the service department does a walk through to make sure everything is working. They did a horrible job. During the walk through I did with dealership I found the following things. -light on stove dial wasn't working -missing microwave plate -missing speaker cover -bathroom door not aligned -the extra tv mount was mounted upside down -propane tanks not full as promised They fixed this but this was all missed by the service walk through. After I got the rv home the next day I found even more. -no Curtains in one of the bedroom windows -no mini blinds bar in kitchen window -no tv remote for outside tv -tv cable cord broken on outside tv -bedroom light stripped out in wall -shampoo holder wouldn't latch It's been 2 1/2 months and I've called them weekly. I've talked to service and service manager and they have done nothing. They have called me 2 times and that's it. The sales guy I dealt with has emailed service and his manager for me many times and still nothing. With the things they missed on there original walk through and all the things I found after I got it home is a joke. I wouldn't trust them with anything. Especially since they mounted the tv bracket upside down what I had to take down and remount the correct way. Many reviews they respond with email this email address. Bought an RV from Lazy days and let me tell you, lazy days is right they are lazy. They were suppose to clean our RV before we took it, dog hair was every where stuck in seats, carpet, dust covered counter tops. Who ever cleaned the carpets just put soap down and didn't rinse. Went to clean a spot up they should of cleaned and suds came up from the carpet. Not only did they do a Lazy job on the cleaning, they charged us a def fluid charge even though our RV is a 2005 and doesn't take def fluid. Our main slide out motor died only after opening it twice and the pump for the jacks died a little after a month of ownership. They did fix the slide but had to use the extended warranty for the jacks. We were recommended to go there to purchase an RV well I don't recommend it to anyone. read more

OMG where do I start. The service department is so incompetent. They will tell you they fix things and come to find out they didn't. You will find this out your next trip. They will hold your RV for months. Their hacks replaced a skylight and over tighten the screws which cracked again on my next trip. Right now they have it again to fix the skylight and the black tank valve (that doesn't shut) giving you a shot of crap when opening the cover. Major health issue. This is the 2nd go around for both items. Warranty things. Right now they have had it for 3 weeks and haven't hit a lick. Their idea is to out wait you and pay them out of pocket for warranty work. From start to finish Lazy Days Rv hit it out of the park! We were after a Grand Design 2800BH and found Lazy days had a nice pre-owned 22' unit in stock. Our salesman Dave Gehl (Big Dave) was amazing and didn't make us feel rushed or like he was pushing us to buy answering many questions on the unit we were interested in and even helped us get a deal we were both comfortable with. Fast forward to delivery and we were welcomed warmly by Dave in Finance who also was not pushy whatsoever and very friendly. Next up we met Jesse (Parts guy extraordinaire & delivery person) who spent time showing us the ins and outs while being respectful to us being seasoned RV'ers who know a good amount (Still learned a few things!). Lastly, we met Ember in service who helped us get a couple of items corrected on the unit in no time at all (no fault of theirs!) while we waited. After working in the car business for 15 years myself I can say this place is there for the customer and who I will always recommend. I have never purchased from Byoung. I went with my friends to pick up their new 2019 coach. We did a walk through and around and found several problems with it including large chunks of paint missing, no key to unlock the door, white marks on the back that look like they backed into something. While we were there the sales rep said all issues would be fixed and offered the vent covers for 125. HE NEVER SAID THAT THERE WAS ANOTHER PRICE TO INSTALL! They were charged an additional $300 to install an then after we left they were told due to the price being so low, only a few issues will be resolved. And they have them touch up paint to use. Bought a new RV from here, was told it had solar panels on it. It didn't. Got jacked around by the sales dept. So... that's the first thing. The Thor motorhome we bought is a POS. It's been in for warranty more then we have used it. The service advisor, won't return phone calls or tell us what's going on. They can't fix anything correctly. Purchased a new Grand Designs 5th wheel and have a buck of warranty/quality items that need fixed. it took 6 months to get an appointment and the service department communication was horrible and non-existent. Finally took my RV in to have some of those items fixed and when I went to pick it up the service person I was working with want there and they had no idea I was coming in. After picking it up nothing was done after Lazy Days having it for a week. I decided to try and work with a different service person to see if that would help with communication but it was the same with little communication and pr to call back only to be continually ghosted by them. My husband and I purchased a 2019 5ht wheel in February 2022 and included the warranty agreements they offered. Our RV has been permanently placed in Cascade Locks. The sales manager and loan manager, David Jeraldo both knew that was was our intentons. Our 4 door refrigerato quit cooling the end of March and to date I have received no assistance in getting it fixed.. Don't buy the warranties offered unless you live withing 40 miles and can deliver the traler/camper to the dealership. The warranty is usless if you expect to have on-site repairs. The warranty company, American Guardian, was rude and was unable to help locate someone to come to our home and work on the refridgeator.Nor was I able to get any help from the dealership. Their salesman Michael Reidy was awesome. That is the reason for the single star. The rest whas been useless. Make sure you can deliver your unit to the dealership or don't waste the money on the extended warranty. read more

Bought a used trailer from them that was obviously not thoroughly checked over, and the purchasing experience left much to be desired.

