It was a rough night for the man at the service desk. After about 5 attempts he completed my…read morespecial order. It was fine though and I wasn't in a hurry. He was clearly having a rough day but it happens! Special order will arrive in 3 days and I am excited to see it! Pricing is comparable but stock is limited as there's soooo many options for camping equipment! They have a membership deal which is attractive but I don't think it would make sense for me at this time.

I should have read the reviews zero stars…read more I made an appointment to drop my 2024 Grand Design travel trailer off on March 31 at Camping World in Sturtevant, WI to have the wheel bearings repacked and slide out maintenance. The cost for the bearing repack was $369.17. I thought this would be pretty straightforward. 10 days later they let me know the work was complete and I picked up the trailer. After a 1 hour drive to get home with horrible gas mileage I noticed two of the metal grease caps had fallen off while I was checking the tire pressure. My tires were under inflated by 20 psi each. I called the store and made another appointment to get the caps fixed. I was told replacing the grease caps was not included in the maintenance that had been done and I would have to pay for new grease caps to be installed. I was told the caps would be ordered and I would get a call when they were in. In the meantime we took a short 1 hour trip in the travel trailer and the other caps fell off. We took the travel trailer to the dealership on May 10, 2026 as it was on our way home and were told the parts had not yet been ordered but they would get on it. During the interaction the counter personnel implied that the caps were known to be defective, that they couldn't get the original caps anymore and they had no caps on hand at the service center. None of that was communicated to us at the time of service. They stated once again they would order caps and call me when they were in stock. At this point it was a month since I had first picked up the trailer and let them know the caps were falling off. I called the dealership again on the 12th to check and was told the caps had been ordered, they were expecting them and we could have the caps installed on May15th. I talked to an ASE certified mechanic friend who chuckled and told me there was nothing special about the caps and I could pick them up from any automotive store or get them on Amazon, so I ordered 4 caps and got them the next day so I would have a set if I needed them. I took the trailer in for my appointment. I was told to park it and they would get to it the following week because the parts were still not in. I showed them my caps and asked them to install them. I was told they did not have the time and I would have to leave the trailer again. Note, it is a 1 hour drive from home each way with gas prices what they are right now. I asked for a manager and was told no one was available. At this point I had had enough. I took the trailer home, remove the tires and replaced the caps myself, which I should have done in the first place. On Saturday the 16th I got a call from the operations director apologizing for the miscommunication and she told me she would personally order new caps. I told her I was surprised as I had been told repeatedly that the caps had been ordered already and I was supposed to have had the caps replaced Friday but due to the parts not being in and no maintenance person available I was supposed to wait until Tuesday to pick it up with the new caps, but I took it back home and did it myself. Thankfully I have learned my lesson not to use Camping World for service. We were planning a trip to Yellowstone and no longer had time to waste on Camping Worlds' shenanigans. Lessons learned: 1. Bearing service is offered but they don't have any spare parts on hand. 2. You won't get a call back when promised. 3. They will lie to you about ordering parts.

Since it was 100 away, I had to care for his service dog in the car while the salesman talked to him. I got out and looked at it as well before having to go back to care for his service dog. We thought everything was disclosed. We ended up spending $60,000 on an RV that isn't worth it. We were ripped off. 1. The delivery driver said the address was wrong. No contact after we didn't receive our plate and registration. We had to find him on Facebook messenger because he wouldn't respond by phone or email. Said he'd take care of the plate. 2. Massive propane leak that we are going to have to try and fix. 3. Door doesn't close and lock properly. 4. Never got our plate! We would not recommend. Since I work closely with VA for the disabled, I especially would not recommend for the disabled. I'm looking on filing a formal complaint. This is not right. My husband is disabled. The least they could have done was disclosed the leak problem, the door problem! He has a hard enough time with mobility. It always has to use propane, no 12 volt? Definitely they should have given him a large chunk off of this because of the problems! Not recommending anyone we know go here. They don't seem to care about disabled vets by not discussing problems with RV, just making the sale then very little or no contact and not getting our plate! $60,000 when there are problems with this. I have to show this to his doctor and we decide what to do.