We spent 100,000 dollars on a brand new trailer and the service afterwards has been appalling. We need warranty work and live in Southern Oregon and they have absolutely no flexibility to accommodate our bringing our trailer in early since we are flying out of Portland. We didnt ask for them to work on it early but we didnt want to make an extra trip. They will say anything to get you to buy and then they are put out when you need anything afterwards. We are currently looking to trade our 2022 off just so we dont have to deal with them anymore. I wish I would have read their reviews before buying, hence this review. read more

You can buy an RV from any number of dealers , but it's the service after the sale that matters. I have bought 5 RV's in my life mostly from Camping World . Getting service to fix defects , adjustments, was painful to say the least, wait weeks or even months just for an appointment date and then pray it's done right the first time . . BYoung has been EXCELLENT!! in service after the sale. I don't know if applies to every service advisor, but I can tell you it certainly does with Stacey Trogdon , friendly ! Helpful ! This place is awful!!!! We purchased a brand new 2023 travel trailer in November of 2022. The buying process was fine (Connor was great), however; before we were able to use our new trailer, we noticed a leak in the skylight above the shower. We brought the trailer back to Lazy Days and they kept it for about two months...after finally getting our trailer back and super excited for our 'grand voyage' we reserved a weekend a Belknap Hot Springs in February. Well--our hot water heater was not working. We attempted to call customer service - was anyone else 'sold' on the customer service being amazing? Well, it is not; was a complete joke. We called Lazydays on our way home and explained what happened and said we were dropping the trailer off after we unpacked. Lazydays was less than accommodating to this request, we dropped it anyway. Upon dropping off my husband was told he would have to pay $190 to winterize the trailer - he did not, ended up buying their product and doing it himself. Well it is now March 14th and we were able to pick up our trailer today, upon arriving my husband was told we were being charged $190 for the dewinterization and the winterization of the trailer. Ember the service advisor was helpful and got it but was unable to help. Dustin the manager was less than helpful, even hid from my husband...what a joke. Seems like this place needs new management, or maybe Dustin needs to sharpen his customer service skills. Is anyone paying attention to this place? read more

The salesmen are dishonest and not well informed. We wanted a 2020 Imagine and were upsold to a 2021 model, we were also told 3 different prices for the same trailer. We were assured its exactly the same so we ordered it, after settling on one price. We put our money down and waited almost a month. When the trailer finally came in the furniture was not even close to what we ordered. When we told the salesman Dave he told us the factory changed it mid year and thats the way its gonna be from now on. I then spoke with the general manager Bill and he told us that 100 of them went out with these tiny little sofas ( that just look ridiculous in the spot for the big 72 inch sofa that we ordered ). We were then told that another customer has one coming in near the end of August with our furniture and we can just wait for another month for that camper. We reminded them long ago we have planned a trip with our family and grandchildren in early August and this trailer they tried giving us isnt gonna work ( the little sofa removed one bed ) and we'll have to cancel our purchase . We live 4 hours from B. Young dealership. Saw a motorhome on their web site we liked. Called and were told it was still for sale. Left that morning and once we go their they could not find it. We suspected that the low price posted was a scam to get people to the dealership and there never was that RV. So we covered the lot and found one we might like. We are not new to this, we have RV'd for over 35 years , owned 12 coaches and traveled over 100,000 miles. The salesman was pushy and obnoxious. I had been shopping for two months so I knew the prices that were fair....not a B Young they were the highest of any 9 dealers we shopped. Bruce the owner took the attitude if you dont like my price go else where. So OK we thought maybe they could cut us a deal on the over $10k in accessories we wanted. $6 k at Camping World and $11K at B Young. Then, when she did transfer us, David picked up and called us by name! She told him and he listened! We did go to look at 2 specific trailers, which he showed us. He listened closely to what we said we wanted - and did not want - and was careful to show us other items that met our requirements. He spent time with us and answered our questions. We left for lunch and he was looking something up and said he'd call us when he got the answer - AND HE DID! Sales people where great until we came to pick it up... maybe it's because it was used? It's a Tiffin Open Road (gas) 2012...we agreed on 4 things to be fixed they had 3 weeks to fix it and when we came to get it not one thing was done...I think they all forgot about it and remembered when we came to pick it up so they all disappeared and we had to hit the road so we are fixing them ourselves but it was a real disappointment that they didn't fix anything and when we called them about it they said they would only send us the floor tiles(they where suppose to fix the floor tiles, replace the dashboard vent covers, fix a door that wasn't catching and fix one of the stove top burners that wouldn't light plus the 1/2 of the middle brake light wasn't working)said they hadn't agreed to the vent covers but when we did the walk through ..that guy said he would that it was a cheap fix and easy. Anyway I pointed out that they now don't have to put the tiles in now that we are and since we have to fix everything at least they could send us the vents BUT nope they are only sending us the tiles which we have not received so I will be surprised if they come. Again we are really disappointed in B. Young we thought they were better than the rest. read more

It is sad that a local business has been taken over by a large corporation! This "new company" lacks direction and it seems that the employees are not very happy with the change. We had a fairly regular purchase of our used 2017 Class C RV and were told that everything was in tip top shape, the RV had been cleaned out thoroughly and we should not have any problems! WRONG!! Problems with the hot water heater the first time we took it on a trip, the check engine light showed up after the first filling and there is a problem with the Catalytic Converter! Supposedly it was fixed, until the check engine light came back on. In Oregon it is against the law to sell a vehicle with a defective Catalytic Converter! We're beyond angry with this company and would not recommend them to anyone!!! They will take care of this problem, or we will contact an attorney! Length is important, but you have to actually waste your time and click on the unit, and then to the manufacturer link, to find out what size it is. In the age of internet you would think they would have a user friendly website.. But, no. when I sent them a message regarding photos so I don't waste my time making an appointment going in there, I was given some smarmy answer. I'll start out saying my wife and I had been thinking about buying RV for years. During the course of all this thinking I went into B. YOUNG RV several times. I'd spoken to sales and service people. I was so impressed with the folks there I decided that this is the place I want to buy our first RV thinking "they were the best" and I couldn't go wrong. I had so much confidence ib their operation we bought 2006 Holiday Rambler on a Monday, picked it up on following Friday and left for trip to Phoenix AZ the next day. I know, I know we should have taken shorter trips to start with but again I had so much confidence in their service department and their bumper to bumper inspection. It just seemed like the best place to go....what could go wrong. So we left town and the handling was very rough. I though maybe I just had to get used to it but by the time I got to AZ after many agonizing hours and hours I was about to sell the darn thing and fly home. In addition to the handling issue, the mirrors were vibrating all over the place. I thought the mirrors were just loose in the housing. They were and stopping at a truck repair place on the way tightening them made them better. Also the headlights worked horribly which I didn't find out until it got dark. They were really bad. So with lousy handling, vibrating mirrors, and virtually no headlights I started to question the thoroughness of the bumper to bumper inspection. I wanted to take the RV into a mechanic in AZ but it was a holiday weekend and nobody was working. I found out on the way that the tires were inflated to only 70lbs. 20-25 lbs less than they should have been. I had 90 pounds put in each tire and it was a different vehicle, much better handling. But the guy pointed out there were small stress cracks along the rim of each tire. The tires were only 2 years old. When I picked it up at the dealer the tires were painted with tire black that filled the cracks. The only reason some cracks became visible is because the spinning of the tires as I traveled pushed some of it out of the cracks. The guy told me just to keep an eye on them. So I made my way slowly back home. We decided to take a better but much slower route back home. I took the RV back to the dealership to have them look at the tires, mirrors, and headlights. The sales manager told me there was no problem with the tires, they were just fine and that he would not have a problem driving on them but that he would have his Les Schwab guy look at them. Well lo and behold that guy said they were fine. I went and spoke to their les Schwab guy and I found he didn't look at them himself. Now, I took pictures of the cracks in the tires and had provided them to the sales manager. You would think the sales manager would show the pics to him but no. So I show the pics to the tire guy and he was shocked. He said they had just looked at the date code and saw tires were 2 years old and that was the extent of his analysis. I asked him after showing the pictures if HE would drive on those tires and he said NO WAY. So, Insist that B. Young replace the tires. That's when the sales manager got belligerent telling me I should have noticed the tires before I left the lot and if I was so worried about them why did I drive them all the way back from CA. He also accused everyone who told me the tires were bad was lying just wanting me to buy tires. So in researching this further I looked into Goldway tires and talked to previous owner to see where he bought the tires thinking they may be under warranty. BUT THIS GUY SAID HE DIDN'T PUT THE GOLDWAY TIRES ON THERE, IT HAD GOODYEAR WHEN HE TRADED IT IN. It was then that I ran carfax report and found out B. YOUNG had it on lot for 3 years and put 3000 miles on it in the process. I was convinced that B. YOUNG purposely put cheap tires on and they had gone bad while on their lot. They dressed them up to make them look real good. B. YOUNG denied any if this and refused to replace the tires. Sales manager basically told me the RV was ready and they are not a storage facility. I asked if they would split the cost of new tires ($2600) and he countered with $500 toward purchase which I accepted. Now, let's talk about the mirrors. Not only were they loose in the housing but the whole mirror assembly where it attaches to the body was broken. They had to contact the factory to find out how to fix it. Again, something that should have been caught during bumper to bumper inspection. Okay, let's talk about the headlights. I asked them to adjust headlights and they checked off that they had adjusted them. But later I found that the whole light mounting was broken and they actually won't adjust and just flop around. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE TO BUY AND WORSE PLACE FOR SERVICE. I now go to camping world for all service. read more
